Abstract

Varietas padi lokal merupakan salah satu sumber daya genetik yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pemuliaan tanaman, disukai oleh masyarakat dan unggul dalam hal adaptasi terhadap lingkungan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui penampilan karakter agronomi galur F4 hasil persilangan Pandan Ungu/Kambang//Roti (PU/K//R) pada lahan sawah tadah hujan dan memperoleh galur yang menunjukkan karakter agronomi yang sesuai kriteria seleksi serta mengetahui pengaruh faktor lingkungan terhadap karakter agronomi yang diamati. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan sawah tadah hujan Desa Karang Tunggal, Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan tiga ulangan, terdiri atas 25 galur sebagai perlakuan. Data dianalisis memakai sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan DMRT pada taraf 5%. Nilai heritabilitas dihitung dengan metode nilai heritabilitas dalam arti luas (h2). Parameter yang diamati meliputi: tinggi tanaman saat panen, jumlah anakan total, jumlah anakan produktif, jumlah gabah total per malai, jumlah gabah isi per malai, berat gabah per rumpun, dan berat 1.000 butir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan penampilan karakter agronomi tanaman padi hasil persilangan silang puncak Pandan Ungu/Kambang//Roti (PU/K//R) pada lahan sawah tadah hujan. Berdasarkan karakter agronomi dan nilai heritabilitas (h2 ˃ 0,50) diperoleh 16 galur yang berpotensi sebagai galur harapan, yaitu galur 14, 73, 88, 90, 96, 99, 104, 200, 251, 275, 287, 303, 306, 321, 373, dan 385. Ada tujuh karakter dengan nilai heritabilitas tinggi dan satu dengan nilai heritabilitas sedang.

Abstract

Multiculturalism is an understanding that emphasizes equality and equality of local cultures without ignoring the rights and existence of other cultures, which is important for us to understand together in the life of a multicultural society like Indonesia. Multicultural education can be formulated as a form of awareness about cultural diversity, human rights as well as reducing or eliminating all types of prejudice or prejudice to build a just and advanced society. Multicultural education can also be interpreted as a strategy to develop awareness of a person's pride in their nation. The aim of this research is to find out the implementation of multicultural learning to build the character of Madrasah students. In this research the research method used is a qualitative approach and descriptive analytical method. Data collection was carried out in 3 ways, namely, observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that multicultural education can shape students' character starting by providing lessons about politeness and humanity, mutual respect, cooperation and tolerance, not discriminating, and so on.

Abstract

The productivity of cayenne pepper plants has decreased. This is due to the availability of nutrients on cultivated land decreasing so that the use of rubber plantation waste can be used as an ingredient in making liquid organic fertilizer and biochar to increase the growth and yield of cayenne pepper plants. This study was conducted to determine the interaction of giving liquid organic fertilizer of rubber seeds with rubber seed shell biochar, getting the best concentration of liquid organic fertilizer of rubber seeds and getting the best dose of biochar of rubber seed shells. The research was conducted from December 2022 to June 2023 at Sumber Rejo Village, Sekolaq Darat District, West Kutai Regency. The research used a Randomized Block Design with two factors and five replications. The first factor was rubber seed liquid organic fertilizer and the second factor was rubber seed shell biochar. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance and if it showed a significant effect, it was continued by using Least Significant Different (LSD) at the 5% level. The treatment of rubber seed liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 200 mL L-1 solution gives the fastest first flower out age of 39.20 days after transplanting and gives the fastest first fruit formation age of 44.60 days after transplanting.The treatment of rubber seed liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 300 mL L-1 solution gave the second harvest with the highest number of 23.55 fruits and gave the best fresh weight of cayenne pepper which was 37.30 g. The results showed that the interaction of the application of liquid organic fertilizer of rubber seeds with rubber seed shell biochar gave a significantly different effect on all observation parameters. liquid organic fertilizer of rubber seeds gave a significantly different effect on the observation parameters of the age of the first flower out, the age of the first fruit formed, the number of second harvest and the weight of fresh fruit of the second harvest. The use of rubber seed shell biochar gives a significantly different effect on all observation parameters. Keywords: rubber seed shell biochar, cayenne pepper, rubber seed liquid organic fertilizer.
