Abstract

This research is intended to obtain the steps of a parallelogram frame mosaic design with a Pinwheel tile pattern with geometric motifs. The design of the basic shape of the mosaic on the interior of a parallelogram which is then filled with several geometric motifs in the basic shape of the mosaic is the method used in this study. The results obtained from this study are the basic modeling procedure for the mosaic with a parallelogram frame. the first step, setting the second repetition (iteration) pinwheel tile. the second step, dividing the field on the frame into several basic shapes of mosaics. then for the procedure for filling the basic shape of the geometric patterned mosaic with the following steps. First, determine the geometric motifs that match the selected mosaic shapes. Secondly, fill the motif into each basic form. Thirdly, fill colour on the background.

Abstract

Chairs are needed by humans to do some work, especially students and office workers. The parts contained in the chair are the chair legs, chair legs eats and chair backs. The purpose of this study is to obtain variations in the shape of office chairs using Bezier curves and incorporate the results of deformation of space geometric objects. In modeling this chair, it is divided into several stages, namely first, building the chair leg components. This chair leg component consists of chair wheels, connecting two wheels with tube deformation, modeling the chair leg branch components and modeling chair leg supports. Second, namely the model of the chair leg seat. Chair leg seat consists of regular hexagon prism deformation and regular quadrangle prism deformation. The third is the modelization of the back of the chair by using a rectangular prism model. The result of combining several components of the chair using one modeling axis produces 36 chair models, with special provisions, namely that the seat support parts can only be joined using a tube.

Abstract

The tissue box is a place to store tissues to make them look neat and protect the tissues from dirt and dust. Tissue boxes are often used in households, restaurants and also as room decorations. Therefore, the shapes of tissue boxes that are being developed are increasingly varied according to consumer interests. The tissue box consists of three main parts, namely the cover, body and base of the box. This research was carried out by developing variations in the shape of the tissue box components using the Bezier curve, the Hermit curve and the results of the deformation of geometric objects. The deformation techniques used are rotation, dilation, and curve interpolation. Tissue box modeling processes are divided into four stages. The first, modeling the tissue box by dividing into three models, namely model A, model B and model C. The second, determining the size of the tissue box components based on the model. The third, modeling tissue box components. Finally, visualizing the results of the tissue box model by combining the components so that a variety of tissue box models are produced.

Abstract

Bidding Box is used as a place for bridge bid cards with various models. The Bidding Box is made using a technique resulting from the Bezier curves and linear interpolations. This study aims to produce a procedure for how to design various relics in the Bidding Box. This research method is divided into several stages. First, build some basic objects as constituent components of the Bidding Box from beam and rectangular. Abstract

Drinking water glass shelves are used as containers that can hold drinking water with a growing model. Drinking water glass shelves is made using thecniques which produced from deformation of geometric objects and Bezier curves. This research aims to made produces procedures for designing buffers, main shelves and more varied reliefs with one axis and three modeling axes. This research method divided into several stages. First, construct some basic objects as constituent components of drinking water glass shelves from deformation of octagonal, tube, beams, and the ball. Second, set some basic objects of the component of drinking water glass shelves two types of modeling axis. Third, arrange program using Maple 13. The results of this research obtained the procedure for designing various forms of constituent components of drinking water glass shelves from the basic object of a octagonal, tube, beams, and the ball. Furthermore, the procedure for assembling the components of drinking water glass from the first procedure result on two types of modeling axis.

Abstract

A coffee grinder is a tool for grinding coffee beans into coffee grounds. A manual coffee grinder consists of three parts, namely the container, the body, and the swivel. In this study, a manual coffee grinder was modeled by combining Bezier curves, Hermit curves and tube deformation results. Manual coffee grinder modeling processes are divided into four stages. The first, modeling the manual coffee grinder by dividing into two models, namely model A and model B. The second, determining the size of the manual coffee grinder components based on the model. The third, modeling manual coffee grinder components. Finally, combine the ingredients to produce a complete and varied manual coffee grinder. The result of this study is a manual coffee grinder component procedure that varies with the deformation technique. The deformation techniques used are dilation and translation. Abstract

A cake stand is a place for serving cakes to beautify the cake display. The cake stand consists of three parts: the base, the support, and the plate. This study developed a multilevel cake stand model by combining several geometric objects using the deformation method. Modeling the cake stands is divided into two stages. The first is to model the components of a cake stand by combining several geometric objects and Bezier curves. The geometric items used are tubes, rectangular prisms, and hexagonal prisms. Bezier curves used are curves of degrees two, three, four, and five. Second, combining the modeling results of each component of the cake stand on two types of cake stand modeling axes, namely one axis and three axes. This study produces 10,584 cake stand models on one modeling axis and three modeling axes. The cake stand model acquired can be visualized utilize Maple 18 software support on a computer. Abstract

A tassel is a curtain strap that functions as a curtain hook when the curtain is opened. The Tassel components generally consist of the head, main body, and bottom, usually equipped with tassel accents. This research aims to construct the geometric shape of the tassel mathematically. In this study, the tassel modeling is divided into two stages. Firstly, modeling the components of a tassel by combining some of the deformation results of geometric objects and Bezier curves. The geometrical objects used are tubes, toruses, hexagonal prisms, and spheres. The Bezier curves used are of degrees two, three, and four. Secondly, combining the modeling results of each deformed tassel component. The tassel component is combined by dividing the z-axis into three parts, namely the head, body, and bottom. The tassel model can be visualized using Maple 18 software.Keywords: Bezier, Curve, Deformation, Prism, Tassel.AbstrakTassel adalah tali gorden yang berfungsi sebagai pengait gorden saat gorden dibuka. Komponen tassel secara umum terdiri dari bagian kepala, bagian badan, dan bagian bawah yang biasanya dilengkapi dengan aksen rumbai- rumbai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membangun bentuk geometri dari tassel secara matematis. Pemodelan tassel ini dibagi menjadi dua tahap. Tahap pertama adalah memodelkan komponen tassel dengan menggabungkan beberapa hasil deformasi benda geometri dan kurva Bezier. Benda geometri yang digunakan adalah tabung, torus, prisma segi sepuluh, dan bola. Kurva Bezier yang digunakan adalah kurva Bezier derajat dua, tiga, dan empat. Tahap kedua adalah menggabungkan hasil pemodelan dari masing-masing komponen deformasi tassel. Komponen tassel digabungkan dengan membagi sumbu z menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu bagian kepala, badan, dan bawah. Model tassel yang diperoleh divisualisasikan menggunakan software Maple 18.

Abstract

The wedding delivery box is a place to store various kinds of wedding gifts. The delivery box consists of two parts, namely the body and the cover. This study aims to obtain variations in the design of the marriage delivery box from the deformation of the cylinder and prism. The deformation technique used is interpolation and Bezier curve. The delivery box modeling process is divided into three stages. First, determine the data in the form of the size of the cylinder and prism according to the original size of one of the delivery box models. The second deforms the geometrical objects of space. Finally, combine each component of the delivery box. A symmetrical and varied delivery box model is obtained.Keywords: Cylinder, Deformation, Prism, Wedding Box. AbstrakKotak hantaran pernikahan merupakan tempat untuk menyimpan berbagai macam barang-barang seserahan pernikahan. Kotak hantaran terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu bagian badan dan bagian penutup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan variasi desain kotak hantaran pernikahan dari hasil deformasi tabung dan prisma. Teknik deformasi yang digunakan yaitu interpolasi dan kurva Bezier. Proses pemodelan kotak hantaran dibagi menjadi tiga tahap. Pertama menetapkan data berupa ukuran tabung dan prisma sesuai dengan ukuran asli salah satu model kotak hantaran. Kedua mendeformasi benda-benda geometri ruang. Terakhir, menggabungkan setiap komponen kotak hantaran. Diperoleh model kotak hantaran yang simetris dan bervariatif.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. The purpose of this study is to obtain a hanging light design from a combination of several components using Maple. The results show that the construction procedure for the hanging light components can be carried out in three stages. First, determining some data for cylinder, sphere, torus, cone, and Bezier curve. Second, dividing the hanging light into several components, then creating a procedure for constructing each component using the concepts of deformation, transformation, and Bezier curve. Third, combining all components on the modeling axis and compiling a program using a computer.Keywords: Deformation, Bezier curve, hanging light, transformation ABSTRAK. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan desain lampu gantung dari gabungan beberapa komponen menggunakan program Maple. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa prosedur pengkonstruksian komponen lampu gantung dapat dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan. Pertama, menetapkan beberapa data untuk tabung, bola, torus, kerucut, dan kurva Bezier. Kedua, membagi lampu gantung menjadi beberapa komponen, kemudian membuat prosedur untuk mengkonstruksi masing-masing komponen menggunakan konsep deformasi, transformasi, dan kurva Bezier. Ketiga, menggabungkan seluruh komponen pada sumbu pemodelan dan menyusun program menggunakan komputer.Kata Kunci: Deformasi, kurva Bezier, lampu gantung, transformasi
