Abstract

Introduction: Posyandu Balita is one of the Indonesian government's strategic efforts to improve the health and welfare of toddlers through community-based health services. Posyandu Balita has provided services such as monitoring child growth and development, immunization, administering vitamin A, and health education for mothers and families. The involvement of all components of society in the implementation of Posyandu Balita Widuri is very much needed, such as policymakers, community leaders, health workers, health cadres, academics, and the community to create synergy in posyandu services that can be felt by the entire community. This research aims to find out and identify the optimality of Posyandu Balita for cross-sector support in Salakan Potorono Hamlet.Methods: The method used is qualitative by conducting interviews with resource persons consisting of Community Health Center Health Workers, Head of Salakan Hamlet, Health Cadres, and the Community who regularly carry out Posyandu Balita.Results: The results obtained from the interview were that the service at the Posyandu Balita was excellent because it was by the posyandu service flow determined by the Ministry of Health. Apart from that, support from health workers such as providing health education training and posyandu services to health cadres, carrying out monthly monitoring and evaluation of posyandu services, and advocating to local governments to create excellent posyandu services for toddlers. Support from the Hamlet Head has also been implemented optimally, such as the use of village funds for posyandu activities and the welfare of Health cadres. Health cadres involved in posyandu activities have maximally carried out their obligations. Health cadres always increase capacity in knowledge and implementation in posyandu services. So that the community can feel the benefits of the posyandu activities that are carried out every month.Conclusion: The conclusion in this research is that Posyandu Balita Widuri is located in Salakan Potorono Hamlet, Banguntapan, Bantul has been optimal in terms of health services because of the support from across sectors that have played a role so far.

Abstract

Tanah di wilayah Kecamatan Gedangsari mengandung batuan kapur. Masyarakat di daerah ini banyak yang mengkonsumsi air minum dari sumur gali yang mengandung kadar kalsium tinggi, dan banyak yang menderita urolithiasis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran distribusi kalsium atau Ca(OH)2 pada air sumur dan menjelaskan hubungannya dengan kejadian urolithiasis. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Gedangsari, Kabupaten Gunungkidul selama Juli sampai November 2013. Penelitian dilakukan secara potong lintang dengan konfirmasi uji titrasi di laboratorium. Sejumlah 94 sampel sumur dipilih secara acak dari populasi 3.849 sumur. Kriteria pemilihan sampel adalah sumur gali yang telah digunakan untuk minum oleh penduduk berusia lebih dari 30 tahun, dengan kedalaman kurang dari 15 meter. Pemeriksaan laboratorium kadar kalsium dilakukan dengan titrasi. Dugaan urolithiasis didiagnosis melalui pemeriksaan klinis oleh dokter. Data dianalisis dengan uji kai kuadrat. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hubungan antara kesadahan air dengan urolithiasis (RP= 2.27) namun tidak bermakna secara statistik. Konsumsi air putih, usia, dan lama tinggal tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian urolithiasis di Kecamatan Gedangsari Kabupaten Gunungkidul. The land in Gedangsari Subdistrict area composes of limestone. Many local people consume drinking water from wells that contain high levels of calcium. Many people suffer from urolithiasis. This study aimed to describe calcium or Ca(OH)2 distribution in the well water and explain its relation with urolithiasis incidence. This study was conducted in Gedangsari Subdistrict, Gunung Kidul District from July to November 2013. The study was cross sectional confirmed with titration test in laboratory. Samples were 94 wells of 3,849 well population as selected randomly. Criteria of sample selection included wells used for drinking by the population aged older than 30 years already, with less than 15 meter of depth. Laboratory test of Ca (OH)2 level was conducted by titration. Suspect urolithiasis was clinically diagnosed by doctor and data analysis used chi-square test. Results showed relation between water hardness and urolithiasis (RP = 2.27), although statistically not significant. In conclusion, there was no relation between mineral water consumption, age, and length of stay with urolithiasis incidence in Gedangsari Subdistrict, Gunungkidul District.

Abstract

Kasus kenakalan yang dilakukan remaja di Yogyakarya seperti ugal-ugalan, tawuran antar sekolah maupun antar kampung, mengkonsumsi minuman keras, narkoba, hamil diluar nikah. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan di SMK Sadewa Kabupaten Sleman, siswa belum pernah mendapatkan layanan informasi mengenai kesehatan remaja baik mengenai kesehatan reprodruksi, gizi, kenakalan remaja, PHBS, dan pencegahan dan penanganan kekerasan seksual. Permasalahan remaja menjadi tantangan khusus bagi orangtua, institusi pendidikan dan institusi sosial dalam melakukan pengarahan dan bimbingan kepada remaja. Kebanyakan remaja lebih memilih untuk tidak berbagi cerita saat menghadapi suatu masalah. Pelatihan peran sebaya untuk memberikan edukasi terkait kesehatan di SMK Sadewa Kabupaten Sleman menjadi urgen. Peran teman sebaya dapat membantu memberikan informasi pada temannya agar dapat mengatasi situasi masalah kesehatan remaja yang dihadapinya sampai saat ini. Solusi yang direncanakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi adalah melakukan Pelatihan Peer Educator terkait masalah masalah yang dihadapi Remaja untuk siswa/siswi yang ditunjuk sebagai PIC Peer Edukator di masing masing kelas (Kelas X, XI, XII) di lingkungan SMK Sadewa Yogyakarta. Pelatihan peer Education dapat memberikan pengetahuan tentang permasalahan kesehatan remaja. Peer educator menjadi fasilitas bagi remaja untuk memahami tentang berbagai informasi Kesehatan.

Abstract

Background of Study: Boarding School are Islamic education dormitories that need attention about health because many students live in them. Boarding schools are strategic place to increase students’ knowledge about health to change attitudes and behavior of individual hygiene. This can be implemented by providing health education for students by instilling clean and healthy living behavior to improve healthy living skills from an early age. The aim of this study was to correlate clean and healthy living behavior of high school students in Ibnul Qoyyim Boarding School for Boys. Methods: Research design used in this study was cross sectional. Population in this research was all high school students in Ibnul Qoyyim Boarding School for boys. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique, so the samples taken were 86 students with inclusion criteria.  Data analysis used SPSS application with Chi-square test (p < 0,05) to correlate health education with clean and healthy living behavior by 8 indicators from Ministry of Health Indonesia. Results: The most respondent were 16 years old (30.2%). And 72% have received Health Education but only 12,8% have applied clean and healthy living behavior. The result of statistical test showed that there was no correlation in correlation between health education with clean and healthy living behavior (p value = 0.681; PR = 1.180).  But, from Prevalence Ratio value, the implementation of health education is a factor that can affect PHBS in students by 1,180 times compared to students who have not received health education for the last 6 months. Conclusion: There was no correlation between health education with clean and healthy living behavior of high school students in Ibnul Qoyyim Boarding School for Boys.
