Abstract

Research on the development of Creative Problm Solving (CPS) based assessment essays using 4-D models. The stages in the 4-D model consist of define, design, development and disseminate. The results of the analysis from the define stage state that students' creative thinking abilities at SMAN 7 Padang are still low and the development of creative problem-based assessment essay sheets is needed. The next step to do is the design stage. The design is done to get the foundation and conformity of the development of assessment essays with the needs and characteristics of students. The next stage is the stage of development (development) which includes tests of validity, practicality, and effectiveness testing. The validation stage shows the results that the Essay assessment sheet is valid for testing. After the Essay assessment sheet is declared valid by the validator, the next step is to conduct a trial to find out its practicality and effectiveness. The effectiveness of the use of assessment essay sheets seen during limited trials is carried out. The effectiveness of assessment essays is not only seen from the improvement of students' creative thinking abilities, but also from the competencies of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The results showed that assessment essay sheets based on creative problem solving models were developed effectively to improve students' creative thinking skills (73.08), attitude competence (83.82), and skills competencies (78.93) in learning physics.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan essay assessment berbasis Creative Problm Solving (CPS) menggunakan 4-D model. Tahap-tahap dalam 4-D model terdiri dari define, desain, development dan disseminate. Hasil analisis dari tahap definemenyataan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di SMAN 7 Padang masih rendah dan diperlukan pengembangan lembar essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving. Langkah selanjutnya yang dilakukan adalah tahap design (perancangan). Perancangan lembar essay assessment dimulai dengan penyusunan standar tes, pemilihan media, pemilihan format, membuat rancangan awal.Perancangan dilakukan untuk mendapatkan landasan dan kesesuian pengembangan essay assessment dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Essay assessment dirancang memuat langkah-langkah model pembelajaran creative problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk jenis penelitiandeskriptif kualitatif, yang mendeskripsikan rancangan essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif.Rancangan lembar essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving terdiri dari: cover, kata pengantar, daftar isi, identitas, petunjuk,  tujuan pembelajaran, Tahap kegiatan pada lembar essay assessment disesuaikan dengan tahap-tahap creative problem solving dan memperhatikan karakteristik asesmen autentik. format penilaian, selain itu essay assessment juga dilengkapi dengan RPP dan Penilaian yang berbasis CPS.

Setelah lembar Essay assessmentdinyatakan valid oleh validator, langkah berikutnya adalah melakukan uji coba untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektivannya. Data kepraktisan diambil dari observasi terhadap keterlaksanaan RPP, angket respon guru, dan angket respon peserta didik selama mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan lembar Essay assessment. Penelitian yang dilakukan ternasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang mendeskripsikan hasil uji praktikalitas lembar Essay assessment.

Tahap selanjutnya adalah tahap develop (pengembangan) yang meliputi uji validitas, uji praktikalitas, dan uji efektivitas. Validasi terhadap essay assessment dilakukan dengan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu tahap awal, revisi, dan tahap akhir. Tahap awal bertujuan untuk mendapatkan saran perbaikan dari validator terhadap essay assessment yang telah dibuat. Saran dan perbaikan dari validator digunakan sebagai pedoman untuk merevisi essay assessment yang telah dibuat. Setelah direvisi, essay assessment siap divalidasi akhir oleh validator sampai didapat essay assessment yang benar-benar valid untuk diujicobakan. Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang mendeskripsikan hasil uji validasi essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract

Government’s effort to develop character education is by integrating it into a lesson. Physics is one of lesson that can develop student’s character. Integrating character value into a lesson needs a teaching material which is integrated by character value. The existing learning material has not entered the character value directly. The aim of this research is to produce a physics learning material which is integrated Al-Quran’s character value that practical, valid, and effective. The object of Research and Development (R&D) are physics learning material which is integrated Al-Quran’s character value and students of XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 7 Padang. Research instruments are consists of instrument of validity, instrument of practicality, and students learning outcome. Analysis technique of product and data are technique of describing, analysis statistical descriptive, and comparable analysis of correlation. Based on data analysis, the result of research shown that teaching material of Physics which is integrated Al-Quran’s character value are valid, practical, and effective to use in Physics learning.   Keywords: Physics Learning Material, Al-Qur’an’s Character Value, Research and Development

Abstract

Twenty first century skills are very important skills in learning because these skills are able to prepare individuals to face challenges and opportunities in the future masses. This study aims to analyze the trend of project-based learning (PjBL) integrated in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to improve twenty first century skills in Physics learning. The method used is bibliometric analysis method. A total of 127 articles were collected through the Publish or Perish (PoP) application based on relevant keywords in Google Scholar indexed journals. The article was processed using the VOSviewer application. VOSviewer mapping results were analyzed and described. The results of this study are that in the last five years (2020 - 2024), STEM-integrated PjBL has become one of the trends in Physics learning in schools. This can be seen from the many articles found about STEM-integrated PjBL. Abstract

21st century learning requires a student-centered learning process and requires students to have knowledge and skills regarding technology, media and information, as well as having 4C skills, one of which is communication skills. Communication skills are 21st century competencies that need to be developed in the independent curriculum. The type of research conducted was classroom action research with the aim of improving students' communication skills through the implementation of an integrated E-Students Worksheet with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The classroom action research model used is the Kemmis-Mc Taggart spiral model. The PTK model consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Class action research was conducted over two cycles of four meetings. Each meeting is carried out for 3 hours of lessons apart from daily test activities. The instrument used was an observation sheet of students' communication skills filled in by two observers during the learning process. The results of the first cycle of research obtained an average of 76 students' communication skills in the communicative category and the second cycle obtained an average of 84 in the very communicative category. This shows that the application of an integrated E-Students Worksheet with the Problem Based Learning model can improve students' communication skills.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a crucial 21st-century skill that students need to develop. However, initial studies indicate that students' critical thinking skills are still relatively low. This study aimed to develop digital teaching materials integrated with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model that are both valid and practical to improve students' critical thinking abilities. The research followed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the Hannafin and Peck development model. The development process reached the limited trial stage, conducted with Grade X students. Data were collected through expert validation sheets and student practicality questionnaires. Descriptive statistical analysis was used to describe the validity and practicality results in the form of tables and graphs. The findings showed that the digital teaching materials were valid and practical. Expert evaluations resulted in an average score of 83.6, indicating excellent validity in content, visual design, instructional design, software functionality, and PBL integration. Students gave an average score of 82.2, reflecting very high practicality in terms of usefulness, ease of use, clarity, appeal, and affordability. Based on these results, the alternative energy-themed digital teaching materials integrated with the PBL model are considered effective for supporting classroom learning and enhancing students' critical thinking skills.
