Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan media sosial yang digunakan khususnya oleh anak-anak hendaknya diiringi dengan pengetahuan orang tua dalam menanggapi etika berbahasa mereka dalam kehidupan mereka sehari-hari. Etika berbahasa yang perlu mendapat tanggapan atau pengawasan dalam penggunaan media sosial adalah penggunaan SMS dan Chatting dalam hal ini Whatsapp. SMS dan Chatting merupakan salah satu sarana komunikasi yang efektif di era sekarang ini. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk (1) meningkatkan wawasan atau pengetahuan orang tua mengenai penggunaan media sosial, (2) dapat menjaga komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak, (3) meningkatkan kepekaan orang tua dalam mengawasi penggunaan bahasa anak-anak dalam menggunakan media sosial, (4) menjaga etika berbahasa dalam menggunakan media sosial di kehidupan sehari-hari dengan memperbaiki penggunaan bahasa mereka. Kegiatann ini sebagai upaya memberikan wawasan atau pengetahuan pada orang tua dalam menanggapi etika berbahasa anak-anak mereka dalam menggunakan media sosial dengan cara memperbaiki penggunaan bahasa anak-anak mereka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, yanitu mendeskripsikan, mencatat, menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan data yang diperoleh. Hasilnya ditemukan dua puluh enam kelompok interjeksi yang dihunakan pada akun Youtube Malam Malam Net. Penelitian ini juga menemukan kelompok makna interjeksi yaitu interjeksi yang menyatakan peringatan, ekspresi, keheranan,kekhawatiran, terkejut, kepasrahan, pengetatuan baru, pemikiran, dan penegasan. Kata kunci: Kemampuan Orang Tua, Bahasa Pesan Singkat Anak, dan Etika Berbahasa ABSTRACT The development of social media that is used specifically by children must be accompanied by knowledge of parents in responding to the language ethics they use in their daily lives. Language ethics that need to get a response or supervision in the use of social media is the use of SMS and chat in this case Whatsapp. SMS and chat is one of the effective means of communication in the current era. This program aims to (1) improve parents' knowledge or knowledge about the use of social media, (2) can maintain communication between parents and children, (3) increase sensitivity of parents in supervising children's language use in using social media, (4) maintain language ethics in using social media in everyday life by improving the use of their language. This activity is an effort to provide parents with insight or knowledge in responding to the language ethics of their children in using social media by improving their children's language use. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, which describes, records, analyzes and interprets the data obtained. The result was found twenty-six interjection groups that were used on the Youtube Malam Malam Net account. This study also found a group of meanings of interjection namely interjection which stated warning, expression, wonder, worry, surprise, resignation, new unity, thought, and affirmation Keywords: Skill of Parents, Children’ Short Message Language, and Language Ethic

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai moral dan religius pada novel Maysuri karya Nadjib Kartapati Z. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari seratus dua (102) kutipan nilai moral dan enam puluh empat (64) dengan rincian sebagai berikut: (1) Nilai moral pada novel Maysuri karya Nadjib Kartapati Z. ternyata didominasi pertama aspek hubungan manusia dengan orang lain yaitu sebesar 69,6%, artinya ada nilai-nilai hubungan yang tinggi antarmanusia sebagai manifestasi makhluk sosial. Kedua aspek hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sebesar 20,6%, artinya ada keegoan dalam diri manusia. Ketiga aspek manusia dengan alam sebesar 5,9%, artinya nilai kepedulian terhadap alam sangat kurang. Keempat aspek hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat sebesar 3,9%, artinya aspek ini menduduki peringkat paling akhir, ternyata hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat sangat rendah. (2) Sementara nilai religius pada novel Maysuri karya Nadjib Kartapati Z. tersebut ternyata pertama didominasi oleh aspek akhlak yaitu sebesar 50%, artinya akhlak menjadi pondasi utama manusia dalam menjalani kehidupan. Kedua aspek syari’ah dengan 25%, artinya ketaatan dalam beribadah masih banyak ditinggalkan. Ketiga aspek akidah sama dengan aspek syari'ah dengan 25%, artinya kepercayaan terhadap nilia-nilai religius relatif rendah.Kata Kunci : nilai moral, nilai religious, novel Maysuri

Abstract

Television media is one of the challenges we are currently facing  in era 4.0. The challenge that we face through television media are, among other things,how we can choose educational television programs, especially those that still prioritize the use of Indonesian language that is good and correct in its presentation. Ironically, most television programs presented no longer heed the standard Indonesian language. This study aims to find out how teenagers in this case are students can view and choose television programs that they watch every day. Based on these objectives, researchers used descriptive analysis methods through questionnaires. The selected sample was taken as many as 30 student randomly. From the result of the analysts, the data shows that television programs are currently very influential in facing challenge in era 4.0 againts the standard use of Indonesian among teenagers. Today’s television programs are lacking especially in terms of language in the screening so that it becomes a challenge for teenagers so that they are able to maintain the use of goog and correct Indonesian. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study namely, to determine the ability to read students'understanding using Cooperative Integrated Reading learning, while the method used in this studyis descriptive qualitative. The techniques for collecting data are collecting answer sheets whichinclude: 1) finding the main idea (main idea or theme) in the discourse / text, 2) restating thecontents of the discourse/text that has been read, and 3) developing the main idea / main idea orpictures. After conducting the research, the following results were obtained. The reading ability ofstudents, before using Cooperative Integrated Reading learning in the R2A class, was 2403 or 68%(bad), and after using Cooperative Integrated Reading learning, the students' abilities changed,namely 2.403 or 80% 9good), and the ability to read comprehension of students in class R2Bbefore using Cooperative Integrated Reading learning, namely 2.162 or 72% (low). After usingCooperative Integrated Reading, there was a change, namely 2,425 or 81% (baik). So, it is clearthat the ability to read students' understanding using Cooperative Integrated Reading learning isable to provide progress properly and precisely.Key Words: Reading Comprehension, Cooperative Integrated Reading, learning

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the main character in the novel Di Bibirnya Ada Dusta. The method used for research was descriptive qualitative method. To analyze the data, researchers used analytic and dramatic approaches, Semi (in Djojosuroto, 2009: 119). Analytic approach was an approach that describes the character or character by describing the character directly, while the dramatic approach was the approach used by the author in describing the character indirectly. The technique of collecting data in this research is first reading the novel carefully, then marking the parts related to the analytic and dramatic aspects of the main character, the focus of the research, namely the novel Di Bibirnya Ada Dusta by Mira Wijaya, while the became a research sub-focus related to the attitudes and actions of the main characters. After researching it can be concluded, the main character in this novel, namely Ray and Roy. Ray's attitude can be seen from an analytical aspect, which is serious and a liar, while the dramatic attitude depicts Ray's physical athletic, macho, handsome, handsome, and intelligent, while Roy has a physical similar to Ray's when viewed in dramatic terms, namely handsome, macho, intelligent, athletic, and imaginative, while the analytical aspects of Roy's attitude, namely boredom, imaginative, brave, and liar. The results of this study will be used to provide teaching in Indonesian language and literature. With the aim, so students can enhance appreciation, be able to appreciate, and be able to recognize the character of the character that the author has described. Keywords: Character, Novel, and Literature Learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the moral aspect and as a material for learning, while the research method used is descriptive qualitative with literature study, listen, and note down techniques. Then the data analysis technique is carried out by identifying, clarifying, analyzing, and concluding. The data source used is the folklore of Sendang Bulus Jimbung Klaten. After doing the research get the following results. There are eight sentences (8) or 62% which refer to good moral aspects and five (5) or 38% sentences refer to bad (bad) moral aspects. The thirteen (13) sentences found in the story of Sendang Bulus Jimbung will be used as learning materials in coaching the community, which are related to moral educationKeywords: folklore, moral education, and society

Abstract

The ability to think critically and creatively and solve problems related to the lives of young people is important. This awareness needs to be the foundation in curriculum development with the advanced contextual learning. Therefore, educators need to seriously merancanng learning that conclusion is based on the learning process. Critical and creative thinking skills can be developed through learning activities. Capabilities include several things, including: (1) make a decision and issue wisely, (2) generate ideas or creation of creative and innovative, (3) address the ways of thinking that in a hurry, not transparent and narrow, (4 ) improve cognitive and affective aspects, (5) apply knowledge, experience, and skills to think in more practical either inside or outside the school, and (6) to be open to receive and give opinions to make a judgment based on reason and evidence, and dare to give a view and criticism.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe spelling errors in the official letter in ciracas area, East Jakarta written since February ---- November 2017 while the method used in this research, that is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques by collecting six letters of service. After research on six official letters from the "Suci" Islamic Foundation, Al-Hidayah educational institutions, Adhiluhur Mahadika Foundation, Madrasah High School Mahadika, Fathurahman Mosque prosperity Council, and PT PLN in Ciracas region, resulted in erroneous spelling of Indonesian ( EBI) in total amounted to 32 findings relating to the writing of abbreviations amounted to 8 findings or 25%, the composite word writing amounted to 5 findings or 15.62%, the use of punctuation marks 9 findings or 28.12%, writing absorption element 2 findings or 6 , 25%, letter writing amounted to 4 finding or 4.12%, and word writing gamounted to 4 finding or 12.5%. From this finding, it was concluded that the bigges spelling use error in the official letter on the use punctuation is 28, 12%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan gaya bahasa dalam iklan PT Unilever Indonesia pada media televisi dan implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik rekam, simak, dan catat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaan gaya bahasa perbandingan pada iklan PT Unilever Indonesia di media televisi. Jenis gaya bahasa perbandingan yang di temukan ialah 81 penemuan pada iklan PT Unilever Indonesia di media televisi. Pada 81 temuan yang terdapat gaya bahasa perbandingan yang meliputi, 14 (17%) Gaya Bahasa Hiperbola, 5 (6%) Gaya Bahasa Metonimia, 2 (2%) Gaya Bahasa Personifikasi, 12 (15%) Gaya Bahasa Metafora, 12 (15%) Gaya Bahasa Sinekdok, 3 (4%) Gaya Bahasa Alusi, 4 (5%) Gaya Bahasa Asosiasi, 5 (6%) Gaya Bahasa Eufimisme, 6 (7%) Gaya Bahasa Pars Pro Toto, 5 (6%) Gaya Bahasa Epitet, 9 (11%) Gaya Bahasa Eponim, 1 (1%) Gaya Bahasa Hipalase, 3 (4%) Gaya Bahasa Simile. penggunaan gaya bahasa yang dominan yaitu gaya bahasa Hiperbola dengan hasil yaitu penggunaan gaya bahasa sebanyak 14 temuan atau 17% gaya bahasa. Dalam iklan PT Unilever Indonesia tidak perlu melebih-lebihkan kualitas produk yang ditawarkan, jika tidak sesuai dengan aslinya. Dengan itu tujuan utama dari penjualan sebuah produk tidak hanya mengutamakan laris di pasaran tetapi juga harus memberikan informasi yang berguna bagi masyarakat atau konsumen yang ingin membeli produk tersebut.
