The data used is the Cross Section with a sample size of 78. To analyze the authors use the method of multiple linear regression with the program eviews 6.0. partially the results of the real-level regression (α = 10%) capital significantly influence the income of traders with a positive coefficient of 0.615779 and probability 0.0000, labor has a significant effect on trader income with a positive coefficient of 2436698. and probability 0.0000, working hours does not significantly influence the income of traders with a positive coefficient of 515060.5 and a probability of 0.3232. Simultaneously the results of the study indicate that the variables of capital, labor and working hours have a significant effect on merchant income. With a F-Statistical probability value of 0.0000. This means that capital and labor have a positive influence on merchant income, while working hours have no significant effect on merchant income.

Abstract

Gender is one of the important issues and main discussions in North Kalimantan Province. The existence of gender issues is marked by the contribution of women's active role in the economic and political sectors in North Kalimantan which is still relatively low with a gender empowerment index in the range of 50 to 60 percent. Focusing on the role and function of women in society and government in their contribution to the regional economy and politics in North Kalimantan Province, it is necessary to increase the active role of women. The active role and function of women are measured by 3 (three) factors, namely the Women's Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK), the involvement of women in parliament, and women's income contributions so that these three factors are independent variables in the study that will affect gender empowerment which is used as a dependent variable in the study. Developing and balanced gender empowerment can increase the role and position of women's workers in society formally and encourage sustainable development in North Kalimantan Province. This study is a quantitative study with secondary data sourced from the BPS of North Kalimantan Province. The research sample used 5 districts / cities in North Kalimantan Province, namely Malinau Regency, Bulungan Regency, Tana Tidung Regency, Nunukan Regency, Tarakan City. The research method uses a panel method with a period of 2018 to 2022, with a multiple linear regression model of panel data. The alpha value (α) in the study is 5% or equivalent to 0.05 and the results are expected that all independent variables in the study are able to influence the dependent variable, namely the gender empowerment index to increase the active role of women for the position of female workers in the economic and political sectors that are able to encourage sustainable development in North Kalimantan Province in the long term and support SDG's at point 5, namely gender equality. The purpose of this study is to test and analyze the factors that influence the active role of women in the economic and political sectors in North Kalimantan

Objective: In order to maintain a good image in front of investors and other stakeholders, companies carry out impression management. Various factors are considered to influence how impression management practices are carried out by companies. One of these factors is the age of the company. This study aims to explore how the age of the company affects the impression management practices carried out by the company. Method: This study is a quantitative study with a data processing method of regression analysis. The research sample was 100 non-financial companies with the oldest and youngest ages listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023. Impression management practice data was taken from the board of directors' report in the company's annual report and processed using the content analysis method. Results: The results of the study indicate that the age of the company does not affect the impression management practices carried out by the company. Novelty: There has never been any research in Indonesia that uses company age as a factor influencing impression management practices.

Abstract

Human development in Indonesia exhibits significant disparities between regions despite a national increase in the Human Development Index (HDI). This fact indicates the uneven quality of basic services and challenges regarding the effectiveness of local government spending allocation, especially in the education and health sectors. This research aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous influence of Education Spending, Health Spending, and Regional Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) on the HDI. A quantitative method using panel data from 34 Indonesian provinces covering the 2020 to 2024 period was applied. The panel data regression model was utilized to test the causal relationship between the variables after conducting the Chow and Hausman tests. The estimation results indicate that Education Spending has a negative and significant effect on the HDI. This finding is interpreted as inefficiency in the allocation of the education budget, which tends to be absorbed more by routine and administrative expenditures than by direct investment in improving the quality of the learning process. Health Spending was proven to have no significant influence, suggesting governance issues in the implementation of local health programs. Meanwhile, the Regional Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) was found to have a positive and significant effect on the HDI. Simultaneously, all three variables provide a significant contribution to the HDI. Based on these findings, a reformulation of local fiscal policy is required so that the allocation of Education Spending is oriented toward quality improvement, rather than merely increasing budget quantity, along with improving the effectiveness of health spending.
