Abstract

Colorful Tourism Village is located in Jodipan Village, Blimbing District, Malang City. Kampung Jodipan consisting of RT 06, 07, 09 RW 02, is a slum village created on 4 September 2016 due to KKN students at Muhammadiyah Malang University, a Tourism Village with economic value for the surrounding Community. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The selection of subjects in the research used a purposive sampling technique. The data collection methods used start from observation, interviews and documentation. Based on reality data in the field and theoretical analysis using social action from Max Weber, what is the process carried out in carrying out management starting from who is involved, what form of contribution, and the form of management. Contributions from this management are collected to the management for the needs of the people of Jodipan CTV, MalangCity, one of which is in the form of manager’s salary, health, care, compensation for orphans, compensation for people who die, compensation for old widows, distribution of basic necessities. The results of the research can be concluded regarding the contribution of the management of the CTV in Malang City in the field of improving the community’s economy, where with the existence of the CTV, many people who were previously unemployed become more numerous. Now he has opened his own business, selling food and drinks, selling tickets, and also being a parking attendant.

Abstract

Kekerasan seksual menjadi salah satu kasus yang membutuhkan perhatian khusus dalam menanganinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Struktural Fungsional dari Talcott Parsons yang mana mengkaji sistem di masyarakat memiliki fungsi. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran UPTD PPA dalam menangani kasus kekerasan seksual, mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dihadapi, serta memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas layanan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, diharapkan mampu menjawab persoalan mengenai kasus kekerasan seksual khususnya pada anak dan perempuan sekaligus advokasi yang dilakukan pihak terkait pasca kasus. pengabdian ini menyimpulkan bahwa UPTD PPA memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dalam menangani kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap anak dan perempuan di Kabupaten Jember. Implementasi rekomendasi yang diberikan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas layanan dan memberikan perlindungan optimal bagi korban.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic a number of entertainment venues in the Kenjeran area were temporarily closed, so the number of tourists visiting the area decreased. The temporary closure resulted in fish processing traders to make marketing innovations through the development of social networks during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of the study is to find out more about the development of social networks in female fish processing traders in the Kenjeran area during the COVID-19 pandemic. Manuel Castells' network society theory was used as a research foundation. Research methods use qualitative research with interpretive approaches. Set social research on the development of social networks through digital media conducted by women traders processed fish to develop marketing in the COVID-19 pandemic. The study subjects were female traders processed fish in the Kenjeran area. Determination of informants by snowball technique. Data is obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques use data transcripts, data categorization, and conclusion withdrawal. The study found that digital media can be utilized by female fish processing traders to build and strengthen social networks during the COVID-19 pandemic. The existence of limitations in outdoor movement restricts female traders processing fish to interact physically so as to utilize digital media to interact virtually. Digital media has an important role in maintaining fish processing MSMEs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
