Abstract

A conducive learning situation is related to the quality of student learning. The creation of a conducive class will prevent students from feeling bored, physical fatigue and also the creation of a conducive class will provide motivation and comfort for students' learning. Learning space is the place where the teaching and learning process takes place, the place in question can be indoors, outdoors, or virtual space. Learning space is a facility that creates a learning atmosphere and supports the creation of an innovative learning ecosystem. There are four ideas that form the basis for developing future learning spaces, namely: learning by doing, context-based, interaction, and learning locations. To realize this design, a space-technology-cognitive concept was designed that combines aspects of knowledge, aspects of space or the learning environment and the use of technology as one of the smart learning designs in the future. Utilization of learning space as a learning resource center can be carried out by referring to five functions, namely: the function of developing instructional systems; learning media service function; learning media development function; training function and administrative function.

Abstract

Learning is a dynamic process involving interaction among students, educators, and learning resources within a structured environment aimed at enhancing understanding and competence. Beyond knowledge transfer, educators play a crucial role in preparing students for learning by assessing situational readiness and optimizing learning conditions. Post-learning, evaluations are imperative to gauge goal attainment and guide improvement strategies, employing measurement and assessment techniques. Student capabilities and teaching efficacy benefit from evaluation, with assessments extending to norm-referenced (PAN) and criterion-referenced (PAK) methodologies. PAN compares individual achievements against group norms, facilitating performance ranking within a cohort. Conversely, PAK utilizes predetermined benchmarks to determine academic success. This literature review synthesizes prior studies on PAN and PAK methodologies. Noteworthy studies include processing techniques discussed by Alfath and Raharjo (2019), implementation insights by Aliyam, Dayanti, and Mukaffa (2021), and completeness criteria exploration by Pangastuti and Munfa'ati (2018). The review employs a descriptive analysis approach, utilizing educational and curriculum literature to inform its findings. The study concludes that PAN offers comparative insights into student performance within a group context, while PAK sets clear benchmarks for academic achievement. This study underscores the significance of evaluation in educational settings, advocating for effective evaluation tools to optimize learning strategies and enhance student engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to answer the phenomena that arise among students and prospective students of the IAIN Parepare Arabic Language Education study program who experience anxiety about future job prospects. This research seeks to answer this anxiety by conducting an alumni tracking study to find out the profile of graduates and the contribution of PBA alumni in the world of work. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research which aims to explore in depth the portrait of PBA study program alumni. In this case, the information collected is: 1) alumni work, 2) suitability with graduate profiles, and 3) alumni waiting period after graduating from IAIN Parepare. This research was conducted on PBA study program alumni in 2018, totaling 25 people. The results of this study indicate that 80% or around 20 alumni are already working and the remaining 20% ​​choose not to work. Then of the 20 alumni, 75% of them work as education practitioners, and 10% work as creative economy actors. While another 15% work as educational practitioners as well as creative economy actors. So it can be concluded that PBA study program has high potential as a forum to prepare alumni for the world of work, and job opportunities for PBA alumni are very high as evidenced by the presentation of graduates who are active in the world of work.

Abstract

This study was conducted in UMKM Matanari Sibedi Village In Sigi Marawola District. To see how this study aims to alternative strategy the determination of the cost of goods manufactured that can be used by UMKM Matanari to support an increase in income and how  UMKM comparing the income level if using the cost of goods manufactured by alternative calculation and preliminary model. The method of analysis of the data used is descriptive by adopting a case study.The result of this study the alternative calculation joint cost can hel increase the income in excess of this method can allocate the imposition of the cost of all costs is properly used, the reckoning also visible differences and the impostion of a fee so that the costs of goods production early model having lower than in the alternative calculation.

Abstract

Mastery of qawaid (Arabic grammar) is a fundamental component in Arabic language learning, particularly in supporting students’ writing skills. This study aims to examine the influence of qawaid mastery on students’ guided writing skills (insya' muwajjah) at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) YMPI Rappang. Guided writing refers to the ability to compose structured texts based on specific instructions or frameworks provided by the teacher. Using an ex post facto approach, the study involved a population of 113 eleventh-grade students, with a sample of 53 students selected through probability sampling using proportionate stratified random techniques. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through tests measuring students’ mastery of qawaid and their guided writing skills. Data analysis employed product-moment correlation and simple linear regression techniques. The results showed that qawaid mastery had a positive and significant influence on students' guided writing skills, with a coefficient value of 0.536. These findings indicate that strengthening Arabic grammar mastery contributes significantly to the development of guided writing abilities. Therefore, the integration of qawaid learning needs to be emphasized in the Arabic curriculum to support the optimal achievement of students’ writing competencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the perception of users towards the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) and the obstacles faced by users in using the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) at the UPT Library of Makassar State University. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach carried out by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation to obtain data related to the research. The informants in this study consisted of 3 librarians and 7 users. The results of this study show that OPAC-INLISLite at the UPT Library of Makassar State University is good, but users still do not understand how to operate the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) as a tool for searching library materials, due to the lack of socialization from librarians so that many users directly visit the bookshelf to get the collection they need. The obstacles faced by users are that the network is not supportive causes the search for library materials to be hampered, the user's lack of understanding of search techniques so that the collection sought is limited and librarians have not fully input books into the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). Abstrak Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi pemustaka terhadap Online Public Access Cataloge (OPAC) serta kendala yang di hadapi oleh pemustaka dalam menggunakan Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan data-data yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 pustakawan dan 7 pemustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa OPAC-INLISLite di UPT Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Makassar sudah bagus, akan tetapi pemustaka masih kurang memahami cara mengoperasikan Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) sebagai alat penelusuran bahan pustaka, karena kurangnya sosialisasi dari pustakawan sehingga banyak pemustaka yang langsung mengunjungi ke rak buku untuk mendapatkan koleksi yang mereka butuhkan. Adapun kendala yang di hadapi pemustaka yaitu jaringan yang kurang mendukung menyebabkan penelusuran bahan pustaka terhambat, kurangnya pemahaman pemustaka tentang teknik penelusuran sehingga koleksi yang dicari terbatas dan pustakawan belum sepenuhnya menginput buku ke dalam Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC).

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis. TB treatment is carried out for a minimum of 6 months, namely the intensive phase of 2 months and the advanced phase of 4 months. Antituberculosis Drugs (ATD) consist of 4 types of drugs including Isoniazid (H), Rifampicin (R), Pyrazinamide (Z), and Ethambutol (E). Evaluation of drug use is carried out to ensure that the drug has been used appropriately, safely and effectively.This research is a descriptive observational study using retrospective patient medical record data. This study aims to determine the rationality of tuberculosis treatment in tuberculosis patients at the outpatient installation of Hospital X in Bontang city period January 2021 - June 2023. The most patient characteristics obtained from 88 patients were aged 56-65 years (26%), body weight 38-54 kg (45%), male gender (56%), working patients (52%), living in West Bontang District (27%), and having comorbidities (58%). The most use of OAT was given Fixed Dose Combination (FDC)-Intermittent Dose (84%). The rationality of using antituberculosis drugs based on the right category of indications is 100%, right drug is 98%, right dose is 97%, and right duration of drug administration is 95%.

Abstract

Bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu bahasa yang dianggap paling sulit untuk dipahami dan dipelajari. Sehingga hal ini tentu saja menjadi sebuah tantangan bagi para pendidik untuk menarik minat untuk belajar bahasa Arab serta mematahkan anggapan tersebut. Fenomena tersebut dapat dilihat pada peserta didik Madrasah Aliyah DDI Takkalasi, yang merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam yang terletak di kabupaten Barru. Munculnya fonomena penurunan tingkat prestasi serta kurangnya minat peserta didik dalam pelajaran bahasa Arab. Kegiatan intensifikasi pembinaan bahasa Arab ini dapat menjadi wadah pengenalan atau sosialisasi pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Pembinaan ini dilakukan selama delapan hari yang dilaksanakan dari pagi hingga sore hari, dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 30 peserta didik. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan tahapan pretest, dan hasil dari pretest tersebut merupakan dasar dalam pengelompokan peserta ketika kegiatan berlangsung, serta menjadi pembanding dengan hasil posttest di akhir kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa semua peserta yang terdiri atas 30 orang terampil berbicara dan menjadi motivator bagi temannya yang tidak terlibat dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Bentuk evaluasi dilakukan secara lisan dengan memberikan kesempatan kepada setiap peserta untuk menceritakan aktifitas sehari-hari mereka dalam bahasa Arab, serta mampu membuat kalimat sederhana yang sering digunakan di sekolah maupun madrasah.
