Abstract

Besides the Law number 12/2012 article 1, the higher education curriculum for study program is also mentioned in  Presidential Decree No. 8/2012 about  Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) and Permendikbud Number 73/2013.  It brings some impacts on several areas of education system, including curriculum in higher education, standard of workers’ competences and also the wage system. For LPTK, the level 6 of IQF which describes the generic competences  in detail as learning outcome (LO) can be a guide for the institution in redeveloping curriculum. Clearly mentioned that study program must design, implement and evaluate the curriculum based on IQF. The problem is IQF is still oriented mostly on recognition of qualifications meanwhile the requirements in designing academic oriented curriculum is still referred to Kepmendikbud No. 232 Tahun 2000 dan No. 045 Tahun 2002. therefore, implementing IQF in redeveloping curriculum for teachers education programs needs time to adapt curricula towards learning outcomes.

Abstract

Hipertensi adalah peningkatan tekanan sistolik dan diastolik darah arteri. Manifestasi oral dari hipertensi secara klinis kurang dapat dikenali, namun sering menimbulkan efek gingivitis. Perdarahan gusi atau  gingival, merupakan tanda awal dari inflamasi pada gingival yang dikenal dengan gingivitis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat keparahan gingivitis dengan derajat hipertensi menggunakan metode analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Subyek penelitian adalah pasien gingivitis disertai hipertensi di Poli Gigi RSUP H Adam Malik Medan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Jumlah sampel sesuai kriteria inklusi dalam kurun waktu 24 hari hari buka berjumlah 60 pasien gingivitis dengan hipertensi. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah tingkat keparahan gingivitis diperoleh dengan mengukur perdarahan gingival menggunakan prob menghasilkan Papilla Bleeding Index (PBI) dan derajat hipertensi diukur dengan tensimeter air raksa. Data dianalisa menggunakan sistem komputerisasi. Hubungan tingkat keparahan gingivitis dengan dengan derajat hipertensi menggunakan uji Spearman pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai p=0,013 maka terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat keparahan gingivitis dengan derajat hipertensi. Kekuatan hubungan menunjukkan hubungan yang sedang dengan nilai r=0,336 dan berpola positif. Dari persamaan garis dapat diprediksi bahwa pada tingkat gingivitis ringan (PBI=1) akan terjadi hipertensi derajat I (140-159 mmHg/90-99 mmHg). Disarankan agar hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sumber informasi dan referensi adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara gingivitis dengan hipertensi di perpustakaan Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Medan.dan RSUP H Adam Malik Medan

Abstract

Menyikat gigi sangat penting untuk menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Tindakan membersihkan gigidari plak dan sisa makanan yang biasanya menumpuk pada permukaan gigi maupun disela-sela gigi,dengan menggunakan alat sikat gigi dan dilakukan sehari-hari. Penelitian yang digunakan adalahpenelitian diskriptif dengan metode survei yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuanibu rumah tangga tentang menyikat gigi terhadap def-t dan DMF-T pada Siswa/i SD Negeri 060930Titi Kuning Kecamatan Medan JohorTahun 2014. Sampel penelitian adalah total populasi yaitu (40orang). Kuesioner di isi langsung oleh ibu rumah tangga. Hasil penelitian tentang ibu yang memilikipengetahuan dengan kriteria baik 35 orang (87,5), kriteria sedang 5 orang (12,5) dan tidak ada yangmemiliki kriteria buruk dalam tingkat pengetahuan ibu. Status karies gigi (def-t) memiliki jumlahdecay (d) 192 dari 40 siswa (4,8%), extrakcition (e), filling (f) tidak ada ditemukan. Status karies gigi(DMF-T) memiliki jumlah jumlah Decay (D) 32 dari 40 siswa (0,8), Missing (M) dan Filling (F) tidakada ditemukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ibu yang memilikipengetahuan baik adalah 35 orang (87,5%), decay (d) 192 dari 40 siswa (4,8) dan Decay (D) 32 dari40 siswa (0,8). kepada ibu siswa agar lebih baik mengawasi dan memperhatikan anak saat menyikatgigi dan hendaknya ibu memilih sikat gigi yang dan tepat.

A working motheris defined as a mother doing an activity outside herhouse. The purpose of this study was to find out thedescription of knowledge of working mother about dental and oral health care towards the happening ofdental caries in Tualang Village Perbaungan Serdang Bedagai District. The research was a descriptivestudy with survey method. All of the population, 50 working mothers,were taken as samples of the research.Mother's knowledge data about dental and oral health care werecollected from questionnaires, distributed toall samples, while the dental caries data werecollectedthrough direct dental and mouth examination. Basedon the research, the levels of the respondents knowledge about dental and oral health care were as thefollowing : 20 respondents (40%) were in good category, 14 respondents (28%) were in medium categorywhile 16 respondents (32%) were in the poor category. A number of 50 respondents had dental cariesamounted to 302, an average of 6.04, with a percentage of 100%. It is expected that the working mothersable to improve their knowledge and behavior maitain dental and oral health care, so it can be applied tofamily member since oral and dental health will influence body health

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual dengan komitmen dosen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin dengan sampel sebanyak 123 orang diambil secara acak proporsional dari 175 orang dosen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengambilan data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan spiritual dan komitmen adalah skala likert. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif dan teknik korelasi product-momen dari Person. Dari hasil analisis,dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa: (1) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dan komitmen dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,400; (2) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan spiritual dan komitmen dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,584 (3); ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan secara simultan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan spiritual dengan komitmen dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,358.

This research in Shape Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research aims to improve learning IPA IV MI Al-Muhajirin Menggala Sakti. The formulation of the problem "Does the Model application of Quantum Teaching can be improve learning results IPA class IV MI Al-Muhairin Menggala Sakti?". The Research of Subject Class IV by twenty 20 students con sisting of thirteen 13 male and seven 7 female . The research results show that the Student complete basic fundamentals score that is 8 Student completed (40.00%), increase to cycle I became 14 students (70.00%), and increase again to cycle become 19 students (95.00% ). And I Cycle score Increased of 19.82%. Increases In Cycle II cycle on the average to 28.32%. Such data can be concluded that the model application of Quantum Learning Teaching can be improve learning results IPA class IV MI Al-Muhajirin Menggala Sakti. Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology in the 21st century undoubtedly has profound impacts on human lives and dramatically transforms education. This research aimed at finding out students? perceptions on the integration of technology to improve multiliteracies in EFL teaching. This study employed explanatory sequential mixed method in which the data were obtained through questionnaire, interviews, and classroom observations. The results indicated that vast majority of the students supported to the use of technology in the teaching and learning practices (90.6%) for the reasons that  technology helped them acquire  lots of resources in their learning (89.5%) and boost their motivation (86.5%). Regarding with the students? perceived technology level, they believed that they had good skills in using word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation program (50%). They also could use communication tools (56.3%), social media (61.5%), authoring tools (52.1%), desktop publishing (57.3%), and creating video (57.3%).  In terms of the perceived barriers to integrating technology, the data indicated that the biggest constraint that the students had was the lack of or limited internet access in the their school environment (42.7%), followed by the limited to produce digital projects (39.6%). In addition, the findings show that technology was utilized as a tool for accomplishing the tasks given by the teachers and helped the students gather information from online resources and provided them more understanding about the topic learned in the classroom

Abstract

The rapid development of technology demands a fast, easy, cheap, effective, and efficient system and can be accessed anytime and anywhere, including education and training. In the world of education, technological progress is marked by the number of people using the blended learning model. This study aims to obtain and collect information, data, and opinions from stakeholders and training participants at the Training Center of National Search and Rescue Agency to develop a blended learning model for Medical First Responder Training for responders. This study uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the Integrative Learning Design Framework development model and the PEDATI development strategy. This research is limited only to the initial analysis stage, namely in the form of field studies and literature studies to determine the needs of the Medical First Responders Education and Training and the needs of students who will be the first steps in developing blended learning of MFR training for rescuers within the National Search and Rescue Agency. This study indicates that the National Search and Relief Education and Training Center needs an effective and efficient learning model, coupled with the training participants' responses indicating that they wish to have alternative learning sources. The results of this need analysis research can serve as the basis for the development of blended learning training in Medical First Responder.

Abstract

The development of radical understandings and attitudes that also penetrate the campus world that needs to be addressed by including religious moderation and understanding of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning in Public Universities in the framework of implementing anti-radicalism education in IRE learning in Public Universities. This study aims to see the integration of moderation values in IRE learning in public universities in the application of anti-radicalism education, as well as what alarms are the obstacles. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with the analysis stages in the form of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that first, the values of religious moderation have been integrated in the learning of IRE in Public Universities through materials related to tolerance, brotherhood (ukhuwah), and the concept of Islamic teachings as a religion of rahmatan lil 'alamin. Second, the implementation of anti-radicalism education in IRE learning at public universities is seen from the content of the Semester Learning Plan (SLP) and Subject Learning Outcomes (SLO), most of the respondents have formulated it, only a small part is not specifically. There are several relationships that exist in the implementation of anti-radicalism education related to reference materials, time, and learning media.
