Abstract

Abstract Adolescents in a phenomenon within the school environment found concerns from researchers, this competence (communication style) can include difficulty expressing ideas in the discussion process, emotional control (affective feelings), the presence of stimulus from the friendship process in school, career choice (how to making a decision) means that after graduating from school the right goal is. Therefore, this research is considered important to test whether there is a relationship between one variable or another and existing theoretical concepts. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence of social competence on career choices at Kepanjen Islamic High School. To find out whether there is an influence of emotional control on Kepanjen Islamic High School students' career choices. To find out whether there is an influence of social competence and emotional control on the career choices of Kepanjen Islamic High School students The method used is the correlational method by proving the existence of a relationship between social competence and emotional control on career choice with data collection methods in the form of questionnaires, interview observations with analysis tests using validity and reliability tests, correlation tests and hypothesis tests. The result is that the correlation between social competence and the person's career choice is >0.501 with a score that can be said to be very significant in relation. Emotional control is related to career choice as proven by the person's results > 0.650 with a score that can be said to be very significant in this relationship. Social competence and emotional control are related to career choice as proven by the person's results > 0.577 and 0.501 and 0.650 with a minimum score of 0.05 which can be said to be very significant in this relationship. For teachers, map those who have low or high social competence as well as emotional control for students' career choices. In this case, teachers can map out who they want to continue their education or work and get married. in a social context, the school collaborates with related agencies to accommodate extensive and sustainable career information to innovate to conduct further studies with various parties in order to open mutual aid between the two parties. Abstract

The importance of Guidance and Counseling Services in guiding and accompanying students in the process of taking their education. However, many students are still reluctant and hesitant to consult and take advantage of Guidance and Counseling services due to various factors, one of which is the students' own perceptions. The various experiences that students feel, form a perception that underlies students 'attitudes and behavior as a reaction to what they think. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between perceptions of guidance and counseling services in schools with students' interest in consulting. This research uses a correlational quantitative approach. The research subjects were students of class VIII and IX Mts Miftahul Huda Turen. The research instrument used is a Likert scale with statistical analysis techniques using the Pearson Correlation formula. The results showed there was a positive relationship between perceptions of guidance and counseling services with the interest in consulting. So it can be concluded the importance of student perceptions in Guidance and Counseling services with student interest in consulting, making the results of this study can be an additional insight for the parties involved in an effort to maximize the role and program of the Guidance and Counseling Service in school.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Disiplin belajar merupakan suatu sikap secara sadar mematuhi aturan yang berlaku dan mampu mengendalikan diri serta bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas yang dimilikinya. Apabila setiap siswa dilembaga sekolah memiliki sikap disiplin maka akan tercipta ketertiban dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pelatihan self managrment dalam meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah dengan adanya pelatihan self management diharapkan dapat membantu siswa memiliki ketrampilan dan pengetahuan terkait self management dan membantu sekolah untuk meningkatkan disiplin belajarnya. Disiplin belajar perlu dilatih dan dikembangkan, oleh karena itu perlu adanya suatu pelatihan untuk meningkatkan disiplin belajar. Pelatihan ini menggunakan teknik self management yang dilakukan oleh seluruh siswa kelas 12 SMK Darul Hikam Bantur yang berjumlah 12 siswa. Desain penelitian mengunakan pre-eksperimen one group pre-test post-test desain. Hasil uji paired sample t-test didapat rata-rata(mean) pre-test sebesar 21,17 dan nilai rata rata (mean) post test 23,17 yang berarti terjadi peningkatan disiplin belajar siswa. Nilai Sig (2-tailed) adalah 0,004<0,05 maka disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan self management berpengaruh terhadap disiplin belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: disiplin belajar siswa; pelatihan; self management

Abstract

Learning success is a goal because of the learning process. To support the success of the learning process, namely motivation, stability, maintaining motivation is an important aspect so that the learning process runs well. However, the problem is that working students are not only required to complete learning assignments in lectures but also at work. So when these tasks come together it can cause physical and emotional fatigue (burnout). This research aims to determine the influence of physical and emotional conditions on working students. The method uses quantitative with a sample of 348 semester 5 to 7 students who underwent the lecture process while working using a purposive sampling technique. Through item validity testing with product moment academic burnout 40 items, and learning motivation 25 items, it was met with a correlation coefficient of  0.30, and found a reliability of 0.909 which means very high. Analysis of the results of the partial significance test shows a sig value of 0.005  0.05, meaning that there is an influence between academic burnout and learning motivation. This shows that academic burnout has an important role in learning motivation. Keys: academic burnout, learning motivation
