Abstract

This research seeks to explain the use of Inggit Garnasih's historic house in Astana Anyar, Bandung City, to improve historical literacy skills. Inggit Garnasih's historic house contains local and national elements in Indonesian historiography (historical writing). This research indeed uses a participatory approach and uses a descriptive-analytical system. This research is expected to introduce one of the historical tourist destinations in the city of Bandung.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the effectiveness of the implementation of the flipped classroom learning model on improving students' critical thinking skills in History subjects, especially in schools. The development of the industrial revolution 4.0 seems to open up the widest possible access, especially in the application of this method. There are several uses of online media as a means of developing this method which can then be applied by teachers in the History learning process. This study uses a quasi-experimental research type with a qualitative approach. The benefits of using this model are to activate students in learning and overcoming History Studies learning problems in schools

Abstract

This study discusses the struggle of Ismail Marzuki as a National Hero. Ismail Marzuki is a composer and once worked at the RRI Radio Station (Radio Republik Indonesia). When RRI was controlled by the Dutch in 1947, Ismail Marzuki left RRI and continued to struggle through the works he performed. Ismail Marzuki's works are very much remembered by the public, especially since many of the works contain stories about struggle. This article uses a historical approach in analyzing the role of Ismail Marzuki as an artist and as a national hero.

Abstract

The main content of Edward Said's concept of Orientalism, its development and history as a branch of science, and how the field of Orientalism studies is used as a tool of domination, colonialism, and imperialism in the postcolonial perspective. Edward Said himself is a Palestinian-American academic, literary critic, and political activist. The writing in the article is a literature review of Edward Said's work.

Abstract

Strategi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sangat penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Dalam konteks ini, pimpinan sekolah harus mampu merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi program untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan.Tujuan dari penelitian ini penting untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang lebih jelas tentang peran kepala sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang berkualitas dan kompetitif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik penelitian berorientasi fenomena.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pengumpulan data seperti observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di smp it alamadinah karawang adalah (1). Meningkatkan karakter siswa dengan tema TAJUDISMATATA ( Jujur, Disiplin, Mandiri, Tanggguh, Tanggap).(2). Memonitoring siswa dan guru dengan CCTV di setiap ruangan, (3). Pembelajaran berbasis power point, (4). Mengadakan rapat koordinasi guru dengan rincian wakasek seminggu sekali, wali kelas seminggu sekali, dan seluruh karyawan seminggu sekali, (5). Kepala sekolah mengadakan supervisi setahun 2 kali (6). Hapalan tahpidz untuk seluruh guru dan siswa.
