Abstract

Artikel ini berjudul ?Paradigma Baru Konsep Ta?wil:Telaah atas Pemikiran Muhammad Syahrur. Muhammad Syahrur berusaha melakukan dekonstruksi sekaligus rekonstruksi terhadap berbagai konsep, teori dan paradigma yang telah mapan dan menjadi mainstream pemahaman, pemikiran, dan bahkan keyakinan mayoritas umat Islam. Khususnya melalui karyanya yang berjudul al-Kitâb wa al-Qur`an:Qirâ`ah Mu?ashrah. Salah satu upaya dekonstruksi yang dilakukan Syahrur adalah mengenai konsep ta?wil sebagai metodologi memahami teks al-Qur?an. Konsep ta?wil yang dimaksud oleh Syahrur diperkenalkanya dengan istilah manhaj at-tartil. Hal yang menarik untuk dikaji adalah dekonstruksi konsep ta?wil yang selama ini menjadi wilayah sakral dalam memahami makna eksoterik al-Qur?an dipahami berbeda oleh Syahrur. Maka artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Bagaimanakah pandangan Muhammad Syahrur terhadap konsep ta?wil dan Bagaimana implikasi penerapan konsep ta?wil yang dirumuskan Muhammad Syahrur jika dipakai dalam penafsiran al-Qur?an.

Abstract

Muhammad Arkoun is one of Muslim thinkers who offers a controversial theory of interpretation of the Qur'an. Arkoun argues for a project of criticism of Islamic reasoning, which supports the reexamining of the essence considered as well-established in the Islamic world, which for him is not in accordance with the true Islamic reasoning. Through deconstruction he criticizes discourse that is considered well-established in Islam and  inseparable from its readers. One of them is about revelation, in which an important point of change is its historical plot that can been seen from the change of verbal revelation into a written corpus, or mushaf, which he considers as the point of problematization to restore the authenticity of the manuscripts and signifies a deviation in thought and interpretation. As a solution, Arkoun offers the concept of historicity in order to dismantle the discourse rooted for centuries.
