Abstract

Background: Preschoolers aged 3-6 years are experiencing a crucial period that lays the foundation for their future development. Handwashing is the process of vigorously rubbing both surfaces of the hands together using an appropriate substance and rinsing with water. Purpose: To eliminate as many microorganisms as possible, it also reveals that handwashing (also considered hand hygiene) is essential. Method: Descriptive research using a case study method. Results: The effect of the singing method on handwashing skills in preschool-aged children was found to have an impact on children's abilities before and after being exposed to the singing method. Results: The effect of the singing method on handwashing skills in preschool-aged children was found to have an impact on children's abilities before and after being exposed to the singing method. Conclusion: Before the implementation, Subjects 1 and 2 were unable to perform the six steps of handwashing correctly. After five days of implementation, changes were observed in Subjects 1 and 2's ability to perform the six steps of handwashing correctly without assistance. Recommendation: Health workers should provide counseling on the implementation of the singing method to improve handwashing skills in preschool-aged children. It is hoped that respondents will understand the benefits of implementing the health education activities provided.   Keywords: Handwashing skills; Literature; Preschool-aged children; Singing method.   Pendahuluan: Anak usia prasekolah adalah anak yang berusia 3-6 tahun dimana anak mengalami masa yang sangat penting sebagai pondasi atau dasar untuk perkembangan masa depannya. Mencuci tangan adalah proses menggosok kedua permukaan tangan dengan kuat secara bersamaan menggunakan zat yang sesuai dan dibilas dengan air. Tujuan: Untuk menghilangkan mikroorganisme sebanyak mungkin juga mengungkapkan bahwa cuci tangan (juga dianggap hygiene tangan) Metode: Penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasil: Metode bernyanyi terhadap kemampuan mencuci tangan pada anak usia pra sekolah ditemukan adanya kemampuan anak sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penerapan metode bernyanyi terhadap kemampuan mencuci tangan. Simpulan: Sebelum diberikan penerapan pada subjek 1 dan subjek 2 belum mampu melakukan 6 langkah cara mencuci tangan dengan baik dan benar. Setelah diberikan penerapan selama 5 hari di dapatkan perubahan kemapuan subjek 1 dan 2 mampu melakukan 6 langkah cara mencuci tangan dengan baik dan benar tanpa bantuan orang lain. Saran: Tenaga kesehatan mampu memberikan penyuluhan tentang penerapan metode bernyanyi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mencuci tangan pada anak usia pra sekolah, diharapkan responden memahami manfaat penerapan kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan yang diberikan.   Kata Kunci: Anak Usia Pra Sekolah Kepustakaan; Kemampuan Mencuci Tangan; Metode Bernyanyi.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik dan perkembangan kognitif anak. Pencegahan stunting sejak remaja, khususnya pada siswi, sangat penting mengingat peran mereka sebagai calon ibu. Promosi kesehatan menggunakan media video animasi dinilai sebagai metode yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest, dengan sampel yang dipilih dengan teknik random sampling berjumlah 66 siswi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswi setelah diberikan promosi kesehatan menggunakan video animasi, dengan hasil nilai p-value = 0,002 (< 0,005) yang berati Ha diterima. Sebelum intervensi, sebagian besar siswi memiliki pengetahuan kurang (57,5%), dan setelah intervensi meningkat menjadi 93,3% berpengetahuan baik. Kesimpulan promosi kesehatan menggunakan media video animasi efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan siswi tentang pencegahan stunting. Kata kunci      : Stunting, Video Animasi, Promosi Kesehatan, Pengetahuan, RemajaKepustakaan  : 65 (2020-2025) ABSTRACTStunting is a chronic nutritional problem that affects the physical growth and cognitive development of children. Prevention of stunting since adolescence, especially in female students, is very important considering their role as future mothers. Health promotion using animated video media is considered an effective method in increasing adolescent knowledge. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach, with a sample selected by random sampling technique totaling 66 female students. Data were collected using a knowledge questionnaire before and after the intervention, then analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed an increase in the knowledge of schoolgirls after being given health promotion using animated videos, with the results of the p-value = 0.002 (<0.005) which means Ha is accepted. Before the intervention, most of the schoolgirls had poor knowledge (57.5%), and after the intervention it increased to 93.3% with good knowledge. Abstract

Kegel exercises are an effective non-pharmacological method of healing perineal wounds, helping to accelerate the healing of perineal wounds after childbirth caused by tears in the vagina and perineum. Slow healing of perineal wounds can lead to complications such as bleeding and even death in postpartum women. This community service activity aims to increase postpartum mothers' knowledge about Kegel exercises. The implementation method involves interactive counseling, direct demonstrations of how to perform Kegel exercises, and videos. The results of the activity showed an increase in knowledge, a change in attitude, and an improvement in the condition of the wounds of postpartum mothers after being given education on Kegel exercises. It is hoped that the community health center can continue to provide clear and regular information and education about the effects of Kegel exercises on the healing of perineal wounds for other postpartum mothers.

Abstract

Introduction: Anemia is a health problem that is often experienced by adolescent girls, in Indonesia it reaches more than 30%. Anemia is characterized by low hemoglobin levels caused by insufficient intake of iron and other nutrients which, if prolonged for a long time, can lead to Chronic Energy Deficiency, and significantly affect the physical health, cognitive function, and overall quality of life of adolescent girls. This condition can lead to a variety of complications including learning disabilities, decreased physical fitness, and increased susceptibility to infections. Objective: to analyze the relationship between nutritional intake and anemia with the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency in adolescent girls. Methods: This study used a cross sectional design conducted in the dormitory of the Baitul Hikmah College of Health Sciences, a total of 92 subjects were purposively selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data was taken in February-March 2025.  Nutritional intake was obtained from food recall 2 × 24 hours and hemoglobin levels were measured using easy touch GCHb. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. Results: The results of the study showed that as many as (18.7%) adolescent girls experienced anemia or hemoglobin (Hb) levels 12 g/dl and Chronic Energy Deficiency (27%). There was no association with nutrient intake (energy p=1.000), (protein p=0.674), (iron p=0.389), (vitamin A p=0.095) and there was a significant association of (vitamin C p=0.000) and (anemia p=0.000) with the incidence of Chronic Energy Deficiency in adolescent girls. Conclusion: the importance of prevention of anemia and Chronic Energy Deficiency by improving the quality of menus and nutritional intake in adolescent girls in dormitories.
