Abstract

Dalam menjalankan pelayanan, antrian merupakan suatu hal yang tidak bisa dihindari. Antrian yaitu salah satu faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepuasan pelanggan, selain itu juga berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kenyamanan pelanggan. Antrian menumpuk pada Halte Trans Semarang termasuk salah satu hal yang sering terjadi, contohnya yaitu pada Halte Trans Semarang di Udinus. Pada jam- jam tertentu sering terjadi antrian atau penumpukan dalam menunggu datangnya bis. Hal ini berdampak pada ketidaknyamanan penumpang trans semarang dalam memperoleh pelayan yang diharapkan. Penelitian berbasis sistem simulasi ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi antrian pelayanan pada Halte Trans Semarang Udinus melalui simulasi. Simulasi menjadi hal yang sangat penting karena berbagai penelitian yang telah dilakukan menggunakan sistem simulasi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan seperti ini. Salah satu perangkat lunak atau software yang dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi dan menganalisis secara visual/layout adalah software Arena. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menentukan upaya apa saja yang bisa dilakukan dalam melakukan perbaikan waktu tunggu pelanggan trans semarang pada antrean pelayanan melalui penggunaan software Arena.

Abstract

Dalam industri manufaktur mencerminkan mesin menjadi faktor krusial dalam menjaga kelancaran proses produksi PT. XYZ, sebagai produsen karoseri kendaraan besar, menghadapi tantangan downtime akibat kerusakan mesin yang berdampak pada target produksi dan efisiensi biaya. Penelitian ini Bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh preventif maintenance terhadap jumlah produksi pada lini rangka bodi rangka, singkatnya pendekatan proaktif, dinilai lebih efektif dibandingkan perawatan korektif yang bersifat reaktif dan berberisiko tinggi terhadap kontinuitas produksi. Dengan metode kuantitatif dan analisis korelasional, penelitian dilakukan selama 13 bulan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara frekuensi pemeliharaan preventif dan jumlah produksi, dengan kontribusi sebesar 6,55% terhadap peningkatan output produksi., sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Uji regresi menunjukkan persamaan Y = 3714,273+-4,464x X, yang berarti setiap peningkatan kegiatan perawatan berdampak positif terhadap jumlah unit yang diproduksi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemeliharaan preventive yang dilakukan secara konsisten dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, mengurangi downtime, dan mendukung pencapaian target produksi secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Production defects are the main problem in making a product which can reduce production quality. Quality improvement is considered important in improving production quality. This research aims to improve quality by reducing the number of defects that occur on the production floor. This research used a quantitative method research design, and 40 data were taken randomly. Data was collected through direct observation in the field. Data analysis was carried out using the six sigma method and seven tools to determine the type of priority defects. The results of this research show that the six sigma value is still low, namely 2.67, which indicates that improving quality is needed to reduce the number of defects. Improving quality is an important factor in reducing the number of defects that occur. This research provides practical implications for company policy makers in designing strategies to improve production quality and reduce the number of defects.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ergonomic and economic aspects of implementing a multifunctional folding chair at CV. Fixed Interior, Semarang. The research addresses the high risk of non-ergonomic working postures and low time efficiency due to insufficient supporting facilities in the production environment. A comparison of working time before and after chair implementation was conducted, along with an economic feasibility analysis. Ergonomic assessments utilized the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), while the economic evaluation employed Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Break-Even Point (BEP), and Benefit-Cost Ratio (BCR). Results show a reduction in standard time from 678.31 minutes to 441.51 minutes, indicating a 35% efficiency increase. RULA and REBA scores reflected a lower posture risk level. Economically, the project is feasible, with an NPV of IDR 8,156,523, IRR exceeding the discount rate, BEP at five units sold, and a BCR of 14.15. Therefore, the folding chair is effective and commercially viable.

Abstract

Kondisi stasiun kerja pada UKM Mina Indo Sejahtera, khususnya untuk proses pembersihan ikan dan unggas dirasa masih belum ideal dan juga sangat terbatas ukurannya, sehingga mengakibatkan produktivitas kurang maksimal karena pekerja harus bergantian untuk menggunakan stasiun kerja tersebut. Selain itu, dikarenakan desain stasiun kerja pada UKM tersebut belum mempertimbangkan aspek ergonomi, mengakibatkan para pekerja pada stasiun kerja tersebut menjadi cepat mengalami kelelahan dan kram pada kaki dikarenakan postur kerja yang kurang tepat. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi produk meja kerja multifungsi dan ergonomis untuk mendukung proses produksi pada UMKM Mina Indo Sejahtera agar dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan meminimalkan kelelahan kerja. Meja kerja didesain sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengelola UKM Mina Indo Sejahtera yaitu meja dengan dimensi 120 cm x 120 cm dengan tinggi 75 cm. Material yang digunakan untuk pembuatan meja adalah food grade stainless stell. Meja kerja dilengkapi dengan kran serta saluran pembuangan air dan sampah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and enhance the quality of the pipe sales process by implementing the Seven Quality Control (QC) Tools combined with the Plan, Do, Check, Action (PDCA) approach. The research was motivated by a high defect rate and frequent customer complaints that negatively affected service quality and sales performance. A descriptive quantitative method was applied, using data collected from observations, interviews, and one-year sales reports. The analysis utilized seven quality control instruments: check sheet, histogram, Pareto chart, cause-and-effect (fishbone) diagram, scatter diagram, control chart, and flowchart to identify the root causes of product defects. The results revealed that the most common defects were bent pipes, uneven diameters, and cracks during cutting, which were primarily caused by human factors, work methods, and material quality. The PDCA cycle implementation effectively reduced defect levels, improved compliance with standard procedures, and promoted a culture of continuous improvement. Consequently, the integration of Seven QC Tools and the PDCA cycle has proven effective in improving product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction sustainably.

Abstract

This study analyzes and simulates the ticket queue system of the Trans Jogja Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) at Jombor Terminal, Yogyakarta. Increasing passenger mobility and the growing demand for public transportation services have contributed to queue congestion during peak operating hours. The queue system operates using a single-channel single-phase model with a First Come First Served (FCFS) discipline. This research aims to evaluate the performance of the existing queue system and validate the simulation model using the trace-driven method. Data were collected through direct observation of 300 passengers, including arrival time and service time data. The simulation process was conducted using the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method and analyzed using the Mann-Whitney statistical test. The results show that the simulation model successfully represents the real system, with a service time error of only 0.13% and an arrival time error of 1.58%. Furthermore, the Mann-Whitney test indicates no significant difference between the simulation and the actual system, with probability values greater than α = 0.1. The findings demonstrate that the trace-driven simulation method is effective for modeling queue systems and can be used to support queue service improvement strategies at Trans Jogja shelters.

Abstract

Introduction. The utilize of soaps that are not environmentally friendly is still common among the open. The need of information approximately environmentally friendly soap fixings is one of the contributing components. Purpose. This benefit points to extend information and abilities related to making environmentally friendly fluid soap, as well as a new commerce advancement for Family Welfare Strengthening (PKK) in Bojongsalaman Town RT 3 / RW 4 Semarang City. Method. The method of this Community service action is training. This community benefit action was carried out with the nearness of 20 PKK womens, 2 speakers and the action organizing committee. The activity starts with the introduction of fundamental beginning from the definition of soap, the working standards of soap, apparatuses and materials and the steps of making it. The activity proceeded with the hone of making environmentally friendly fluid soap with the heading of the speaker. Results. Pretest comes about of preparing as much as 10% get it almost environmentally friendly soap. Whereas the comes about of the preparing posttest were 90% caught on approximately environmentally friendly soap. An increment of 78% in trainees' information of environmentally friendly fluid soap appears the victory of this benefit. Conclusions and recomendation. This training expanded the information and aptitudes of PKK womne in making environmentally friendly fluid dish soap. It is hoped that the participants of this service can channel the information to the surrounding community.

Abstract

Dalam industry wiring harness, kesalahan pemasangan diode oleh operator dapat mempengaruhi kualitas produk dan efisiensi produksi. Untuk mengurangi kesalahan tersebut, perusahaan menerapkan alat Poka-Yoke Checker Dioda sebagai system pencegahan kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh learnability, effiency, dan memorability terhadap kepuasan operator dalam penggunaan alat tersebut di PT XYZ. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan System Usability Scale (SUS) yang dimodifikasi melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 50 operator. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, ANOVA, dan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efficiency dan memorability berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan operator, sedangkan learnability tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel memberikan kontribusi sebesar 63% terhadap kepuasan operator. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi dan kemudahan mengingat penggunaan alat menjadi faktor utama dalam meningkatkan kepuasan operator
