Abstract

Online learning is an alternative to learning during a pandemic. This learning is done by utilizing technology and information. Constraints in online learning are taken into consideration so that the expected competencies are achieved. These constraints are also referred to as factors. This study aims to determine the factors contributing to learning achievement during online learning during the pandemic. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Kalibawang and SMA N 2 Ngaglik, with 90 respondents as the subject of the research trial taken randomly. The instrument used is a questionnaire and the results of math test scores. This research uses the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The purpose of PLS-SEM is to confirm how well the variables that have been measured can represent the formed factors. The steps taken in conducting analysis using PLS-SEM include: (1) designing an analytical model by making path diagrams; (2) identifying the model; (3) estimating parameters; (4) drawing conclusions. Parameter estimation is divided into two parts: the outer model (measurement model) and the inner model (structural model). The results showed that learning media when online learning had a significant effect on learning achievement. The effect given is 83.3% which has a high effect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe students' critical thinking skills using the open ended approach and using the Scientific approach and to determine the effect of the open ended learning model on students' critical thinking skills. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design with a population taken from class VIII A and B of SMP Masyithoh Kroya, Cilacap Regency. This research was conducted in September 2024. This study uses a quantitative research method. Data collection uses test, observation and documentation techniques. Validity uses professional judgment techniques. The data analysis technique uses the Mann-Whitney test after the analysis prerequisite test includes the normality test of distribution and the homogeneity test of variance. Based on the analysis carried out by the researcher, it can be concluded that the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class after applying the open ended approach model got an average score of 36.62, and the control class using the Scientific approach got an average score of 28.39. The use of the open-ended approach model has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills, this is proven by the results of the Mann-Whitney test which shows a high Asymp value. Sig.(2-tailed) = 0.000, which is less than the significance level of 0.05, from these results it is concluded that the Pythagorean open-ended approach has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills in mathematics.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika berperan penting dalam penyelesaian masalah sehari-hari. Kepercayaan ini atau self efficacy menjadi faktor penting dalam penyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Sewon. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII C dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 22 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan peneliitian korelasional dengan instrumen tes dan non-tes. Instrument tes digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Instrument non-tes berupa angket digunakan untuk mengukur self efficacy siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi dengan menggunakan SPSS diketahui persamaan regresi Y= 6,034 + 0,677X, persamaan ini linear dan signifikan. Pada table coefisien regresi peroleh sebesar 0,027 dimana itu maka ditolak dan diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara self efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Sewon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan literasi numerasi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita aljabar. di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping Kabupaten Bantul Kelas VII. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ialah siswa kelas VII A di SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Gamping Kabupaten Bantul. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara. Teknik analisis yang dipakai yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa dengan nilai tes kemampuan literasi numerasi tertinggi dapat memenuhi 3 indikator, lalu siswa dengan nilai tes kemampuan literasi numerasi kategori sedang dapat memenuhi 2 indikator, sedangkan siswa dengan nilai tes kemampuan literasi numerasi terendah hanya memenuhi 1 indikator saja.
