Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kecepatan reaksi kaki, kekuatan tugnkai dan keseimbangan dengan kemampuan lari 60 meter. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan tiga variabel bebas yaitu kecepatan reaksi kaki, kekuatan tugnkai dan keseimbangan dengan satu variabel terikat yaitu kemampuan lari 60 meter. Populasi penelitan ini adalah siswa SMAN I Gowa Secara random sampling dipilih sampel sebanyak 30 siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis koefisien korelasi pada taraf signifikan 0,05, dengan menggunakan bantuan komputer melalui program SPSS.  Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil: (1) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kecepatan reaksi kaki dengan kemampuan lari 60 meter siswa SMAN I Gowa  dengan nilai r sebesar 0,732 (2) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kekuatan tungkai dengan kemampuan lari 60 meter Siswa SMAN I Gowa  dengan nilai r sebesar 0,736  (3) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara keseimbangan dengan kemampuan lari 60 meter siswa SMAN I Gowa dengan nilai r sebesar 0,713 (3) Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kecepatan reaksi kaki, kekuatan tugnkai dan keseimbangan secara bersama-sama dengan kemampuan lari 60 meter siswa SMAN I Gowa  dengan nilai (R) sebesar 0,876  dan nilai Fhitung (F) sebesar 28,699.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between balance, agility and eye-foot coordination on dribbling ability in football games. The sample in this study was the Tancung Putra Wajo Regency team, totalling 30 people with a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is the correlation coefficient. The research results show a significant relationship between balance and the ability to dribble in a football game, with a value of r = 0,747. There is a substantial relationship between agility and the ability to dribble in a football game with a value of r = 0,766, there is a significant relationship between eye-foot coordination and the ability to dribble in a football game with a value of r = 0,702, and there is a substantial relationship of balance, agility and eye-foot coordination together on the ability to dribble in a football game with a value of R = 0,825.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of physical education in fostering positive character development among elementary school students, focusing on collaboration, discipline, responsibility, and respect. The research addresses a gap in understanding the broader impact of physical education beyond physical fitness, emphasizing its potential to shape students' social and moral values. The study was conducted at SD Negeri Mamajang 3 Makassar using a qualitative design, involving interviews with teachers and students, classroom observations, and data analysis. A total of 30 students participated in the study, representing diverse demographic backgrounds. The findings reveal that physical education significantly contributes to character development. Approximately 60% of students demonstrated a high level of collaboration, while 67% showed strong discipline in adhering to instructions and maintaining punctuality. Responsibility was evident in 40% of students who actively assumed leadership roles, and respect was the most dominant character, with 73% of students displaying respectful behavior toward peers. These results highlight the effectiveness of structured physical education programs in promoting positive character traits through teamwork-based and leadership-oriented activities. The study concludes that physical education is a critical tool for holistic student development, providing both physical and character-building benefits. However, the research is limited to a single school and primarily relies on qualitative methods, which may restrict the generalizability of the findings. Future research should explore longitudinal studies and include larger, more diverse samples to strengthen the validity and applicability of the results. Policymakers and educators are encouraged to integrate character-building strategies into physical education curricula to enhance student development comprehensively.

Abstract

This study aims to determine; (1) Is there a relationship between eye-hand coordination and smash ability; (2) Is there a relationship between arm muscle explosive power and smash ability; (3) Is there a relationship between arm muscle strength and smash ability; (4) Is there a simultaneous relationship between eye-hand coordination, arm muscle explosive power, arm muscle strength and smash ability. The population of this study was all male students of SMKN 1 Makassar. The sample used was 30 people. The sampling method used a simple random sampling technique where the sample was taken randomly. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study showed that; (1) There is a relationship between eye-hand coordination and smash ability with a value of r = 0.770 (P <α = 0.05). (2) There is a relationship between arm muscle explosive power and smash ability with a value of r = 0.830 (P <α = 0.05). (3) There is a relationship between arm muscle strength and smash ability with an r value of 0.803 (P < α = 0.05). (4) There is a significant relationship between hand-eye coordination, arm muscle explosive power, arm muscle strength and smash ability with an R value of 0.736 or 73.60%.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini untuk memberikan pemahaman dan sebagai penambah wawasan kepada masyarakat mengenai peranan pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga di era revolusi industri 4.0. Ketika masyarakat sangat bergelut dengan teknologi di dunia yang membawa perubahan signifikan di berbagai bidang kehidupan manusia, termasuk ekonomi, dunia kerja, bahkan gaya hidup. Pendidikan jasmani dan olahraga telah menunjukkan kontribusinya terhadap pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang unggul sejak era prasejarah hingga era RI 4.0. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan circuit training terhadap kemampuan rangkaian gerak senam ritmik alat simpai pada atlet PERSANI Kota Makassar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental model one group pretest–posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 15 atlet yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes keterampilan rangkaian gerak yang mencakup lima aspek penilaian, yaitu kontinuitas gerak, koordinasi tubuh dengan alat, ketepatan ritme, keseimbangan, dan kualitas eksekusi gerakan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial dengan uji t berpasangan (paired sample t-test) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 72,93 pada pretest menjadi 82,40 pada posttest, dengan selisih peningkatan sebesar 9,47 poin. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai t = -26,05 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Nilai effect size (Cohen’s d = 2,38) menunjukkan pengaruh yang sangat besar secara praktis. Selain itu, hasil N-Gain berada pada kategori sedang, yang mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan kemampuan yang konsisten setelah perlakuan diberikan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan circuit training berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan rangkaian gerak senam ritmik alat simpai. Metode ini direkomendasikan sebagai bagian dari program latihan terintegrasi dalam pembinaan atlet senam ritmik. The Effect of Circuit Training on Movement Sequence Ability in Rhythmic Gymnastics Hoop Performance among PERSANI Makassar Athletes Abstract This study aimed to analyze the effect of circuit training on the movement sequence ability in rhythmic gymnastics with the hoop apparatus among PERSANI Makassar City athletes. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pretest–posttest model. The sample consisted of 15 athletes selected through total sampling. The research instrument was a movement sequence performance test covering five assessment aspects: movement continuity, body–apparatus coordination, rhythm accuracy, balance, and quality of movement execution. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with a paired sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed an increase in the mean score from 72.93 in the pretest to 82.40 in the posttest, with a mean improvement of 9.47 points. Hypothesis testing revealed a t-value of -26.05 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. The effect size (Cohen’s d = 2.38) demonstrated a very large practical impact. In addition, the N-Gain result was categorized as moderate, indicating a consistent improvement in performance following the intervention. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that circuit training has a significant effect on improving movement sequence ability in rhythmic gymnastics with the hoop apparatus. This method is recommended as part of an integrated training program in rhythmic gymnastics athlete development.
