Abstract

This study aims to explain the effectiveness of the implementation of the flipped classroom learning model on improving students' critical thinking skills in History subjects, especially in schools. The development of the industrial revolution 4.0 seems to open up the widest possible access, especially in the application of this method. There are several uses of online media as a means of developing this method which can then be applied by teachers in the History learning process. This study uses a quasi-experimental research type with a qualitative approach. The benefits of using this model are to activate students in learning and overcoming History Studies learning problems in schools

Abstract

Kajian ini membahas tentang perkemabangan sistem pendidikan pada Masa Dinasti Abbasiyah di Baghdad, karena  seperti  yang  kita  ketahui  bahwa  puncak  kejayaan  Islam dengan  perkembangan  di segala   bidang   khususnya  dalam  bidang  ilmu pengetahuanyang sangat pesat bahkan dijadikan sebagai rujukan bagi para cendekiawan Barat. Sistem pendidikan masa tersebut juga kemudian melahirkan beberapa sarjanawan muslim yang telah berkontribusi dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan modern. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan historis untuk melihat perkembangan sistem pendidikan yang diterapkan di Masa Abbasiyah.

Abstract

This study discusses the struggle of Ismail Marzuki as a National Hero. Ismail Marzuki is a composer and once worked at the RRI Radio Station (Radio Republik Indonesia). When RRI was controlled by the Dutch in 1947, Ismail Marzuki left RRI and continued to struggle through the works he performed. Ismail Marzuki's works are very much remembered by the public, especially since many of the works contain stories about struggle. This article uses a historical approach in analyzing the role of Ismail Marzuki as an artist and as a national hero.

Abstract

This article examines the community empowerment program carried out by KKN students at the Indonesian Education University Bandung (UPI) as a strategy to improve students' literacy skills in the Pageragueng District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The article also discusses several programs including: literacy houses, literacy camps, teaching at the elementary level (diniyah), and learning assistance for students with special needs in the Pagerageung Tasikmalaya District area. This series of activities was carried out offline involving several stakeholders such as the Bina Warga Hasani Foundation and the Suryalaya Tasikmalaya Islamic Boarding School Education Foundation which is considered to have made the empowerment program activities a success. The results obtained were that the people in the Pagergagueng Tasikmalaya area were very enthusiastic, especially students who were greatly helped by the empowerment program in the area. The approach used in this article is to use a field observation and qualitative approach to discuss it in detail in this article.

Edward Said himself is a Palestinian-American academic, literary critic, and political activist. The writing in the article is a literature review of Edward Said's work.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang sejarah pergerakan mahasiswa di Indonesia dari masa kolonial hingga reformasi. Gerakan mahasiswa merupakan sebuah gerakan sosial yang lahir dari tuntutan kaum intelektual muda masyarakat kampus. Mahasiswa dikenal sebagai bagian dari social movement atau gerakan sosial. Gertakan mahasiswa Indonesia penuh dengan dinamika, karena selalu mengalami perubahan karakter dan bentuk pada setiap jamannya sehingga mewarnai sejarah pergerakan kaum terpelajara di Indonesia. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian sejarah, yakni penelitian yang mempelajari peristiwa atau kejadian di masa lampau berdasarkan jejak yang ditinggalkan.

Abstract

This article explores the role of school committees in supporting educational programs at the elementary level through a literature review. Achieving educational goals requires active involvement from the community and stakeholders, especially parents as primary users of educational services. Their participation plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education and fostering a collaborative partnership with schools. Therefore, school committees should function as strategic partners in implementing school programs. The findings indicate that a strong partnership between schools and school committees contributes significantly to improving educational quality. Committees are actively involved in coordinating with schools in planning both academic and non-academic activities, including social and community programs. Their roles encompass providing input, support, supervision, and acting as a communication bridge between schools and parents. When the functions and partnerships of school committees are well-established, schools can effectively implement various programs aimed at improving educational outcomes. This collaboration helps schools achieve their vision and mission while also increasing parental satisfaction. Ultimately, the active role of school committees becomes a vital element in strengthening the quality of education at the elementary level.
