Abstract

This research focuses on Joko Widodo's and KH Maruf Amin's campaign in the 2019 presidential election. The purpose of this study is to find out how Joko Widodo imaged himself in his political campaign adverts, and how ideas and meanings are articulated in political advertisements. The study uses a descriptive qualitative research with Roland Barthes's Semiotic analysis approach. The results showed that Joko Widodo was represented as a simple leader, populist, and close to a low society, and could bring Indonesia forward and prosper through some of his programs are Kartu Prakerja or the Pre-Employment Card, Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah or Indonesia Smart College Card, and Kartu Sembako Murah or Cheap Basic Food Cards.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract As an educational institution, pesantren certainly have unique values compared to other educational institutions. This article aims to describe the meaning and implementation of the value philosophy of santri at Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien Islamic Boarding School (PPHM) Ngunut Tulungagung in social life. The author takes the subject of Ngunut boarding school students who have lived in society. This article uses a qualitative approach in the form of phenomenology. The data collection methods used include observation, interviews and documentation. Researchers use descriptive analysis which aims to explain aspects relevant to the observed phenomenon. Furthermore, researchers use triangulation techniques to test the validity of the data obtained. The results of this study that: Ngunut hut students interpret value philosophy as uswah or exemplary value, discipline value, akhlakul karimah value and togetherness value. The implementation of the value philosophy of the Ngunut boarding school students in community life by being tolerant, morally good, independent in meeting the economic needs of the family, being uswah in the community and the next generation of religious leaders in the community. Abstract

Pemahaman masyarakat terkait bacaan gharib saktah masih belum bisa dikatakan utuh menyeluruh. Sehingga perlu adanya bimbingan bacaan saktah melalui pengabdian kepada masyarakat, berbasis metode Service Learning (SL) untuk memperbaiki pemahaman tersebut. Service-Learning atau SL merupakan aktivitas yang melibatkan pengalaman praktis, pembelajaran akademik serta keterlibatan masyarakat. Adapun masyarakat yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota Jama’ah Yasin Tahlil Putri “al-Istighosah”, Desa Salakkembang, Kalidawir, Tulungagung. Sehingga mereka dapat mendapatkan manfaat langsung dari PkM tersebut. Hasil pertama dari PkM ini adalah, anggota jama’ah dapat memahami bacaan gharib saktah secara teoritis. Hasil kedua adalah, anggota jama’ah mampu mempraktikkan bacaan gharib saktah sesuai dengan tuntunan. Kata Kunci: Bacaan Gharib, Saktah, al-Istighosah
