Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan serta kesiapan kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan komitmen dan budaya organisasi kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja guru SMA di Kota Bandar Lampung. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah peserta dapat mengimplementasikan hasil desiminasi penelitian tentang gaya kepemimpinan instruksional sekolah. Metode yang akan digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan dan target di atas adalah (1) Kegiatan ceramah dan diskusi/tanya jawab tentang pentingnya pemahaman kepemimpinan instruksional, (2) Penyajian materi kepemimpinaan pendidikan khususnya kepemimpinan instruksional, komitmen organisasai, budaya organisasai, kepuasan kerja guru. (3) Memberikan pelatihan dengan menyajikan materi melalui tatap muka langsung mengenai kepemimpinan instruksional, (4) Memberikan pelatihan kepemimpinaan instruksional (5) melakukan pretest dan postest. Hasil dari pretest yaitu sebesar 80% dalam kategori belum memahami, akan tetapi pada hasil postest diperoleh skor rata-rata yaitu 90% meningkat dalam kategori baik. sehingga menunjukkan peserta didik dapat memahami materi pelatihan kepemimpinan instruksional bagi kepala sekolah SMA se Bandar Lampung dan diharapkan kepala sekolah dapat mengimplementasikan gaya kepemimpinan instruksional untuk meningkatkan komitmen dan budaya organisasi dan kepuasan kerja guru.   Kata kunci: Pelatihan, Kepemimpinan Instruksional  ABSTRACT The purpose of this service activity is to provide understanding and knowledge, as well as to prepare the instructional leadership of school principals in enhancing the commitment and organizational culture of school principals and the job satisfaction of high school teachers in Bandar Lampung City. The specific target to be achieved is that participants can implement the results of the research dissemination on school instructional leadership styles. The methods that will be used to achieve the above goals and targets are (1) lectures and discussions/Q&A sessions about the importance of understanding instructional leadership, (2) presentation of material on educational leadership, specifically instructional leadership, organizational commitment, organizational culture, and teacher job satisfaction, (3) providing training by presenting material through face-to-face meetings on instructional leadership, (4) offering training on instructional leadership, and (5) conducting pretests and posttests. The result of the pretest was 80% in the category of not understanding, but in the posttest, an average score of 90% was obtained, indicating an improvement in the good category. This shows that the students can understand the training material on instructional leadership for high school principals in Bandar Lampung, and it is hoped that the principals can implement instructional leadership styles to enhance commitment, organizational culture, and teacher job satisfaction.  Keywords: Training, Instructional Leadership

Abstract

Islamic-Based Leadership in Education: A Literature Review. From an Islamic perspective, leadership issues receive considerable attention, because in Islam leadership is considered the most important instrument for the realization of an ideal society. Objectives: This article aims to examine the urgency of leadership in Islam, the concept of Islamic-based leadership in education and the implementation of Islamic-based leadership in education from various literature. Methods: This article uses a literature review method to find answers to scientific questions posed to help achieve the article's objectives by searching databases from Google Scholar and ScienceDirect with literature for the last 10 years regarding Islamic-based leadership, resulting in 27 international and national articles. Findings: The research results show that leadership is an important element in the core of Islam. Islam has provided special guidelines for selecting leaders and guiding leaders so that they can carry out their mandate to achieve the blessing of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala. Islamic leadership is leadership based on the Al-Qur’an and hadith. In its implementation in education, Islamic leadership emulates the characteristics of the Prophet Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam with the main characteristics, namely: shiddiq, amanah, tabligh and fathanah. Islamic leadership in education integrates moral, spiritual, and professional growth, aligning worldly goals with worship to achieve holistic development. Conclusion: Islamic leadership is a concept rooted in the principles of the Qur'an and Sunnah, emulating the character of Prophet Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam. This leadership approach focuses not only on achieving organizational goals but also on seeking the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Islamic leadership in education includes three key dimensions: as a parent (care, commitment, responsibility), an educator (teaching with knowledge and understanding), and a leader (guiding with values and wisdom). Keywords: islamic leadership, islamic-based leadership in education, islamic perspective of leadership, prophetic leadership.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v14.i3.2024142
