Abstract

Penelitian ini tujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana Media Jeruk Nipis mampu meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif sains anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelompok B Raudhatul Athfal Al Munawaroh Cikarang Barat Bekasi.             Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan di Raudhatul Athfal Al Munawaroh Cikarang Barat Bekasi. Tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan dalam setiap siklus.             Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan adanya peningkatan  pada kemampuan kognitf sains anak usia 5-6 tahun setelah diberikan tindakan sebanyak dua siklus. Peningkatan kemampuan anak terlihat dari data hasil persentase disetiap siklus, hasil persentase di pra siklus sebesar  27%. Persentase pra siklus rendah karena belum diberikannya kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media jeruk nipis. Hasil persentase pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan sebesar 58,75%, hal ini karena sudah menggunakan media jeruk nipis, namun belum secara maksimal menguasainya. Dan hasil persentase pada siklus II menjadi sebesar 86,25% karena anak sudah terbiasa dengan media jeruk nipis  yaitu mampu melakukan percobaan sendiri dan dapat menyimpulkan hasil percobaannya.             Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah pemilihan media yang tepat oleh masyarakat dan sekolah dalam pengajaran kognitif sains akan sangat memberikan hasil yang optimal dalam kemampuan kognitif sains anak usia dini. Sehingga pembelajaran kognitif sains untuk tingkat selanjutkan akan lebih mudah dan tidak ada lagi pembelajaran yang kaku (hanya menggunakan LKA saja) kepada anak usia dini dalam pembelajaran percobaan/eksplorasi, khususnya dalam pengajaran kognitif sains.

Abstract

This study aims to stimulate the fine motor skills of grade B children of Aisyiyah 01 Leuwiliang Kindergarten through collage learning activities. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR). This study consists of two cycles and each cycle is carried out five meetings. The subjects of this study were 12 children aged 5-6 years consisting of 12 boys. Data collection techniques consisted of observation and documentation. The instruments used in this study were daily learning implementation plans (RPPH), field notes. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively, qualitatively and quantitatively. The indicator of success of this study is if the calculation of the overall percentage of children shows 71% or more, then the child has increased fine motor skills. The results of the research that have been conducted by researchers show that stimulation of children's fine motor skills through collage learning activities has a positive change. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of the average value at the end of the cycle. Pre-cycle children showed motor skills of 40%, namely the level of development achievement has not developed. While in cycle 1 it reached 59% and in cycle 2 it reached 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of parents in accompanying children in dealing with gadget use among Early Childhood Education (ECE) students and its impact on psychosocial development. The research employed a qualitative method with a narrative inquiry approach based on a case study at an Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institution in Parung, Bogor. The participants of this study included parents and students at PAUD Parung, Bogor. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The findings indicate that the intensity of gadget use among early childhood students in PAUD Parung, Bogor is relatively high, with usage exceeding one hour per day. The applications most frequently accessed by the children were YouTube and games. Furthermore, the study revealed that some children experienced psychosocial disturbances, such as sadness, crying, anger, drastic mood swings (e.g., sudden tantrums), social withdrawal, and a loss of interest in friends and activities they usually enjoy. The role of parents in managing gadget use among early childhood students at PAUD Parung, Bogor involved four (4) preventive efforts: Monitoring and accompanying children, Discussing the impacts and benefits of gadget use with children, Setting time limits for gadget use, and Providing alternative activities (distraction).   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran yang dilakukan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak dalam menghadapi penggunaan gawai pada Anak Usia Dini yang berdampak pada Psikososial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, pendekatan naratif inquiri berbasis studi kasus pada Lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Parung Bogor. Sedangkan partisipan dalam penelitian ini mencakup orang tua dan peserta didik di PAUD Parung Bogor. Data diperoleh dengan melalui observasi , tehnik wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa Penggunaan Gawai pada Anak usia dini di PAUD Parung Bogor intensitasnya tergolong cukup tinggi yaitu diatas satu jam penggunaan, aplikasi yang dibuka anak selama menggunakan gawai adalah Youtube dan Game. Selain penelitian ini juga menghasilkan temuan bahwasannya beberapa anak mengalami gangguan psikososial. Seperti sedih, menangis, marah, suasana hati berubah drastis seperti tiba-tiba mengamuk, menarik diri dari lingkungan sosial dan hilangnya minat pada teman dan kegiatan yang biasanya mereka nikmati. Peran orang tua dalam menghadapi penggunaan gawai pada anak usia dini yang ditemukan di PAUD Parung Bogor, terdapat 4 (empat) upaya preventif, yaitu: (1) pengawasan dan pendampingan anak, (2) Diskusi dampak dan manfaat gawai dengan anak, (3) penetapan batas waktu penggunaan gawai, dan (4) adalah pengalihan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of a lack of parental attention on early childhood emotional regulation, including children’s ability to manage, express, and stabilize their emotions. Phenomena observed in the school environment indicate that children who receive insufficient attention at home tend to display explosive emotional responses when their desires are not fulfilled. Using an explanatory quantitative correlational method, this study involved 20 children aged 4–6 years and 20 parents from an early childhood education institution (ECE) in Bogor Regency. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires to measure parental attention and behavioral observation instruments to assess children’s emotional regulation. Descriptive statistical analysis showed that the average level of parental attention was 13.35, while the average score of children’s emotional regulation was 16.2. Correlation analysis yielded a coefficient of r = 0.727 (p < .001), indicating a statistically significant strong positive relationship between the two variables. These findings suggest that higher levels of parental attention are directly associated with better emotional regulation abilities in children. Conversely, minimal parental involvement causes children to lose emotional guidance, thereby hindering their social development and behavioral stability.
