Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PBL) merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang melibatka peserta didik dalam proses pembelejaran di kelas secara collaborative. PBL menekankan pengalaman belajar kontekstual yang dapat mendorong peserta didik memperoleh pengetahuan. Pengetahuan peserta didik tersebut dapat diperoleh melalui kegiatan bertanya, menyelesaikan masalah, mengeksplorasi minat, dan mengembangkan keterampilan yang dapat diaplikasikan pada kehidupan peserta didik di masa yang akan dating. PBL juga efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didk karena menawarkan berbagai pengalaman belajar. Strategi PBL sesuai dengnan teori perkembangan Piaget yang menghendaki anak didekatkan pada dunia yang lebih nyata (konkrit) dan teori Vigotsky yang menganggap interkasi sosial sebagai kunci pembelajaran. PBL diturunkan dari hasil riset dalam psikologi kognitif bahwa belajar adalah memahami konsep, berfikir kritis, menganalisis informasi, mengkomunikasikan ide, bekerja secara koperatif, mengembangkan pengetahuan, dan keterampilan secara sungguh-sungguh. Proyek sebagai produk dalam PBL secara harmonis bersama dengan praktik pengajaran tradisional dapat menjadi alat untuk menyediakan pengalaman belajar yang memotivasi peserta didik. PBL digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan tujuan peserta didik termotivasi dan mengalami belajar, peserta didik mempunyai banyak kesempatan memperoleh dan menggunakan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru dan mencapai kompetensi belajar, peserta didik mengaitkan tema pembelajaran dengan disiplin/bidang studi penting lain.

Abstract

Kondisi di sekolah pada umumnya menunjukkan masih adanya ketimpangan peran gender dalam proses pembelajaran. Ketimpangan tersebut muncul pada berbagai aspek, antara lain adalah ketersediaan sarana sekolah yang kurang memperhatikan kebutuhan berimbang antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan, sikap bias gender guru terhadap siswa, materi ajar yang tidak responsif, dan  lingkungan belajar yang belum responsif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendidikan responsif gender dan kesehatan reproduksi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan 7 guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan responsif gender dan kesehatan reproduksi yang diimplementasikan melalui merancang pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang responsive, mengintegrasikan pesan gender dan kesehatan reproduksi pada mata pelajaran, dan merancang hidden kurikulum efektif untuk memberikan pemahaman gender dan kesehatan reproduksi bagi siswa di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This research analyzes strategies of islamic education teachers based on local wisdom in enhancing learning quality in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 6 Banyuwangi. This research uses a qualitative case study type approach. The research subjects included the Head of the Madrasah, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Deputy Head of Student Affairs, PAI Teachers, Religious Figures, local cultural figures, and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that PAI teachers who integrate local wisdom values into the curriculum and teaching methods can increase student engagement and motivation. Effective strategies include using learning materials that contain local culture, developing extracurricular activities that focus on local traditions, and collaborating with local communities to provide contextual learning experiences. Applying local wisdom in PAI learning increases students' understanding of religious material and strengthens their cultural identity, ultimately improving the quality of education in madrasas. This research suggests that PAI curriculum development should pay more attention to local wisdom as an integral part of learning strategies to achieve more holistic and meaningful educational outcomes. Artikel ini menganalisis strategi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 6 Banyuwangi. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian meliputi Kepala Madrasah, Wakil Kepala Madrasah Bidang Kurikulum, Wakil Kepala Madrasah Bidang Bidang Kesiswaan, Guru PAI, Tokoh Agama, Tokoh Budaya, dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal ke dalam kurikulum dan metode pengajaran, dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa. Strategi yang efektif antara lain dengan menggunakan materi pembelajaran yang memuat budaya lokal, mengembangkan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang fokus pada tradisi lokal, dan berkolaborasi dengan komunitas lokal untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual. Penerapan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran PAI meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi keagamaan dan memperkuat identitas budayanya, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di madrasah. Artikel ini menyarankan agar pengembangan kurikulum PAI sebaiknya lebih memperhatikan kearifan lokal sebagai bagian integral dari strategi pembelajaran untuk mencapai hasil pendidikan yang lebih holistik dan bermakna. Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the value of determination between Spirituality and Subjective Well-Being of prisoners at the Class II A Banyuwangi Penitentiary. The method used uses a quantitative approach, while the type of research uses descriptive research. The population is male inmates at class II A prison in Banyuwangi, for the sample using a simple random sampling method, samples taken only from male Islamic inmates who received spiritual guidance. To collect data using observation methods, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis uses a simple linear regression method. The results of the research show that there is a significant influence between spirituality on the subjective well-being of male inmates of class II A Banyuwangi community institutions, with a correlation value of r = 0.618 which has a strong positive linear relationship, meaning that the higher the level of spirituality of the inmates, the more it will increase level of subjective well-being of prisoners. The R Square value is 0.382. This means that the effective contribution made by spirituality to subjective well-being is 38.2%, while the remaining 61.8% is influenced by other factors that cannot be explained in this research

Abstract

This research aims to explain efforts to engage parents during the limited face-to-face learning process at Lazuardi Tursina Banyuwangi Elementary School. This study uses qualitative descriptive methods. The study subjects were teachers and parents at Lazuardi Tursina Banyuwangi Elementary School. The teachers involved in this study as many as 5 people consisted of 3 low-grade teachers and 2 high-class teachers. The parents involved in the study numbered 50 people, consisting of 30 parents of low-grade students and 20 parents of high-class students. The technique of data collection is carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that 85% of parents attended parent meetings, 90% of parents attended parent consultation sessions, 35% of parents were involved in parent teaching sessions, and 85% of parents took advantage of parent guidlines prepared by teachers in accompanying students to learn from home.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing the Montessori Method in an effort to build understanding of basic mathematical concepts in grade 1 students at MI Tarbiyatus Shibyan Kembiritan Genteng Banyuwangi. This research is quantitative quasi-experimental, using parallel classes namely classes for the experimental group that receive learning using the Montessori method and control group classes with conventional learning. Data was collected through a test of understanding basic mathematical concepts before (pretest) and after the intervention (post test). The research results show that the average value of N- Gain in the experimental class is 70.00. The average N-Gain value of the control class is 15.47. This shows that the Montessori Method is 54.53% more effective in improving student learning outcomes on adding tens and hundreds than conventional methods. The application of the Montessori method makes a positive contribution to increasing students' understanding, especially in critical aspects of mathematics for grade 1 students. Statistical analysis shows significant differences between the two groups, with a p-value of 0.00<0.05 which supports the effectiveness of the Montessori method. The implication of this research is that the application of the Montessori method can be used as an effective alternative learning approach to build understanding of basic mathematical concepts in grade 1 students. This can be a reference for schools, teachers and policy makers in designing more effective learning strategies at the educational level basic, especially at MI Tarbiyatus Shibyan Kembiritan Genteng Banyuwangi. Further studies can explore the long-term impact of implementing the Montessori method in the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the optimization of local-oriented Islamic jurisprudence education to improve higher order thinking skills in Madrasas. This research uses a qualitative case study type approach. The research subjects consisted ofHead of Madrasah, Deputy Head of Madrasah, Subject Teachers and students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Optimizing local-oriented Islamic jurisprudence education has indicatorsto achieve it Higher order thinking skills in Madrasas include,integration of local context, interactive learning, collaborative problem solving and critical literacy development. By integrating the local context in fiqh learning, students can more easily understand the material and are able to develop analytical, evaluation skills and create solutions to related problems. Implementation of locally based learning also increases active student participation and makes learning more meaningful. Thus, this research provides important implications for curriculum development and teaching strategies at Madrasah Aliyah, especially in order to increase students' HOTS through approaches that are relevant to their surrounding environment.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how the Merdeka Curriculum can be implemented at Madrasah to improve student's critical thinking skills without sacrificing Islamic religious education, where this research can make a significant contribution to curriculum development at Madrasah and enrich academic literature on education religion and 21st-century skills. This research uses qualitative with case study. Data collection techniques are through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis includes identifying patterns, themes, and nuances from interviews and observations. The research results show that several things can be implemented several things can be implemented in developing an independent curriculum for madrasas. First, develop material that stimulates critical thinking by connecting theory with everyday situations relevant to students. Second, project-based activities involve students actively in the learning process, where they receive information passively and participate actively in knowledge creation. Third, critical thinking in a spiritual context encourages students to accept religious teachings passively and question and understand more profound meanings. Fourth, Self-Reflection and Metacognition can strengthen students' understanding of the material studied.
