Abstract

The face of education in Indonesia at this time has been tarnished because of the failed products that have been produced. For example, there are many rampant corruptors around us. They are people who are highly educated,but have low conscience. Not only did the product fail, but in the process of education it also failed. We can see it from the relationship between educators, students, and parents who should support each other instead of blaming each other. Finally, education which should be a problem solver for the problems that arise, instead becomes a trouble maker in this country. This is what indicates that something is wrong with our education so far. Therefore, this paper will examine the learning resources at the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW as a mirror of introspection for better education. As we know, the learning resources that existed at the time of the Prophet Muhammad were very limited, but could produce education that hacked into all the problems that existed in his day. This is different from the education of the present era whose learning resources are all sophisticated, but have not produced good education. With a literature review, the authors hope that writing can contribute to education in Indonesia to be even better.

Abstract

As we know, Indonesia is an unique country with various tribe, ethnic, language, culture, and religion. All the diversity to be incorporated in the concept “Bhineka Tunggal Ika” which means different but remains just one. This unity that makes Indonesia mre beautiful within its harmonization. However, at this moment Indonesia is going through a crisis of tolerance where every individual or group blames others individual or group. An unity is very important for Indonesia’s progress. Surely, We need a solution for intolerance problem. This paper analyze about ummatan wasathan or the middle mankind as Islamic thinking for dig up its values. By using study text, context, and contextualization towards Q.S. Al-Baqarah : 143 this paper tries to catch message, and meant from that verse. This verse mentions that Alloh has made Islam mankind to be ummatan wasathan. The conclusion from this paper is for answer intolerance problem that threatens an unity in Indonesia, so that the harmonization within various can keep to be saved, and preserved.

Abstract

Raising the background of harmony in Islamic education, which is a crucial aspect in creating a peaceful and inclusive society. Social harmony in the context of education does not only focus on the transfer of knowledge, but also on the formation of positive social values ​​such as tolerance, empathy, and solidarity. The era of globalization that often threatens local cultural identity and increases social inequality, education has an important role as a builder of relationships between students who respect and understand differences. By using an interactive approach in the learning process, it aims to provide guidance for educators in creating a learning environment that supports social harmony. The method used in this study is library research. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of educational theory and more harmonious and inclusive learning practices. Thus, this study does not only focus on theoretical aspects, but also provides practical insights for educators in creating a learning environment that supports social harmony in the classroom.
