Abstract

Abstrak: Perilaku Kuasa Eksekutif dan Legislatif dalam Proses Penyusunan Anggaran Pemerintahan Daerah: Perspektif Interaksionisme Simbolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami perilaku kuasa eksekutif dan legislatif dalam proses penyusunan anggaran Pemerintahan Daerah Kota Mayapada.Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode interaksionisme simbolik dalam paradigma interpretif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan informan bagian penyusunan perencanaan dan penganggaran, yang didukung dengan observasi dan dokumentasi.Musyawarah perencanaan pembangunan (musrenbang) era reformasi diklaim menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, tetapi masyarakat hanya dijadikan objek partisipasi.Telah terjadipengaburan yang disebut peneliti dengan “katarak”, dengan membangun  interaksi pencitraan yang manis di depan publik dengan bahasa-bahasa hipokrit. Fakta sosial yang tergambarkan merupakan perilaku kuasa eksekutif dan legislatif dalam proses penyusunan anggaran.Abstract: Power of the Executive and Legislative Behavior in the Local Government Budgetary Process: Symbolic Interactionism Perspective. This study aims to understand the behaviour of the executive and legislative powers in the budgeting process in the Mayapada Urban Governance. Analyses were performed using the method of symbolic interactionism in the interpretive paradigm. The data was collected through interviews with informants on the preparation of planning and budgeting, which is supported by the observation and documentation. Development Planning Meeting (musrenbang) is claimed in the reformation era to have used participatory approach, but people were in fact still placed as participation object. There has been a blurring of reality which is named as ”cataract”, by building a sweet imagery interaction in public with hypocritical languages . Social facts illustrated are the behaviour of the executive and legislative powers in the budgeting process.

Abstract

Kesalahan pra-analitik memberikan kontribusi paling besar pada kesalahan di laboratorium (46-77,1%). Pelaksanaan pengambilan spesimen (flebotomi) yang tidak tepat, kurangnya pengetahuan dan ketidakpatuhan dari petugas flebotomi dilaporkan sebagai penyebab kesalahan pra-analitik yang berhubungan dengan kualitas spesimen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku perawat tentang tindakan flebotomi serta pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas spesimen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah 129 orang perawat pelaksana di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Kabupaten Jombang dengan masa kerja minimal 1 tahun dipilih secara acak. Pengetahuan dan sikap responden tentang tindakan flebotomi diukur menggunakan kuesioner. Perilaku dan kualitas spesimen diukur melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi Spearman, independent sample t-test, dan multiple logistic regression. Terdapat korelasi positif yang bermakna antara pengetahuan perawat dan kualitas spesimen (r=0,190; p=0,031). Tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna rata-rata skor sikap perawat tentang flebotomi berdasarkan kualitas spesimen laboratorium (p=0,698) dan tidak terdapat korelasi antara perilaku perawat dan kualitas spesimen (r=0,017; p=0,846). Pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku perawat tidak berpengaruh terhadap perubahan kualitas spesimen, diduga faktor peralatan yang digunakan untuk flebotomi memiliki peran dalam penentuan kualitas spesimen. Peningkatan pengetahuan, mempertahankan sikap positif, memperbaiki sikap negatif serta merevisi SPO pengambilan darah perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan.Kata Kunci: Kesalahan pra-analitik, kualitas spesimen, pengetahuan, perawat, perilaku, sikap

Abstract

This study used mixed methods: Grounded Theory of Mode 2 which focused on application for management science and supported by Experimental Design. It is resulted ” A Competitive Stakeholder Theory” with Theoretical Propositions are 1) CSR (Triple Bottom Line philosophy) and Stakeholder Theory are competing theories considered as strategic management to achieve objectives through value maximizing. The goal of Stakeholder Theory is pro all stakeholders involved. Every stakeholder including shareholder shares and creates values together which are useful for themselves. 2) Stakeholder Theory is a dynamic process that contributed by Power and Control of Stakeholders embedded in ethics/philosophy; Existing Issues; Cost Effective Strategies; Moral and Trust; PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act); Recognition and Creating Values. They are a continuous process and have an interrelated relationship. In addition, pre and post interventions in society showed dramatically in reducing communicable diseases. Workplace performed high productivity among workers. Good overall score of Malcolm Baldrige Score Card indicated the quality management of this CSR was in place. It is suggested this Stakeholder Theory would be applied at stable situation and at unstable situation such as uncertainty, turbulence, limited resources, remote areas, minimizing risk and issues of social responsibility. Although the CSR implemented in exploration phase or has not produced yet, there would be value creation for all stakeholders involved particularly community.Keywords: CSR, Stakeholder Theory, Competitive, Value Maximizing

Abstract

Research result indicate that there are 7 hypothesis that positively and significantly influenced, and two hypothesis that positively and significantly not related. The hypothesis that positively and significantly influenced are : (1) Individual Characteristic influence to the job satisfaction, (2) organizational beliefs influenced the job satisfaction,(3) individual characteristic influence the organizational commitment, (4) Work stress influence the organizational commitment, (5) job satisfaction influence the organizational commitment, (6) job satisfaction influence the intention to stay, and (7) organizational commitment influence the intention to stay. While the hypothesis that are not positive and significant influence are: (1) work stress influence the job satisfaction, and (2) organizational beliefs influence the organizational commitment.Keywords: Individual characteristic, work stress, organizational belief, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and intention to stay

Abstract

 ABSTRACT Purpose — This research was conducted to study the effect of information sharing and information quality toward supply chain integration and farmer business performance.Design/methodology/approach — The type of this research is quantitative explanatory research. The data used in this study are primary data obtained by questionnaire. The sampling method uses multistage proportional random sampling, sample obtained amount 200 farmers. Data analysis in this study uses path analysis method with SPSS 23.Findings — The results of this research indicate that the quality of information is not significant to the integration of supply chain and farmer business performance. Information sharing has a positive and significant effect toward supply chain integration and farmer business performance, supply chain integration has a positive and significant effect toward farmer business performance.Practical Implications — Increasing global business competition and efforts to shorten product life cycles are the two main factors that encourage businesses to change their focus from competitive competition to mutually beneficial relationships and cooperation to improve business performance.Originality/value — The main objective of supply chain activities for business activities is a crucial element because with these activities the goods produced can reach the end consumers.Keywords — Information Sharing, Information Quality, Supply Chain Integration, Enterprise Performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the influence of team work, leadership style and organizational culture on nurse performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The research unit is nurses at Type B hospitals in Jakarta. The population is 1362 nurses. Methods of collecting data using surveys. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed to 523 respondents. Data analysis method uses Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square SEM-PLS). The results of the study prove that teamwork has a positive effect on nurse performance. Teamwork does not affect organizational commitment. Organizational culture has a positive effect on nurse performance. Organizational culture has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Leadership style does not affect nurse performance. Leadership style does not affect organizational commitment. Organizational commitment has a positive effect on nurse performance. Organizational commitment cannot play a role in mediating the influence of teamwork on nurse performance. Organizational commitment can play a role in mediating the influence of organizational culture on nurse performance. Abstract

The research aimed to test the new measures of employee empowerment in a collectively social oriented society. The study applied questionnaire-based survey to obtain data and test the relationship between employee empowerment and organisational performance. A total of 80 completed questionnaires from the senior HR personnel from 40 organisations in the Gambia took part in the survey. Ten employees were engaged in a face-to-face interview, 2 private and 8 public organisations from among the 40 organisations that participated. Both SPSS and SmartPLS were utilised to analyse data. MGA is used to determine the difference private and public organisations. The study has indicated a significant relationship between employee empowerment and organisational performance. The findings revealed a small but not significant difference between the private and public organisations in their definition of employee empowerment in the Gambia based on MGA report. The findings discovered that the social nature of employees cannot be disputed, and a strong recognition of employees promotes organisation performance. HR department and organisational flexibility relates more to employee’s empowerment and has effect on attitude and behaviour. The study recommends further large-scale research in other environments outside the Gambia.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of employee empowerment, work environment, and career development on the performance of Aceh Government employees. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 150 employees. Data analysis method was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that employee empowerment, work environment, and employee career development affected work motivation and employee performance significantly. In addition, employee empowerment and work motivation have a direct and significant influence on employee performance, and career development and work environment also have a direct effect on performance. Work motivation partially mediates the influence of employee empowerment, work environment, career development on performance. The Government of Aceh is expected to improve career development in order to create a conducive work environment to improve the performance of Aceh Government employees.

Abstract

This research aims at discovering the influence of some antecedent variables, namely apparatus culture, apparatus personality, and regulations, on two endogenous variables of conflict and local government performance during the conflicts between the provincial and regency/city governments in North Maluku. This study employed two research methods. The first was a quantitative data analysis, which served as the primary method, using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The second was a qualitative analysis using an interactive method. The interactive method was carried out with an in-depth study on the interviews with some local figures. Data analysis was done in several stages, i.e.: data collection, data reduction, data display, and data interpretation.The study reveals the following findings. 1) Apparatus culture, apparatus personality, and regulations have a direly and significant impact on the conflict between the local authorities in North Maluku. The relation direction between the three exogenous variables and conflict is negative, which means that low exogenous variables results in more conflicts. 2) The apparatus culture and personality directly and significantly affect government performance. Regulations also directly influence performance, but the influence is not significant. The positive relation direction implies that negative apparatus culture and personality will result in a poor government performance. 3) Conflicts between the local authorities have a direct and significant impact on their performance. The relation between the variables is negative, which means more conflicts will decrease performance.Keywords: Culture, Apparatus, Personality Apparatus, Regulation, Conflict, Performance, Local Autonomy.
