Abstract

PPSDM Geominerba Field Campus is a center for training practice activities located in Cipatat, Padalarang District, Kab. Bandung Barat. The existence of groundwater plays an important role in supporting training practices and daily needs for the surrounding community. The aim of this paper is to determine the facies of groundwater based on data on physical and chemical properties. Samples were taken from 5 spring locations to be analyzed in the laboratory and re-analyzed using the trilinear piper diagram. The acidity level of spring water is < 7, with values ​​varying between 4.99 – 6.31, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) is in the range of 0.12 – 0.37 mg/l, Electrical Conductivity value (EC) between 0.26 – 0.74 µS. Based on the plotting results from the piper diagram, it was found that the research area could be grouped into 2 groundwater facies: Facies Ca, HCO3- and Facies No Dominant, HCO3-

Abstract

The Banyuwangi area has special features in terms of geology and mineralization, this is proven by the designation as an Ijen geopark and the existence of a mining company. The purpose of writing this article is to describe the potential of the Ijen geopark in developing geotourism in the Banyuwangi area. Geoparks are understood as a combination of geological diversity, biodiversity and cultural diversity. Geopark management is managed for conservation, education and economic purposes in a sustainable manner, with active involvement from the community and local government, so that it can be used to increase people's understanding and concern for the earth and its surrounding environment. The result of this writing is a general description of the geotourism potential in the Banyuwangi area and its economic development.

Abstract

Digital maps are representations of geographic phenomena stored for display and analysis by computers. A digital map can also be interpreted as a digitally presented image of the earth's surface that is reduced to a certain scale through a projection system. Digital geological mapping using smartphones is increasingly popular because it provides many conveniences. The purpose of this paper is to discuss which smartphone (smart phone) based operating system is the best in terms of accuracy for digital geological mapping. The market share of smartphones is currently controlled by three big players, namely Android, Windows and IOS. The results of a literature search show that there are two most popular operating systems for digital geological mapping, namely Android and IOS. Based on the review results, even though Android has the largest market share, iOS-based smartphones have various advantages in terms of reliability and accuracy.

Abstract

Kabupaten Bandung memiliki 31 Kecamatan, 270 Desa dan 10 Kelurahan yang terbagi ke dalam 8 Wilayah Pengembangan (WP) (Buku Rencana Kabupaten Bandung 2016-2036). Sejalan dengan kondisi seperti ini perkembangan daerah Kabupaten Bandung cukup siginifikan baik di bidang perekonomian, kependudukan, jasa, industri, pertanian dan sebagainya, menyebabkan timbulnya kebutuhan lahan untuk pembangunan prasarana fisik dan pengembangan wilayah baik untuk pemukiman, industri, perkantoran dan lainnya. Menurut Yovi (2015) bahwa proses perkembangan suatu kota akan berpotensi menciptakan tantangan bagi perencanaan kota yang sangat terkait dengan perubahan penggunaan lahan. Setiap perubahan penggunaan lahan tentunya akan menimbulkan berbagai dampak terhadap lingkungan. Oleh karena itu analisis geologi lingkungan di Kutawaringin dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kondisi geologi lingkungan daerah tersebut dan diharapkan data ini dapat digunakan oleh berbagai pihak dalam rangka kegiatan pembangunan. Penelitian ini merupakan tahap awal yang lebih ditekankan kepada pengumpulan data sekunder berupa data spatial yang meliputi peta topografi, citra satelit, peta geologi, peta penggunaan lahan, peta kehutanan, dan data penunjang lainnya serta didukung oleh data pengamatan lapangan. Berdasarkan komponen-komponen daya dukung sumber daya dan kendala geologi yang berkembang di kecamatan Kutawaringin, maka wilayah Kecamatan Kutawaringin dapat dibagi menjadi tujuh Satuan Geologi Lingkungan (SGL), yaitu: SGL 1, SGL2, SGL 3, SGL 4, SGL 5, SGL 6 dan SGL 7.  Masing-masing dari satuan tersebut memiliki karakteristik tersendiri
