Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out how the process of implementing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based learning and the factors that influence the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based learning. The subjects in this study were seven teachers consisting of six class teachers and one subject teacher. The research method used is qualitative research method with data collection through interviews, observations and documentation studies. Data analysis used thematic analysis. The results of the data obtained show that the application of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based learning at SDIT Student One Islamic School includes five stages, namely analyzing SKL/KI/KD, determining learning models and determining learning strategies, facilitating students' thinking processes, formulating lesson plans, determining learning assessment and evaluation. Factors that influence HOTS learning at SDIT Student One Islamic School consist of supporting and inhibiting factors.

Abstract

Background. This research was motivated by the researcher's academic anxiety, namely the existence of a gap in the implementation of deradicalization. The deradicalization currently being carried out by the government, whether through the BNPT, Densus 88 AT Polri, the Directorate General of Corrections or community groups is not well organized, especially regarding the role of institutions, materials (clarification of several points of Islamic teachings that are often misinterpreted) and delivery approaches. This shows the importance of a more in-depth study of how to manage the deradicalization of terrorism based on basic Islamic teachings so that it can run in a programmed, targeted and sustainable manner. Purpose. This research aims to describe, analyze and discover the concept of implementation and management of terrorism deradicalization. This research answers two main problems, namely first how to conceptualize deradicalization and second how to implement deradicalization management. Method. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach using grounded theory designs. The data sources are former terrorism convicts, perpetrators of acts of terrorism, deradicalization implementers from both government agencies and community groups.    Results. The results of this research show that from an Islamic perspective, the concept of deradicalization refers to the An-Nahl letter. 16: 119 which consists of four pillars, namely recognition as a mistake, a statement or pledge not to do it again or repent, an apology to the affected party, and a commitment to improvement. In the management review, the deradicalization program has not been managed optimally based on management functions (planning, organizing, actuating and controlling). Conclusion. It is hoped that this research will be useful for deradicalization stakeholders so that the deradicalization process can be managed in a more programmed, targeted and sustainable manner. This research can also be useful for academic circles for the development of knowledge, insight and further research.

Abstract

Lembaga Pendidikan merupakan salah satu target penguasaan kelompok radikal terorisme. Bagi kelompok ini, lembaga pendidikan merupakan wahana yang sangat strategis untuk menyebarkan paham sekaligus merekrut anggota dan simpatisan baru baik dari kalangan guru maupun siswa. Secara ideologis kelompok ini menganggap bahwa hanya pahamnyalah yang bena dan yang lain salah, karena itu harus dihancurkan. Atas dasar itulah mereka melakukan kekerasan termasuk pembunuhan dan bom bunuh diri. Inilah yang berbahaya dari paham ini.   Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pelatihan bagi para tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan untuk membekali mereka agar  mereka memiliki daya imun yang kuat sehingga bisa mencegah dan menangkal perkembangan paham ini di sekolah. Pelatihan anti radikalisme dan terorisme ini dilakukan dengan metode diskusi dan problem solving. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 39 peserta, semunya belum pernah mengikuti pelatihan tentang pencegahan terorisme di lembaga pendidikan. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil pree test, dengan 15 pertanyaan, rata-rata menjawab dengan benar dengan skor 76.38 atau sekitar 50.92%. jika dikomparasikan dengan  hasil pada post test, mendapat skor 112, 08 atau 74,72%. Ini berarti terdapat kenaikan skor 35,7 atau 23.8 %. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman terkait radikalisme dan terorisme di sekolah. Dengan demikian, diharapkan para tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan dapat lebih waspada dan mampu mencegah transformasi paham dan gerakan radikalisme dan terorisme di SD Labschool FIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Untuk menunjang kemampuan tersebut, para peserta dibekali dengan Buku Pendidikan Anti Radikalisme dan Terorisme; Panduan Praktis Cegah Teroris di Sekolah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in Civics subjects which are considered boring and difficult because they are theoretical and rote. Apart from that, in the learning process teachers only teach with lectures without using innovative learning models and do not encourage students to think critically. So students don't understand the concept and are only concerned with the results rather than the process. This causes understanding of concepts in PPKn to be low and less meaningful. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence and measure the magnitude of the influence of using the RADEC learning model on understanding the concept of Civics in class V of SD Negeri Ciputat 06. This research is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental method. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling. The sample for this research was 30 students in class 5A and 30 students in class 5B. Data collection used test techniques in the form of essay questions totaling 10 pretest questions and 10 posttest questions. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence on the test results between the experimental class and the control class, as evidenced by the results of independent sample t test calculations with sig (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05 and tcount 10.059 > ttable 2.0017, so Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The magnitude of this influence is 2.32. This is proven by the results of the effect size test calculation using the Cohen's d formula and large categories. So, it can be concluded that the use of the RADEC learning model has an influence on students' understanding of Civics learning concepts with a large influence of 2.32 in the large category. This learning model can be an effective and interesting alternative to increase students' understanding of the material and interest in learning.

Abstract

Budaya bermain game online menjadi gaya hidup banyak digemari oleh masyarakat terutama generasi muda bahkan anak-anak usia sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh kecanduan bermain game online terhadap kesiapan belajar peserta didik Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Populasi berjumlah 48 siswa yang terbagi dua kelas (kelas V 22 siswa dan kelas VI 26 siswa). Seluruh populasi tersebut dijadikan sampel penelitian.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket sebagai sumber utama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggunakan uji korelasi product moment dan uji koefisien determinasi sebagai pengganti uji f diketahui bahwa ada hubungan positif game online dengan kesiapan belajar, dimana rxy = 0,711 dengan signifikan p=0,000 < 0,050. Artinya hipotesis yang diajukan ada hubungan game online dengan kesiapan belajar. Dengan asumsi semakin rendah game online maka semakin rendah pula kesiapan belajar, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dinyatakan diterima. Koefisien determinasi (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas X dengan variabel terikat Y adalah sebesar r2 = 0,505, ini menunjukkan bahwa game online berkontribusi terhadap kesiapan belajar sebesar 50,5%. Masih terdapat 49,5% yang dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kecanduan bermain game online terhadap kesiapan belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to explore Islamic Boarding Schools in Indonesia that has undergone significant transformation in the era of globalization, where they not only function as traditional religious educational institutions but also begin to integrate formal education systems into their curriculum. This integration aims to provide students with a deep understanding of religion without neglecting academic skills relevant to the development of the times. This study focuses on the analysis of collaboration between Islamic boarding schools and formal educational institutions, which is expected to improve the quality of students in terms of academics and character. The learning model that combines religious education with formal education has produced a competent generation both academically and spiritually. This study delves deeper into the strategy of curriculum integration, time management, and communication between Islamic boarding schools and formal schools. The results show that this model not only improves students' academic abilities but also strengthens their character and spirituality so that they can compete in the global world without losing Islamic values. Therefore, this study offers strategic recommendations to optimize curriculum integration between Islamic boarding schools and formal educational institutions and develop a more inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable education model to face the challenges of globalization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa setelah pandemi akibat kebiasaan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) yang dilakukan di rumah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran guru dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar IPA, metode yang digunakan, serta hambatan dan solusi yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Islam Nurul Azhar, Cipadu, dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Responden terdiri dari dua guru dan enam siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki berbagai peran dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, yaitu sebagai demonstrator, pengelola kelas, mediator, fasilitator, motivator, dan evaluator. Metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan meliputi penugasan, ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi-presentasi, tanya jawab, latihan, dan simulasi. Dalam proses pembelajaran, guru menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti perbedaan tingkat motivasi siswa, kebosanan, kantuk, sering ke toilet, kurangnya minat belajar, bermain game, mengobrol, menurunnya semangat saat sakit, suasana kelas yang berisik, serta frustrasi yang dialami siswa. Untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut, guru menerapkan berbagai strategi, seperti bermain kuis, bernyanyi, ice breaking, membangun komunikasi dan kedekatan emosional dengan siswa, serta memberikan motivasi dan pujian. Penelitian ini memberikan manfaat bagi guru dalam memahami strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pasca-pandemi.
