Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Muhammadiyah Cileungsi has the duty of the College Dharma Chess which includes education and teaching activities, research and community service, and AIKA and Al-Islam. The purpose of this research is to teach writing methods to teachers, to facilitate teaching and learning. The method used in this research are identification of the problem, conduct a field survey, finding material, and direct training  to representatives of each high school / vocational school teachers. In this training participants were given the easiest writing method. From telling great writers in life in the world, where they can exist in writing. Then the participants were asked to write an article to get used to writing. After the end of the activity, participants are asked to share in the group or discuss directly with the speaker, so that the writing that has been made can be immediately reviewed. Solutions in writing training, taking the time to write, and frequent discussions with people who often write. The result of this research is the teachers know writing techniques to develop teaching activity in the classroom.

Abstract

Secara umum pertumbuhan UMKM di Indonesia masih menghadapi banyak kendala. UMKM Kecamatan Cileungsi di dalam menjalankan usahanya mempunyai kendala utama terkait pemasaran. Hal ini harus mendapat perhatian serius dari pemangku kepentingan, karena perkembangan usaha sangat ditentukan oleh keberhasilan pemasaran. Terlebih lagi saat ini persaing­an antar pelaku usaha makin sengit, kelangsungan hidup UMKM amat ditentukan oleh kemampuan merek untuk meraih pangsa pasar. Tujuan utama program yang diadakan yaitu peserta dalam hal ini pelaku UMKM bisa paham prinsip strategi pemasaran serta bauran pemasaran. Metode pelaksanaan yang dipergunakan adalah penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan dengan media zoom meeting. Kegiatan diawali dengan pemaparan materi, Tanya jawab dan kemudian diadakan studi kasus usaha salah seorang peserta dan diskusi antara peserta. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah pemahaman peserta terhadap pentingnya pemasaran, langkah-langkah strategi pemasaran dan faktor bauran pemasaran yaitu Empat P yang terdiri dari Product (produk), Price (harga), Place (tempat) dan Promotion (promosi) mengalami peningkatan berdasarkan hasil penyebaran kuesioner.

Abstract

Salah satu dampak dari pandemi covid-19 adalah semakin maraknya Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK). Situasi sulit seperti sekarang ini membuat korban PHK ke melamar ke perusahaan lain. Hampir semua perusahaan juga sedang mengalami kesulitan yang berujung penurunan pendapatan. Salah satu pilihan terbaik adalah membuka usaha. Pelita Desa, sebuah lembaga nirlaba yang berada di bawah naungan Yayasan Pelita Ilmu, adalah salah satu lembaga yang sudah lama mendorong tumbuhnya semangat kewirausahaan. Salah satu sasarannya adalah kaum muda pedesaan. Saat ini mereka sedang mengembangkan budidaya tanaman hias untuk pasar ekspor. Mereka menerapkan pola kemitraan dalam usaha tanaman hias. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis prospek usaha budidaya tanaman hias untuk pasar ekspor yang dilakukan di Pelita Desa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adaah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil yag didapat dari penelitian ini budidaya tanaman hias tropis untuk pasar ekspor sangat menjanjikan. Budidaya tanaman hias ini perlu didorong untuk dikembangkan di wilayah sekitar lokasi Pelita Desa.One of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic is the increasing number of layoffs. The current difficult situation has forced layoff victims to apply to other companies. Almost all companies are also experiencing difficulties that lead to a decline in revenue. One of the best options is to open a business. Pelita Desa, a non-profit organization under the auspices of the Pelita Ilmu Foundation, is an institution that has long encouraged the growth of an entrepreneurial spirit. One of the targets is rural youth. Currently they are developing ornamental plant cultivation for the export market. They apply a partnership pattern in the ornamental plant business. This study aims to analyze the business prospects of ornamental plant cultivation for the export market in Pelita Desa. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The results obtained from this research are that the cultivation of tropical ornamental plants for the export market is very promising. The cultivation of ornamental plants needs to be encouraged to be developed in the area around the Pelita Desa location.

Abstract

Data-data resmi membuktikan begitu besarnya peran UMKM terhadap perekonomian Indonesia. Tetapi fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa bisnis UMKM tidak selalu berjalan mulus, masih banyak hambatan dan kendala, baik yang bersifat internal maupun eksternal. Tidak sedikit UMKM yang tidak bisa berkembang dengan baik dan akhirnya gulung tikar. Geliat ekonomi di wilayah Kecamatan Cileungsi tampak meningkat terlihat UMKM tumbuh seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah warga. Semua pihak perlu mendukung tumbuh kembangnya UMKM di wilayah Kecamatan Cileungsi agar bisa memberi dampak yang baik bagi masyarakat. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mendapat gambaran profil UMKM di wilayah Kecamatan Cileungsi dan hambatan yang dihadapi di dalam mengembangkan usaha. Metode yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan survey menggunakan instrumen angket. Hasil yang didapat dari penelitian ini dengan sampel sebanyak 63 responden, diketahui bahwa komposisi UMKM di Kecamatan Cileungsi adalah mayoritas adalah usaha mikro. Berdasarkan jenis usahanya diketahui bahwa jenis usaha yang usaha paling diminati adalah kuliner. Bidang-bidang lain jumlahnya hampir seimbang yaitu konveksi, kerajinan tangan dan perdagangan. Hambatan terbesar yang dihadapi UMKM Kecamatan Cileungsi adalah bidang pemasaran dan keuangan.

Abstract

As an educational institution, the age of SD Muhammadiyah Jonggol is relatively young and has just entered its sixth year. For this reason, a lot of internal coaching is needed to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR), especially teachers. From the conversation with the Principal of SD Muhammadiyah Jonggol, Imran Fauzan Noor, S.Pd.I, information was obtained that teacher character building is an urgent need. It is necessary to conduct character building for the teachers of SD Muhammadiyah Jonggol. The method used in this Community Service (PkM) activity is the extension method. Activities are carried out face to face. Technical counseling is carried out by delivering the material and then holding several exercises. The result of the activity is an increase in the level of participants' understanding of the material. This is evidenced by several practice cases and answers to the questionnaire

Abstract

Guru adalah ujung tombak sebuah lembaga pendidikan. Maju mundurnya sebuah lembaga pendidikan ditentukan oleh peran guru. Dari observas dan wawancara yang dilakukan dengan Kepala Sekolah SD Muhammadiyah Jonggol, didapatkan informasi bahwa sebagian besar guru tidak memiliki kemampuan berbicara di depan umum yang mumpuni. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka perlu diadakan kegiatan pembinaan kemampuan berbicara di depan umum bagi guru sangat penting bagi guru-guru SD Muhammadiyah Jonggol. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah dengan metode penyuluhan. Tahapan kegiatan adalah pra pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan dan tahapan evaluasi. Secara teknis diberikan pemaparan teori terkait kemampuan berbicara di depan umum dan selanjutnya peserta melakukan praktik. Usai penyuluhan peserta diberikan tugas dan bimbingan untuk membuat naskah pidato dengan tema yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan di sekolah. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara di depan umum para peserta. Dari jawaban kuesioner peserta terdapat peningkatan pemahaman materi kriteria pembicara yang baik dari sebelumnya 20% tidak memahami dan 80% level biasa meningkat menjadi 40% memahami dan 60% sangat memahami. Ketika dilakukan praktik semua peserta berhasil mengatasi kendala tidak percaya diri saat tampil. Dari hasil membuat tugas menyusun naskah hasilnya cukup bagus, dengan nilai rata-rata 77,5 dari skala 100.

Abstract

Meskipun secara teknis mudah dilaksanakan, juga tidak dibutuhkan keahlian yang sangat tinggi tapi kenyataan banyak usaha ternak lele jalan di tempat. Usaha ternak lele As-Salaam yang sudah berdiri sejak tahun 2012 juga demikian. Secara umum tidak ada perkembangan yang signifikan sejak berdiri sampai saat ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan beberapa faktor kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan ancaman bagi usaha ternak lele As-Salaam. Selanjutnya diharapkan dapat merumuskan strategi bagi pengembangan usaha pada peternakan lele As-Salaam. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil dari penelitian adalah posisi peternakan lele As-Salaam berada di kuadran I diagram kartesius SWOT, maka rekomendasi yang diberikan strategi progresif. Strategi terbaik adalah SO yaitu pemanfaatan kekuatan untuk meraih peluang. Kekuatan terbaik yang dimiliki adalah penggunaan medsos dalam hal ini Youtube untuk pemasaran. Abstract

The Plant Rebuild Center, owned by PT. X, must raise quality to meet customer expectations and fulfill field needs. According to customer warranty claims in 2022, oil leaks in the transmission control valves of GD825-2 type units—11 in total—are the most common cause. This research's operational goal is to identify the source of the most damage to transmission components, particularly in Komatsu GD 825-2 units, so that corrective action may be taken and the effects can be monitored. At PT X's Plant Rebuild Center, corrective measures were implemented and standard operating procedures were created to serve as a guide for rebuilding Komatsu GD 825-2 unit transmission components. The analytical approach applies five why analyses. The findings show that oil leaks in the transmission control valve are the most common cause of damage. The engineering techniques used to achieve this improvement included duplicating the sleeve using the manufacturer's standard reference and altering the o-ring seat height during the semi-finishing stage before measuring and cutting during the finishing process. This resulted in the surfaces of the sleeve and transmission housing being identical. Work Instructions (INK) for installing the GD825-2 unit transmission control valve and a Checksheet for the GD825-2 type Grader unit transmission assembly have been developed as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Abstract

Welded joints, which encompass the criteria of welding base metal connections in the material, welding speed, material quality, and material toughness, are an integral aspect of tank construction. Steel material joints frequently fail during the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) welding procedures because air droplets become trapped in the steel material during the welding process. Finding the primary reasons for welding failures is the goal of this study. Impact and microstructure testing are used in the welding research method on SS400 steel. The FCAW welding process uses E71T-1C (Kobe) Electrodes Steel Familiarc AWS A5.2 E71T-1C) at varying currents of 80 A (Root), 100 A (Filler), and 120 A (Capping), against SS400 steel plate material with a thickness of 10 mm x 200 mm x 200 mm in V Buut seams Joints. The GTAW ER 70 SG (Familiarc Filler/Rods TG-S51T) Electrode classification allows for 90 A (Root), 110 A (Filler), and 120 A (Capping). Plate 1 has a value of 36.3 kJ/inch in the heat input calculation findings at the three section sites, while Plate 2 has the highest value of 61 kJ/inch. In the meantime, FCAW plate 2 has an impact strength value of 142.1 J, and plate 1 has an average hit in the test results at each of the three places of the specimen, according to the impact test findings. Three welding parameter points were used to record the findings of the metallographic testing's microstructure observations. plates 1 and 2 on the capping, filler, and root. being aware of the areas in the welded junction between plates 1 and 2 that are impacted by heat in the microstructure. Because of the material's strong heat input, which makes the steel brittle and promotes the formation of pearlite rather than ferrite, plate 2 has the highest value in the impact test

Abstract

Design of a nyamplung seed peeling machine with a 0.5 HP electric motor drive source with 1400 rpm rotation using a Ø76 mm pulley transmission system with a 1:1 ratio with a v-belt type A-24. After testing, it was found that from 100% of the nyamplung seeds there were seeds that were crushed and their contents were not processed, as many as 55% of the nyamplung seeds were found, apart from that when the machine was run there were seeds that were thrown out of the hopper so that the results of the machine design were deemed not to be as expected. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to modify the previous research machine so that the peeling process between the seeds and the nyamplung shell can improve the quality. The results of the modification of the nyamplung seed peeler tool were obtained with a duration of 13 seconds, the number of nyamplung seeds was 25 pcs, of which 17 were peeled. There were 5 pcs of whatever were not peeled, and 3 pcs were crushed. The second trial had a duration of 14 seconds, the number of seeds sampled was 25, 18 were peeled, the remaining 4 were not peeled and 3 were crushed. The third trial lasted 15 seconds out of a total of 25 pieces peeled, the result was 19 pieces peeled and the remaining 2 pieces failed, 4 pieces were destroyed
