Abstract

This study aimed to determine how self-efficacy affects teacher task performance in SMP Negeri Bengkulu Selatan and how knowledge affects task performance. The quality of an agency can be seen from the task performance of its employees. Task performance can be improved by various aspects, such as fulfilling desires, work needs, individual and job compatibility, and formal and informal relationships with colleagues. The SmartPLS4 application was used for the SEM analysis method in this study. The sample was 110 teachers from all public junior high schools in South Bengkulu. The test results show that the self-efficacy variable has a positive and significant influence on the task performance of each teacher. In contrast, the knowledge variable does not significantly influence a teacher's task performance. The results showed a t-value of 5.387 > 1.96 and a p-value of 0.000 < 0.050, thus indicating that the self-efficacy variable significantly positively affects task performance. The study results show that the t-value of 1.206 < 1.96 and the p-value of 0.228 < 0.50 shows that the knowledge variable does not positively affect the task performance variable. This research aims to inspire teachers by considering that self-efficacy and knowledge can affect task performance individually and institutionally.

Abstract

This study examines and analyzes the significant positive effect of job satisfaction and motivation on employee performance mediated by informal learning. The population of this study was employees of the Ministry of Health who worked in the Bengkulu Province based on the Ministry of Health Polytechnic and the Class III Port Office of Bengkulu Province. The number of respondents amounted to 100 people. The study was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with PLS 3 analysis tool. Based on the research conducted, we found that job satisfaction had a significant positive effect on informal learning and employee performance directly. On the other hand, motivation positively affects performance, although it cannot affect performance. In addition, informal learning can also positively impact improving performance directly. However, informal learning cannot mediate job satisfaction and motivation in improving employee performance in the mediating relationship. This study provides implications for informal learning through informal discussions in the form of constructive feedback between leaders as mentors and employees, which are expected to motivate to improve employee performance on an ongoing basis.

Data were collected via an online questionnaire, followed by validity and reliability tests, and then analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderation tests using the PROCESS macro. The results indicate that self-leadership and adversity quotient have a positive and significant effect on teachers' organizational commitment. Additionally, emotional intelligence was found to moderate the relationship between self-leadership and adversity quotient on organizational commitment. These findings emphasize the importance of developing self-leadership, adversity quotient, and emotional intelligence in enhancing teachers' organizational commitment. The practical implications of this study are the need for self-development and emotional intelligence training for teachers, as well as institutional support to create a conducive and sustainable work environment

Abstract

Abstract

In the context of accelerated transformation and intense competition, organizations increasingly rely on employee innovation to ensure their continued success. Therefore, it is important to understand the factors that can drive innovative work behavior in the workplace. This study aims to investigate the effect of inclusive leadership and perceived organizational support on innovative work behavior, with work engagement as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method in the form of a structured questionnaire. The population in this study was all Indomaret employees in Bengkulu City, with a non-probability sampling technique. A total of 210 respondents participated by completing a structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method through SmartPLS software version 4. The findings indicate that inclusive leadership and perceived organizational support have a substantial impact on work engagement. Furthermore, both factors have been shown to directly and positively influence employee innovative work behavior. Furthermore, this study found that work engagement mediates this relationship, with a more pronounced mediation effect observed between perceived support and innovation than between inclusive leadership and innovation. Testing the mediation model of work engagement in the context of modern retail in Indonesia is still rarely studied, especially with a focus on inclusive leadership and POS simultaneously. The main theoretical contribution of this study is to confirm that work engagement serves as an important mechanism that transforms a supportive organizational environment into innovative behavior by increasing employees' energy, dedication, and intrinsic motivation. The practical implications of this phenomenon encourage organizations to cultivate inclusive leadership and a supportive environment to encourage employee innovative behavior.
