Abstract

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, all levels of education starting from kindergarten to university began to use multimedia-based learning media, this was due to the lack of face-to-face learning at all levels of education. This Competitive Community Service Partner is a group of teachers from the Farhan An-Nur Kindergarten Islamic Education Foundation which is located on Jl. Peringgan Hamlet III, Tumpatan Nibung Village, Batang Kuis Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency. This Playgroup (KOBER) has 5 teachers and 52 students. During the Pandemic, schools run teaching and learning activities face to face and alternately, this is because the problem faced by partners is that teachers do not have the ability to create and design interactive multimedia-based learning media by utilizing conference apps, including basic zoom meetings. However, the quality of student learning continues to decline due to the short duration of study. The solutions offered are providing training in designing teaching materials, providing training in making learning videos by utilizing applications that are currently often used by teachers in conducting online learning, namely zoom meeting basic. The method is carried out by means of lectures and practices, with each type of training carried out 4x2 hours of meetings for 1 month. Monitoring and post implementation of competitive community service activities are carried out twice, namely the 1st month and 4th month after the program is completed to ensure the sustainability of the program that has been implemented

Abstract

Partners for this Community Service program are the Pematang Johar souvenir SME Group/Community, which has 20 members. From the results of discussions with SME partners, it was agreed to solve problems: knowledge related to entrepreneurship, printing/screen printing skills, creativity in screen printing processing that has sales power, building various designs, engineering digital devices, how to do services and trading online systems. Based on the explanation above, in dealing with the difficulties faced by the Pematang Johar souvenir SME Group, it was mutually agreed on the need to provide knowledge and motivation to the SME Group about the importance of entrepreneurship for the future. printing/screen printing skills training. Provide training on t-shirt screen printing production techniques in a comprehensive manner. Facilitate the tools needed for training. screen printing processing creativity that has selling power. create various types of designs using computer applications. use of digital tools. and seeking services and commerce online and using social media. Abstract

The more innovation creates, the more inventive, seriously intriguing, and more imaginative limited time media, remembering special media for the type of movement illustrations.  Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif (Polimedia) Medan grounds is the object of exploration. The exploration utilizes a writing concentrate on research strategy, perception of Polimedia, which is a Vocational College as a substance reference. As a professional school, its reverberation isn't apparent at the degree of North Sumatra, a successful limited time media to the local area, particularly amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Polimedia should focus on instructive media content that is appealing to its partners. The motivation behind this review is to deliver movement illustrations activity video media as instructive liveliness media content with level plan procedures with the objective of secondary school/professional youth who will proceed with their schooling to a more explicit level as indicated by proficient interests. The phases of the exploration strategy incorporate writing study, meetings to discover the means of Polimedia in presenting its grounds and dispersing polls to the plan target. Phases of creation include: pre-creation, creation, and after creation. In light of the exploration in the field, it reasoned that the pre-creation stage is the idea of typography and storyboard plan. At the phase of the creation cycle, to be specific Character Building (Drawing), Modeling, Facility Design, Animation and Post-Production Processes including Altering, audio cues, delivering, dominating, distributing recordings

Abstract

Assessment of the performance of the Study Program is a routine activity carried out by the College to continuously improve the quality of its services. One form of assessment of the performance of the study program is the accreditation of the institution. Therefore, it is necessary to build a system that is able to perform automatic assessment of the performance of the study program. In performance assessments are often found the variables used are quantitative and / or qualitative. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) can be viewed as an aggregation operator for variables of quantitative and qualitative value. This Study Program performance assessment system uses the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method and the software development method used, rad (rapid application development).This system produces an efficiency value of the level of performance of all Study Programs at the Politeknik Negeri Media Kreatif in general and the Graphic Design Study Program (Kampus Medan) in particular, whether it is optimal or not, if not then this system aims to provide material consideration of the value of variables / attributes that need to be reduced or added. The data obtained from these measurements can be used as an analysis of the situation of the next program. The way this application works is designed using the php programming language, and the CodeIgniter framework, on the database server section using MySQL

Abstract

The use of two-dimensional (2D) animation as a medium for nconveying messages and information has been widely used. The message or invitation can be applied in various media which are very easy to access in the digital era like now. The theme that the author raises in this animated video is about the benefits of coffee as a media for soft selling promotion for Cafe Killiney Indonesia. This is done with the aim of marketing the Killiney Indonesia brand through educational media and can have a positive impact on the audience. The method used in making this 2-dimensional animation is by conducting observation and research through various reading media such as articles, news, newspapers, and other media information media. Then, the finished 2-dimensional animation will result in a video that is displayed on various social media so that it iseasier for many people to access.

Abstract

This innovative door lock system is designed to make it easier to control security in certain homes or rooms. This system can also be used in government offices and factories to restrict someone from entering a room that just anyone can not enter. In this system, the automatic door lock uses an ID-12 type RFID reader, Tag/Transponder, Arduino UNO R3, 5v Buzzer, Drop Bolt Lock, Relay Module, and LCD. The RFID reader ID-12 is used as a receiver, and the tag/transponder as a transmitter. This system works when the scanned RFID tag/card/transponder sends hexadecimal data to the RFID Reader ID-12, which then, from the RFID Reader, will receive and send data to the Arduino. Then the Arduino UNO will process it by reading the program module (data from the RFID tag/card/transponder) and giving commands to the buzzer to make a sound or notification. The relay module is a connector or breaker for the deadbolt lock or solenoid to open and lock the door and a 16x2 LCD to display the status of the scanned RFID card. On standby, the LCD displays the words "Smart Door Lock Scan Your RFID." When the scanned RFID card is registered and the bolt lock or solenoid is open, the LCDs the words "Welcome". When the scanned RFID card is not registered, and the drop bolt lock or solenoid is not open, then the words "Your Card is Unregistered." The push button is used to reset the Arduino when the Arduino is hanging and when the 16x2 LCDs have an error display

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghadirkan pelatihan yang difokuskan pada penggunaan Google Apps bagi para guru dan siswa di SMA Negeri 13 Medan. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk memberdayakan para pendidik dan peserta didik dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi ini sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran yang efektif dan inovatif. Abstrak ini menyajikan ringkasan dari rencana proyek pelatihan, yang meliputi aspek pendahuluan, metodologi, dan hasil yang diharapkan. Proyek pelatihan akan melibatkan sesi pelatihan intensif dan interaktif, yang akan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan tingkat keterampilan peserta. Dalam sesi pelatihan ini, guru akan diajak untuk mengenal berbagai fitur Google Apps yang dapat digunakan dalam menyusun materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif. Sementara itu, siswa akan diberdayakan untuk menggunakan Google Apps sebagai alat untuk mengoptimalkan partisipasi, kreativitas, dan pemahaman dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode evaluasi akan digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas pelatihan dan dampaknya terhadap partisipan, meliputi kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan, serta pengamatan langsung pada implementasi Google Apps di lingkungan pembelajaran. Hasil dari proyek ini diharapkan akan memberikan wawasan tentang penggunaan Google Apps dalam konteks pendidikan di SMA Negeri 13 Medan dan menjadi referensi bagi upaya pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di sekolah-sekolah lain.

Abstract

This smart door lock system is intended to make it easier to control security in specific homes or rooms, such as government offices or factories, to prevent unauthorized entry into a small space. This automatic door lock system includes an ID-12 RFID reader, tag/transponder, Arduino UNO R3, 5v buzzer, drop bolt lock, relay module, and LCD. This ID-12 RFID reader functions as both a receiver and a transmitter. RFID improves system performance by enhancing information acquisition and remote digital archiving. This research aims to develop RFID-based technology by combining it with current information technology development. Contribute to the advancement of scientifically based digital technology.

Abstract

Promotion media is a means used in supporting promotion activities and the introduction of products or services to the community, so that when doing promotion media can increase the income of a product or service. The purpose of this Scientific Writing is to increase knowledge for people MSMEs of Medan City to create various designs such as banners, pamphlets, logos, and brochures using Adobe Photoshop CS6 Software. From the results of the analysis that the people of MSMEs of Medan City can be given design training to be able to make their own all promotions of products and services using Adobe Photoshop CS6 Software, because their use is easy to understand for beginners and can be developed more optimally according to ability.

Abstract

Abstrak: Helvetia merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki keberagaman tingkat ekonomi. Tim melakukan survei dan wawancara ke salah satu sekolah yang berdekatan dengan Kampus Polimedia Medan. Hasil yang didapatkan berupa tujuh dari sepuluh siswa memilih tidak melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya dikarenakan keterbatasan ekonomi. Para pemuda tersebut membutuhkan bekal sebelum memasuki dunia setelah sekolah, sehingga Tim memberikan Praktik dan Pelatihan  Desain Sablon dan Pemasaran yang dilakukan selama lima hari. Pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan alternatif kepada mereka untuk dapat berkreasi meningkatkan perekonomian melalui sablon. Pendampingan ini dilakukan di kampus Polimedia Medan dan melibatkan Kepala Desa dan Karang Taruna sebagai Mitra dan dibantu oleh 2 mahasiswa Prodi Teknik Grafika dan 5 mahasiswa Prodi Desain Grafis dengan jumlah peserta 25 orang. Evaluasi digunakan dengan metode Observasi. Dari Praktik ini diperoleh para peserta dapat menguasai Desain, Sablon serta Pemasarannya dan dapat langsung terjun ke masyarakat bebas untuk mendirikan usaha masing-masing. Kata Kunci: Desain; Sablon; Pemasaran Abstract: Helvetia is a village that has a diversity of economic levels. The team conducted an interview survey at one of the schools close to the Polimedia Medan Campus. The results obtained were that seven out of ten students chose not to continue to the next level of education due to economic limitations. These young people need provisions before entering the world after school, with this the Team provides Practice and Training in Screen Printing Design and Marketing which is carried out for five days. This assistance aims to provide an alternative for them to be creative in improving the economy through screen printing. This assistance was carried out at the Polimedia Medan campus and involved the Village Head and Karang Taruna as partners and was assisted by 2 students from the Graphic Engineering Study Program and 5 students from the Graphic Design Study Program with a total of 25 participants. Evaluation is used using the Observation method. From this practice, participants can master Design, Screen Printing and Marketing and can immediately enter the free society to set up their own businesses.
