Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that has a close relationship with everyday human life. The meaning of the existence of mathematics is still rarely felt directly by students so that mathematics becomes abstract and tends to be full of meaningless numbers. In fact, in fact mathematics has many benefits in everyday life and can be more easily reasoned and understood and memorable if we have the sincerity to understand. Culture-based learning is a strategy for creating learning environments and designing learning experiences that integrate culture as part of the learning process. Through ethnomathematics, learning will be more memorable because it introduces local traditions and cultures that are still recognized and practiced by certain community groups. The type of research used by the author in this study is descriptive qualitative. The study was conducted to explore information about ethnomathematics based on Lampung culture using sticks to increase the cultural love of elementary school teacher education students. Technique The instrument used in this study is a non-test technique. The results showed that ethnomathematical learning can increase student interest by a percentage of 92% and can be used as an alternative to help students learn multiplication material in mathematics and can increase students' sense of cultural love.

Abstract

The huge potential of the Kelumbayan coastal area is a treasure trove of local wisdom that promises to improve the population's economy and can be used as a source of learning based on local wisdom, it should be an important part of the student learning process. STEM is an interdisciplinary approach to learning in which students use science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in real contexts that connect schools, the world of work, and the global world that aims to build the literacy of the younger generation in these fields. The application of STEM combined with local wisdom as a learning resource for students is a new support for innovative learning for educators and students in Kelumbayan. The service was carried out in the Kelumbayan sub-district by presenting representatives of educators spread across several schools in seven villages. The service is carried out by applying the pretest first and the posttest at the end of the service program. Elementary school teachers in Kelumbayan District together have an understanding of the STEM learning approach and other innovative learning models that teach students, besides the simulation of teaching practice using this approach has provided enlightenment for teachers in carrying out classroom learning.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan serta kesiapan kepemimpinan instruksional kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan komitmen dan budaya organisasi kepala sekolah dan kepuasan kerja guru SMA di Kota Bandar Lampung. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah peserta dapat mengimplementasikan hasil desiminasi penelitian tentang gaya kepemimpinan instruksional sekolah. Metode yang akan digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan dan target di atas adalah (1) Kegiatan ceramah dan diskusi/tanya jawab tentang pentingnya pemahaman kepemimpinan instruksional, (2) Penyajian materi kepemimpinaan pendidikan khususnya kepemimpinan instruksional, komitmen organisasai, budaya organisasai, kepuasan kerja guru. (3) Memberikan pelatihan dengan menyajikan materi melalui tatap muka langsung mengenai kepemimpinan instruksional, (4) Memberikan pelatihan kepemimpinaan instruksional (5) melakukan pretest dan postest. Hasil dari pretest yaitu sebesar 80% dalam kategori belum memahami, akan tetapi pada hasil postest diperoleh skor rata-rata yaitu 90% meningkat dalam kategori baik. sehingga menunjukkan peserta didik dapat memahami materi pelatihan kepemimpinan instruksional bagi kepala sekolah SMA se Bandar Lampung dan diharapkan kepala sekolah dapat mengimplementasikan gaya kepemimpinan instruksional untuk meningkatkan komitmen dan budaya organisasi dan kepuasan kerja guru.   Kata kunci: Pelatihan, Kepemimpinan Instruksional  ABSTRACT The purpose of this service activity is to provide understanding and knowledge, as well as to prepare the instructional leadership of school principals in enhancing the commitment and organizational culture of school principals and the job satisfaction of high school teachers in Bandar Lampung City. The specific target to be achieved is that participants can implement the results of the research dissemination on school instructional leadership styles. The methods that will be used to achieve the above goals and targets are (1) lectures and discussions/Q&A sessions about the importance of understanding instructional leadership, (2) presentation of material on educational leadership, specifically instructional leadership, organizational commitment, organizational culture, and teacher job satisfaction, (3) providing training by presenting material through face-to-face meetings on instructional leadership, (4) offering training on instructional leadership, and (5) conducting pretests and posttests. The result of the pretest was 80% in the category of not understanding, but in the posttest, an average score of 90% was obtained, indicating an improvement in the good category. This shows that the students can understand the training material on instructional leadership for high school principals in Bandar Lampung, and it is hoped that the principals can implement instructional leadership styles to enhance commitment, organizational culture, and teacher job satisfaction.  Keywords: Training, Instructional Leadership

Abstract

ABSTRAK KWT Bungsu Cantik merupakan salah satu kelompok wanita tani yang berada di kelurahan Penengahan Raya, Kota Bandar Lampung memiliki potensi sumberdaya manusia (SDM) yang dapat memiliki kontribusi terhadap keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui kegiatan pengolahan sampah. Namun saat ini kegiatan pengolahan sampah masih belum dikelola secara optimal karena masih kurangnya pemahaman mengenai pemilahan sampah, pembuatan sampah organik dan pemasaran produk kompos. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian adalah membantu meningkatkan semangat dan kemampuan mitra untuk melakukan pemilahan sampah yang masih bisa dimanfaatkan kembali, membantu mengurangi permasalahan sampah yang terdapat di lingkungan mitra, dan memberikan pengetahuan kepada mitra mengenai aplikasi digital penjualan produk olahan dari sampah. Pelaksanaan PKM terdiri dari beberapa kegiatan. Kegiatan pertama adalah penyuluhan Penyuluhan Pemilahan Sampah Dan Pembuatan Kompos. Kedua, kegiatan Pemanfaatan Aplikasi Digital Dalam Pemasaran Produk. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan peserta setelah dilakukan PKM yang artinya kegiatan ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi peserta sehingga peserta memahami pentingnya pengolahan sampah dan dapat membuat pupuk kompos yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk pupuk pada tanaman perkarangan, kebun maupun untuk dijual. Peserta juga dapat menggunakan aplikasi Jual Beli Sampah sehingga memudahkan dalam pemasaran produk. Kata Kunci: Aplikasi Digital, Kelompok Wanita Tani, Kompos, Sampah  ABSTRACT KWT Bungsu Cantik is a group of women farmers in the Penengahan Raya sub-district, Bandar Lampung City, which has the potential for human resources (HR) who can contribute to environmental goals through waste processing activities. However, these activities are currently not managed optimally due to a lack of understanding regarding waste sorting, organic waste processing, and compost product marketing. The service activities aim to increase partner’s enthusiasm and ability to short reusable waste, reduce waste problems in the partner environment, and provide knowledge to partners regarding digital applications for marketing waste-processed products. The implementation of PKM consists of several activities. The first is education on Waste Sorting and Compost Making. The second focuses on using digital applications for product marketing. There was an increase in participants' knowledge after PKM was carried out, indicating this program benefits by enhancing their understanding of waste processing and compost production that can be used as fertilizer for yard plants, gardens, or sold. Additionally, participants are now able to use a Trash Buying and Selling application to facilitate product marketing.  Keywords: Compost, Digital Applications, Waste, Women's Farming Groups

Abstract

Learning in schools still emphasizes basic level thinking skills. Learning still has not improved the higher-order thinking skills of students, and often uses teacher-centered learning. This causes the low creative thinking ability of students. This study aims to analyze the effect of project-based learning models on students' creative thinking skills. This research method is a quasi-experimental group design with a non-equivalent control group design used. The population is 50 people and the sample used is class IV A and IV B students, the sample is determined by non-probability sampling technique. Data were collected using pretest, posttest, and observation techniques. The results of this study are that there is a significant effect on project-based learning on the creative thinking skills of fourth grade elementary school students. Through the Project Based Learning model, students learn from their experiences and then apply them in everyday life. This learning model is expected to be able to improve students' creative thinking skills to construct their knowledge by being actively involved in complex learning processes.

Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini adalah keterampilan bertanya dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 6 Gedong Air masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery learning terhadap keterampilan bertanya dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Negerib6 Gedong Air. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode pre-eksperimental design menggunakan bentuk one-group pretest-posttest design. Populasi berjumlah 70 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 36 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan ada pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery learning terhadap keterampilan bertanya peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri, ada pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri, dan ada pengaruh model pembelajaran guided discovery learning terhadap keterampilan bertanya dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 6 Gedong Air Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2019/2020

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pop-up book terhadap keterampilan membaca dan menulis peserta didik kelas I SD Negeri 6 Gedong Air Kota Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari kelas IA, IB dan IC dengan  jumlah 80 peserta didik. Sampel terdiri dari kelas IA dan IC dengan jumlah 52 peserta didik. Kelas yang menjadi kelas eksprimen adalah kelas A, sedangkan kelas C menjadi kelas kontrol. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu tes dan non tes. Hasil analisis penelitian menggunakan regriesi linier sederhana menunjukkan rhitung < rtabel, (0,845 > 0,381) pada keterampilan membaca dan (0,869 > 0,381) pada keterampilan menulis. Sehingga ada pengaruh positif dalam penggunaan media pop-up book terhadap keterampilan membaca dan menulis peserta didik Kelas I SD Negeri 6 Gedong Air Kota Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2019/2020

Abstract

Dunia pendidikan menempatkan nilai sebagai salah satu bagian dari pendidikan afektif, yakni tingkat paling bawah (menerima pernyataan tentang nilai-nilai) melalui tingkat merespon terhadap nilai-nilai kemudian menghargainya, merasa komitmen terhadap nilai-nilai itu dan akhirnya mengintregasikan sistem nilai sebagai tingkat tertinggi dalam perkembangan. Pendidikan nilai merupakan salah satu bagian dalam pendidikan karakter yang telah lama digaungkan oleh pemerintah sebagai kiblat pendidikan nasional. Namun persoalannya saat ini adalah bagaimana cara mengajarkannya agar peserta didik terbiasa berperilaku sesuai dengan nilai-nilai yang dimaksudkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sikap nasionalisme peserta didik sekolah dasar di Kota Bandar Lampung berkenaan dengan1) jenis sekolah, 2) jenis kelamin dan 3) jarak sekolah ke pusat kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitik untuk membuat penjelasan secara sistematis, faktual, dan akurat mengenai fakta-fakta dan sifat-sifat populasi atau daerah tertentu. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa peserta didik telah mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila dengan baik di lingkungan sekolah

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and students' mathematics learning outcomes, to determine a positive and significant relationship between self-regulation in learning and students' mathematics learning outcomes, to determine a positive and significant relationship between efficacy and self-regulation in learning with students' mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research after the fact correlation. The population is 221 students and the sample are 70 students using the technique probability sampling. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, documentation studies and questionnaires while data analysis used correlation product moment and multiple correlation. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between efficacy and self-regulation with students' mathematics learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of 0.7322 at the "Strong'' level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on students' reading comprehension skills. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The study population was all students at the elementary school where the study was conducted, with a sample of 58 students selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out through tests and non-tests. Data analysis used prerequisite tests, including the homogeneity test, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and the Levene test. To test the effectiveness of the learning model, parametric tests were used: the independent sample t-test and simple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS version 27. The results of the study indicate that the application of the CIRC learning model has a positive influence on students' reading comprehension skills and produces a significant difference in reading comprehension skills between the experimental class and the control class. This model is effective because it involves integrated reading, writing, and discussion activities, thus helping students understand the content of the reading better. Learning with this model also encourages students to be active in finding important information and drawing conclusions from the reading. These findings indicate that the CIRC model can be an alternative learning method to improve reading comprehension skills in Indonesian subjects
