Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of poster design in class X bacterial high school learning material. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Riau University in February-March 2020. This research was conducted in 2 stages: the experimental stage and the second stage is Poster Design that is analysis of the potential development of high school learning media Bacteria class X material. The study used an experimental method of descriptive qualitative research design. Based on the potential analysis, it was found that endophytic bacteria isolated from Laban plants can be used as a poster design of class X bacterial material for SMA 3.5 KD.Key Words: Poster, Bacteria

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi bakteri endofit dari daun dan kulit batang tanaman Laban (Vitex pubescens Vahl) dan uji antibakteri . Bakteri di isolasi menggunakan media HVA. Karakteristik bakteri endofit  diamati secara makroskopis, mikroskopis dan melakukan uji katalase serta untuk uji antibakteri menggunakan bakteri patogen Erwinia carotrova. Jumlah isolat endofit yang berhasil diisolasi berjumlah 8 isolat (4 isolat dari daun Laban dan 4 isolat dari kulit batang Laban). Karakterisasi dilakukan pada 8 isolat endofit yang dihasilkan bahwa isolat memiliki ciri-ciri yang berbeda baik secara makroskopis, mikroskopis, dan semua isolat endofit dari tanaman Laban menghasilkan enzim katalase (uji +). Uji Bakteri endofit  terhadap bakteri patogen diperoleh 7 isolat memiliki daya hambat terhadap bakteri Erwinia carotrova.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are skills students must have in the 21st century. These skills can improve analytical skills and make students think more carefully This study aims to determine the effect of circulation system e-module based on learning cycle 8e on high school students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is quasi-experimental, which consists of 2 classes, namely XI IPA 1 as the experimental class with treatment using e-module circulation system based on learning cycle 8e and XI IPA 2 as the control class, which uses conventional learning. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a significant effect of the circulation system e-module based on learning cycle 8e on students' critical thinking skills, where in the control class the average posttest score was far below the experimental class, which was 55.5 and the experimental class average posttest score was 69.5. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, a significant value (2 tailed) was obtained of 0.003 (p<0.05). The use of circulation system e-module based on learning cycle 8e has a positive effect on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan bakteri endofit sebagai penghasil senyawa metabolit sekunder sangat menguntungkan. Kandungan metabolit sekunder yang terdapat di dalam jaringan tumbuhan serta dalam bakteri merupakan potensi yang memberikan banyak manfaat dalam bidang pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi bakteri endofit dari daun dan kulit batang tanaman Laban (Vitex pubescens Vahl) dan uji antibakteri. Bakteri diisolasi menggunakan media HVA. Karakteristik bakteri endofit  diamati secara makroskopis, mikroskopis, dan melakukan uji katalase serta untuk uji antibakteri menggunakan bakteri patogen Erwinia carotrova. Jumlah isolat endofit yang berhasil diisolasi berjumlah delapan isolat (empat isolat dari daun laban dan empat isolat dari kulit batang laban). Karakterisasi dilakukan pada delapan isolat endofit yang dihasilkan bahwa isolat memiliki ciri-ciri yang berbeda baik secara makroskopis, mikroskopis, dan semua isolat endofit dari tanaman laban menghasilkan enzim katalase (uji +). Hasil aktivitas antibakteri menunjukkan tujuh isolat bakteri endofit memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap erwinia carotrovora. Tanaman laban kaya akan keragaman bakteri endofit. Isolate bakteri endofit terisolasi 8 spesies yang berbeda (DA45, DA46, DB15, DB16, KBC1, KBC2, KBC3 dan KBC4). Bakteri endofit yang berasosiasi dengan tanaman berperan penting dalam kesehatan tanaman.
