Abstract

Abstract, broken home’s family is the family that function of father and mother do not work functionally. Child that experience this situation called broken home child. This research aim’s to look at the description of the problems that face by student who wellborn in broken home’s family in SMA N 1 Banuhampu. This research is descriptive research, that see problems which are faced by student who wellborn in broken home’s family. The subject of this research is 39 students. Research instrument is questionnaire. The results of this research is the student have a problems in academic, themselves, family lives and peer relations. In this situation guidance and counseling teacher could arrange guidance and counseling service program that match with problems of students who from broken home’s family.

Abstract

One of the school's efforts is to help students achieve good learning results by instill discipline in the students. The fact that there are still students who commit breaches of the school rules, even though the school has undertaken the construction of discipline by the school personnel. This research aims to describe a breach of the school rules undertaken by students and the cause factors. Type of this research is descriptive research. The population in this research is 308 students and samples is 174 students. The research results reveal the overall student violations committed at the school belongs to medium category. Based on the level of violations committed students at the school were categorized in medium, and high in learning time. The cause factors violations committed student who comes from a family environment factors is in high category, from the school environment are medium category, and from the community is in high category.

Abstract

Abstract: Attitude and habit of good learning can support activity of lecturing. However, still lack of awareness student about the important of doing duties which given by lecturer. The purpose of this research is for description about habit and attitude of learning by student. This research factioned quantitative research of descriptive type. The population of this research is 211 responder and the sample is 53 responder. The instrument of this Research using a quetioner. The Result of research showing that attitude of learning student categorized is good with percentage 61.4%, while habit learn student categorized is good with percentage 67.0%. Conclusion: attitude of learning student categorized is good and attitude of learning student categorized is good. Suggestion: student must be apply good habit and attitude in learning process and on time to come in lecturing, doing duty, well-read book related to lecturing, repeat studying the lessons with friend and eliminate excitement bothering lecturing.

Abstract

Adolescences tend to join and interact with their social groups or peer groups better than their parent. Good social behavior provide acceptance in social groups, otherwise improperly social behavior can provoke rejection. This research is purposed to describe student’s social behavior in school in terms of aggression, conformity and nonverbal communication, and its implication to guidance and counseling treatment. This research is descriptive, with research subject of 47 students of VIII and IX class in SMP N 25 Padang. Research finding reveal that social behavior of students in school in term of aggression is unfavorable (58.39%), social behavior of students in school in term of conformity is unfavorable (60.95%), and social behavior of students in school in term of nonverbal communication is unfavorable (63.91%). Overall, the social behavior of students in school is unfavorable (61.56%).

Abstract

Learning is process to give student that helpfrom learning difficulties, that maybe comes during learning process, so that student can get their optimal score. In study processing, the motivation is very important. The motivation is indispensable, because an individu didn’t have encouragement or desire in study,is imposible can do study activity well. It mean there was motivation in student self indirectly will grow up the spirit and passion in study. As a matter in fact, there are many student who have low learning motivation becausemany found that student always going out-going in from the class and doing something else during study process. This research is descriptif research and the purpose to describe about student’s motivation to follow learning process. The conclusion of the research is student’smotivation tofollow learning in good enough category. The implication of guidance and counseling service for student’s motivation to follow learning process through information service about increase the study motivation and individual counseling by way of knowing the matter in study that encountered in studying and giving problem solving.Learning is process to give student that helpfrom learning difficulties, that maybe comes during learning process, so that student can get their optimal score. Abstract

The students who had high academic self-efficacy, generally, were able to obtain high learning achievement and vise versa. In fact, there were still some students having low academic self-efficacy. This research was aimed at describing the students’ academic self-efficacy and their learning achievement, and revealing the correlation between academic self-efficacy and the students’ learning achievement  at SMA Negeri 2 Solok Selatan. This was a descriptive correlational research. The number of the population was 388 students from which 153 were taken as the sample. The intruments of the research was questionnaire and document of students’ score in mid semester test in academic year 2013-2014. The result of the research indicated that there was a significant correlation between the academic self-efficacy and the students’ learning achievement.

Abstract

Abstract: Teenager who live in orphanage ideally able to make adjustments to the environment. In fact, foster children are often faced with the problem of adaptation to the environment. This research aims to find out what the problem is in the orphan natural adjustment to the environment both in the home environment include peers, caregivers, and outside the home environment includes public and school. This research is descriptive. The research subjects were 24 people at the junior high school level. This research instruments were questionnaires. The result of the research reveal that orphans having trouble adjusting to the orphanage environment include: peer environments, to establish good relationship with peers, and adjustment problems with the caregiver in having the awareness of caregivers authority. Furthermore,  the orphanage problems in adjustment to the environment outside the orphanage, include : public around the orphanage is to be sympathetic to the welfare of others, and the problems of adjustment to the school environment is able to make the subject as comfortable as possible. Abstract

Family is the first environment which affects the children’s learning activity. This research aims to find how is the difference of role of complete family and the role of in complete family on learning activity of students of SMAN 1 Painan when they are at home. This is a comparative descriptive research. The subjects are students of grade XI at SMAN 1 Painan in year 2012/2013 among 60 students as the sample. The data gathering uses questionnaire as the tool. The data is analyzed by using percentage analysis method and “t test”. The research finding show that (1) complete family has good role on students learning activity, (2) an in complete family has quite good role on students learning activity, (3) there is a significant difference of role of complete and incomplete family on the students learning activity in the number of percentage.
