Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan format analisis kritis artikel (FAKA) yang berpotensi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa perlu dikembangkan sebagai salah satu kecakapan hidup abad 21 yang sangat diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan zaman. Keterampilan berpikir kritis juga diperlukan untuk mengembangkan proposal penelitian. Salah satu kegiatan yang harus dilakukan mahasiswa adalah melakukan analisis kritis (antis) artikel. Kegiatan melakukan antis artikel perlu dilakukan oleh setiap peneliti agar dapat memposisikan penelitiannya dalam state of the art penelitian dalam bidangnya. Kegiatan ini juga dimaksudkan untuk menambah wawasan dan rujukan yang dapat digunakan untuk membahas hasil penelitiannya. Dalam rangka melatih mahasiswa melakukan kegiatan antis artikel diperlukan FAKA yang tepat. Berdasarkan pengalaman membelajarkan metodologi penelitian selama bertahun-tahun dirasakan bahwa pemilihan FAKA sangatmenentukan kualitas dan pemanfaatan hasil antis artikel yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Metode penelitian deskriptif digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan format analisis kritis artikel yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan mendeskripsikan formatpenilaian hasil analisis kritis. FAKA yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa tersusun atas calon judul proposal penelitian, nomor urut artikel yang diantis, nama, NIM, kelas tanggal, referensi, kualitas jurnal, tujuan, metodologi penelitian, konsep yang dirujuk/dijadikan wacana, kelebihan dan kekurangan artikel, pertanyaan yang dimunculkan, konsep yang dipelajari, dan refleksi diri. Hasil penelitian ini adalah diperoleh FAKA berdasarkan FRISCO yang dapat memberdayakan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Masing-masing bagian dari FAKA dapat melatih mahasiswa untuk melakukan analisis secara kritis mengenai bagaimana artikel yang dianalisis kritis tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan oleh mahasiswa dalam rangka penyusunan proposal penelitiannya. This study is describing the article critical analysis format (FAKA) which has a potential to develop critical thinking skills. Students' critical thinking skills (SCTS) need to be developed as one of the 21st-century life skills that are needed to face the challenges. Critical thinking skills are also needed to develop research proposals. One of the activities that students must do is conducting critical analysis of articles, which is it need to be carried out by each researcher in order to point his state of the art of the research in his field. In order to train students to carry out critical analysis activities, the right FAKA is needed. Based on the experience of teaching research methodologies, the selection of FAKA determined the quality and utility of the results of critical analysis of articles. Descriptive research methods are used to describe the format of critical analysis that can develop critical thinking skills and describe the format of assessment of critical analysis results. FAKA has a potential to improve SCTS composed of prospective research proposal titles, the ordinal number of articles being analyzed, names, NIMs, date classes, references, journal quality, objectives, research methodology, referenced concepts, advantages, and disadvantages of articles, questions raised, concepts learned, and self-reflection. The results of this study are obtained by FAKA based on FRISCO which can empower SCTS. Each part of FAKA can train students to analyze critically about how the critically analyzed articles can be utilized by students in order to compile their research proposals.

Abstract

This study investigates the efficacy of teachers' roles in face-to-face learning to mitigate learning loss post the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on grade VI at an exemplary elementary school. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, the research involves principals, grade VI teachers, and students. Findings reveal that the teachers' effective implementation of diverse learning media tailored to student needs, consistent application of consequences and rewards, and utilization of a YouTube channel for supplementary learning materials contributed to a significant reduction in learning loss. Notably, the school achieved outstanding literacy and numeracy abilities, ranking among the top nationally. The implications underscore the importance of innovative teaching methods and technology integration in post-pandemic educational recovery efforts. Highlights: Effective teacher roles post-COVID: Diverse teaching media, consistent application of consequences and rewards, utilization of digital platforms like YouTube for supplemental learning. Success factors: Adaptable teaching methods tailored to student needs, proactive use of technology, and maintaining high academic standards. Academic achievements: Notable literacy and numeracy abilities, top-ranking nationally, and successful performance in standardized tests like OSN at the provincial level. Abstract

This study aims to understand the "Learning Environment Survey (Sulingjar)" program launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia which is carried out in order to fulfill the National Assessment (AN) in the perspective of Edward Lee Thorndike's behaviorism learning theory. In the perspective of Thorndike's behaviorist learning theory, learning is the interaction between stimuli (stimulus) and responses (responses). There are similarities between what was proclaimed by the Minister of Education and Culture in the National Assessment and the concept of Thorndike's behaviorism learning theory. The writing of this article uses qualitative research with a type of descriptive approach. Data collection is carried out by observation, document review and literature study. The results of the study obtained the results of a good learning environment survey (distilljar) in elementary schools from the perspective of Edward Lee Thorndike's behaviorism learning theory about stimulus-response showed that the school safety climate, diversity climate, and good learning quality can increase student learning motivation..

Abstract

Global warming is a symptom of an increase in the average temperature of the earth's surface. Global warming is caused by the large concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. One of the biggest greenhouse gases contributing to global warming is carbon dioxide (CO2). Forest vegetation can absorb about 50% of total emissions through a sequestration process stored in biomass in all parts of the plant. The study aimed to determine the potential of biomass, carbon stocks, carbon sequestration, oxygen production, and the CO2 absorption value of environmental services in three types of ecosystems in Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Research sampling was conducted using purposive sampling techniques and roaming methods. Calculation of biomass potential, carbon stock, carbon sequestration, oxygen production, and environmental service value of CO2 uptake using an allometric formula The results of research on the biomass potential of mangrove forests, lambusango forests, and pine forests were respectively, 16,108.27 tons/ha, 84,693.72 tons/ha, and 14,273.98 tons/ha. The potential carbon stock is 8,054.13 tons/ha, 42,346.86 tons/ha, and 7,136.99 tons/ha. The carbon absorption potential is 29,558.67 tons/ha, 155,412.98 tons/ha, and 26,192.75 tons/ha. The potential oxygen production is 21,504.54 tons/ha, 113,066.12 tons/ha, and 19,055.76 tons/ha, while the value of environmental services CO2 absorption is 2,221,038,614.63 Rp/ha, 11,677,731,637.57 Rp/ha, and 1,968,123,759 Rp/ha.

Abstract

This study focuses on the hydrological analysis of the Ciherang Watershed using four Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (SUH) methods: Snyder-Alexeyev, Nakayasu, ITB-1, and ITB-2. Each method was applied to determine their effectiveness in predicting flood hydrographs based on the watershed's physical characteristics and rainfall data from 2013 to 2023. The results indicate that the Snyder-Alexeyev method produced a rise time of 4.43 hours, a recession time of 20.17 hours, and a peak discharge of 1.627 m³/s. The Nakayasu method, with the fastest rise time of 2.049 hours and a recession time of 20.49 hours, generated the highest peak discharge at 2.523 m³/s. The ITB-1 method showed a rise time of 2.951 hours, a recession time of 29.512 hours, and a peak discharge of 1.895 m³/s. The ITB-2 method resulted in a rise time of 2.049 hours, a recession time of 20.49 hours, and a peak discharge of 1.891 m³/s. Among the methods, Nakayasu and ITB-2 demonstrated the quickest response, with Nakayasu yielding the highest peak discharge. These findings provide essential insights for flood management and infrastructure planning in the Ciherang Watershed and similar regions.

Abstract

Brand is an important factor that can attract the purchasing interest of Generation Y. This study aimed to examine the effect of brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand image to brand loyalty of Generation Y (15 to 33 years old). Increased purchasing power of generation Y are anticipated to make them become important targets for the brand. The samples of this study were 160 respondents of Generation Y and analyzed with path analysis. The result indicated that brand awareness and perceived quality were positive significantly affected to brand image and brand loyalty. Brand image positive significantlyaffected to brand loyalty. Brand image was able tomediated properly theeffect between brand awareness and perceived quality on brand loyalty.

Abstract

Whey Protein has become a growing trend in the health and fitness market, although it has not yet achieved a leading market position. This study aims to examine the influence of social media marketing activities, product quality, and brand image of FITlife Whey Protein on the purchase intention of millennial consumers at SAM Fitness in Malang City. Employing a quantitative descriptive approach with an explanatory research design, the study involved a population of 653 millennial consumers, from which 100 respondents were selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that social media marketing activities, product quality, and brand image each have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. The novelty of this research lies in its integrated analysis of these three factors specifically among millennial consumers. The study also highlights the strategic importance of strengthening digital marketing and maintaining high product quality to enhance consumer purchase intention.
