Abstract

Arabic in Indonesia is one of the foreign languages studied in formal and non-formal education institutions ranging from MI / SD, MTs / SMP, MA / SMA, to college level. When studying the language of a country, not separated to learn the culture. Intercultural education is a process whereby the broader cultural insights of learners, with the help of new information on other cultures and languages / languages and at the same time, raise children's awareness of their own cultural and language specific features (Madya, 2013: 194). Arabic learning can be successful if students have mastered four language skills (Iskandarwassid 2011: 226). These four skills include listening (mahaarah al-istima), speaking (mahaarah al-takallum), reading (mahaarah al-qira'ah), and writing (mahaarah al-Kitaabah). Language learning should be carried out hierarchically from listening skills to writing skills (Tarigan 1993: 34). Although learning Arabic in Indonesia has been going on for centuries, learning skills listening and speaking Arabic still lack sufficient attention and focus. Based on the above problems required a solution in the form of a variety of learning media that can be utilized by teachers and students in learning listening that is GAMA Arabic, a Game Listening Arabic in which not only teach and train related listening skills, but the content of education-based materials intercultural remembering to learn the language will not be apart from learning the language culture.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to describe the learning components at PUSIBA, analyze the implementation of the blended learning model in Arabic language learning at PUSIBA, examine further the collaboration carried out by sheikh from Egypt and PUSIBA, and analyze the achievement of aspects of the blended learning model in learning at PUSIBA. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research results obtained were (1) the curriculum and learning materials at PUSIBA follow the Markaz Syaikh Zayed curriculum in Egypt by adjusting the existing levels of learning and accommodating the teaching of the four language skills, listening, speaking, reading, and writing, (2) the learning process in PUSIBA is carried out in blended learning for five months with the sheikh from Egypt and also teachers who have completed Arabic language teaching training from Markaz Syaikh Zayed, and (3) learning collaboration between sheikh from Egypt and PUSIBA is carried out online and offline, and (4) Arabic learning at PUSIBA fulfills five aspects of the blended learning model, live events, self-paced learning, collaboration, assessment, and performance support materials.

Abstract

The unharmoniousnes ukhuwah islamiyah show the intolerant attitude between Muslims. This intolerant attitude arises because it is too fanatical towards the mazhab of thought and closes itself to know the other mazhab. Therefore it is necessary knowledge of other mazhab. Lack of knowledge about other mazhab will result in a lack of tolerance for other mazhab. Because it will arise claim that the mazhab he embraced is the most correct mazhab. The jurisprudence between the mazhab can take them to armed conflicts that threaten the unity of Muslims because they are too fanatical about their mazhab without wanting to know the other mazhab. Until now the means used by society or the claimant of science in understanding various mazhab with the use of books tend to be thick that is by using the method of reading and understanding. This method is less effective considering the elements in society not only from the intellect but from various circles which need effective ways to understand and know the teachings of the various mazhab. Technology and information is used to convey all kinds of information in an interesting and easy to understand. Various technologies continue to be developed in all aspects of life ranging from household, industry, education and even weapons systems by various circles. Therefore, this field of initiative, offered a media of learning of fiqh based on technology and information called ABFI (Application of  Leraning Fiqh Ikhtilaf), this application contains about knowledge from various mazhab about fiqhiyah study. ABFI (Application of  Learning Fiqh Ikhtilaf) will be an Android-based app so that people can easily use this application. It is hoped that through this application the community can learn fiqh flexibly and the society is more open to open their horizons of knowledge about the jurisprudence of various mazhab besides what they already understand and believe.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the project based learning method "Arab Friends" through the use of the HelloTalk application to improve Arabic speaking skills. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a primary data collection process through observation, interviews, and document review. The subjects of the study were 25 middle-level students at the Al Azhar Arabic Course. The results of data analysis show that (1) This research was successfully applied through several stages of implementation, namely preparing project questions or assignments, designing project plans, preparing schedules and monitoring student project progress, test results and experience evaluation. (2) Based on the previous stage, the "Arab Friends" project-based learning method through the use of the Hello Talk program has been successfully applied so that it can improve students' speaking skills as evidenced by the form of the "Friends of the Arabs" project report along with a record of conversations that have been carried out.
