Abstract

Stunting adalah masalah kurang gizi kronis yang disebabkan oleh asupan gizi yang kurang dalam waktu yang cukup lama akibat pemberian makanan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi. Stunting menjadi permasalahan yang serius pada gizi anak dan banyak terjadi nya kasus stunting di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran posyandu terhadap tindakan pencegahan stunting dan upaya pencegahan stunting di Posyandu Kenanga Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa peran Posyandu Kenanga dalam mencegah stunting diwujudkan dalam bentuk membantu tenaga kesehatan Puskesmas dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan ke masyarakat dan memberikan informasi kesehatan berupa penyuluhan dan konsultasi yang rutin dilaksanakan kepada masyarakat. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan Posyandu Kenanga dalam mencegah stunting berupa pemantauan perkembangan kesehatan ibu hamil, ibu menyusui, dan balita dengan menggunakan program inovasi seperti Gosarmilta (Pergi Sasar Ibu Hamil dan Balita), Jelita (Jemput Ibu Hamil dan Balita), Dapur Sehat Atasi Stunting (DASHAT) dan Balon Edukasi Ibu dan Balita (BADUIT).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Montessori method in improving understanding of mathematical concepts for early childhood especially ages 4-6 years in the city of Banjarmasin. This study uses a quasi-experimental method. Introduction to mathematics in the experimental class uses the Montessori method, while the control class uses conventional methods. Hypothesis test results show that the implementation of the Montessori method has significant effects in improving children's learning outcomes in data and graphic material in the experimental class. The average value of N-Gain in the experimental class was 95.61. The average value of the N-Gain control class is 34.56. The Montessori method is 61.05% more effective in improving children's learning outcomes in material data and graphics than the conventional method. Similar to the results of hypothesis testing on the ABCDE-ABCDE pattern material, the implementation of the Montessori method has a significant effect on improving the learning outcomes of children in the experimental class. The average N-Gain of the experimental class is 87.50. The average value of the control class N-Gain is 31.24. The Montessori Method 56.26% is more effective in improving children's learning outcomes on material patterns than conventional methods.

Abstract

The perception of educators regarding the significance of integrating technology in early childhood learning exerts a considerable influence on the manner in which technology is integrated into learning at early childhood education. Accordingly, the objective of this research is to elucidate the perceptions of early childhood teachers in Banjarmasin with regard to the integration of technology in learning. this research employs a mixed-methods approach. The data was collected through closed and open questionnaires to a sample of 232 teachers. Subsequently, the data was subjected to descriptive and thematic analysis. The findings of this research demonstrate that the findings of the research indicate that the majority of early childhood teachers in Banjarmasin perceive the integration of technology to be of significant importance. It is perceived that the integration of technology offers a range of benefits for teacher’s perception delivery and evaluation of learning. It is believed that technological advancements can assist in developing children's learning styles, facilitate their learning processes and enhance their enthusiasm for learning. Additionally, technology can foster teacher professionalism in the classroom. However, concerns regarding the suitability of technology for children's age and development, the potential negative impact of technology on children's development, teacher competence and the limited facilities in paud institutions present significant challenges.
