Abstract

Organisasi nirlaba sebagai penggerak terbesar ke-3 perekonomian nasional, bukan tanpa masalah. Tim pengabdi menganalisis akar dari problem organisasi nirlaba: 1) Terbatasnya sumber finansial organisasi. 2) Manajemen organisasi yang tidak efektif. 3) Kurangnya keterampilan kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu menanggulangi problem tersebut dan menjadikan organiasi nirlaba lebih sustainable menggunakan model manajemen “Dual-Core” yang merepresentasikan dua core (inti): core kewirausahaan, dan core perencanaan organisasi. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis research and development. Metode pengamatan pra-pelatihan dan paska-pelatihan, dengan alat bantu checklist dipergunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Dua organisasi nirlaba menjadi organisasi mitra pengembangan ini. Berdasarkan program penelitian dan pengembangan tersebut, tim peneliti mendapatkan hasil bahwa kedua organisasi menunjukkan progres pada “core kewirausahaan” yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya berbagai aktivitas wirausaha dalam organisasi tersebut. Pada “core perencanaan organisasi”, kedua organisasi tersebut tampak belum merestrukturisasi manajemen dan belum menempatkan wirausaha sebagai divisi strategisnya. Hal itu akibat dari pengamatan paska-pelatihan yang dilakukan hanya satu bulan setelah pelatihan manajemen Dual-Core untuk organisasi nirlaba

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah bagian dari program research and development multitahun dengan tujuan akhir yaitu memiliki model akselerasi penyelesaian skripsi pada mahasiswa S1 Psikologi. Pada tahun pertama,  penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan lamanya masa penyelesaian skripsi pada mahasiswa psikologi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah lembaga penyelenggara program studi psikologi S1 di Semarang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, dan data penelitian diolah menggunakan analisis koding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata mahasiswa psikologi memerlukan waktu dua semester untuk menyelesaikan skripsinya. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penyelesaian skripsi, yaitu: kebijakan fakultas dalam penyelesaian skripsi, kendala-kendala dalam menuntaskan skripsi, dan usaha mahasiswa dalam merampungkan skripsinya. Dengan hasil tersebut, penyusunan model akselerasi penyelesaian skripsi adalah saran yang urgen untuk ditindaklanjuti.

Abstract

Conflicts between groups in Indonesia continue to occur, and diverse studies have attempted to find solutions. As one of the efforts to find these solutions, this research focuses on national identity development as a long-term effort to establish an inclusive national identity to reduce conflict between groups. This study aimed to provide an overview of the national identity development process implemented in public and private elementary schools. The data collection methods employed were observation, interviews, and document analysis. Coding analysis is applied to sort the data and generate themes for the findings. The empirical findings and discussion generate the following conclusions: First, efforts to develop a national identity in public and private elementary schools run comprehensively through cognitive aspects (thoughts, understanding, and principles), affective aspects (attitudes and appreciation), and behavioral aspects (actions and habits). These three aspects are well implemented in the school’s vision, curriculum, subject matter, learning process, non-academic activities, and social life. Second, there are kinds of national identities such as national symbols, religious identity, ethnic identity, and environmental identity. However, national identity and religious identity are boldly emphasized. This is to anticipate the tension between national identity and religious identity, which might stimulate conflict between identities. Therefore, national and religious identities are socialized as two unified identities. Finally, the success rate of the development of national identity in schools varies due to various factors. However, this is a prospect for further research, especially in schools, families, and society.

Abstract

This article seeks to chart the outcomes of empirical research on religious moderation within the family. The issue behind this research arises from the dearth of publications that accentuate the findings of empirical studies in this domain. The primary objective is to comprehend previous discoveries and lay the groundwork for subsequent empirical investigations into the theme of religious moderation within the family. Employing the scoping review to achieve the research objective, this research explicitly targets empirical articles concerning family religious moderation. The literature search on Google Scholar focuses on publications spanning the past decade (2013-2023). The selection of literature adheres to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Following these guidelines, 18 articles were chosen for comprehensive review. The results of the research polarise on three key themes, including religious moderation within the family, fostering tolerance and non-violence values, as well as religious moderation education. Although the existing empirical research about religious moderation remains limited and widely open for further research, it can be concluded that it  forms the foundational bedrock for cultivating robust and tolerant relationships within the family.

Abstract

Communication between parents and children is essential in helping children's development and the psychology of children. Scientific research on this theme has also been conducted with varying results. However, efforts to perform a scoping of these studies remain limited. Therefore, this article aims to examine the literature on the theme of communication patterns between parents and children to generate dynamics comprehensively from the findings of previous studies and serve as inspiration for future studies. This study applied a scoping review method. The search and collection of literature is derived from the Google Scholar page based on the publications of the last ten years (2013-2023). The selected literature was evaluated using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA). Based on these steps, 38 literatures were selected for review. The scoping review resulted in four significant discussions: The communication patterns between parents and children on child development, the child's environment, sexuality, and internal family relationships. Furthermore, communication disclosure and democratic/authoritative communication patterns consistently contribute positively to the relationship between parents and children. The implications of the findings and research opportunities are discussed further.

Abstract

The issuance of MUI Fatwa number 83 of 2023, addressing the Law and Support for the Palestinian Struggle, has elicited diverse reactions from the public. Some view it as a means of expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people's struggle against colonialism. In contrast, others harbor skepticism due to potential negative repercussions, especially for Muslim families targeted by the fatwa. Consequently, this study aims to assess the support of Muslim families for MUI Fatwa No. 23 of 2023, particularly those directly impacted and unaffected by the fatwa. Employing a quantitative-qualitative method, this research uses psychological and philosophical approach by utilizing attitude and Maqashid theory. The research utilized a Likert scale measuring support for the MUI fatwa, validated and tested for reliability. The scale was administered through the Google Form application in an online distribution. The study involved 176 Muslim families, encompassing both those affected and unaffected by the fatwa. Overall, the findings indicate a moderate level (mean 62,81). It covered 35,8% of the respondent's support for the MUI fatwa among Muslim families. Post hoc analysis revealed a significantly higher mean for the affective aspect (3.94) compared to the cognitive (3.75) and behavioral aspects (3.65), emphasizing the emotional nature of the support. Furthermore, a comparison of support between affected (64.02) and unaffected (62.3) families revealed an insignificant difference (p-value 0.152 > 0.05). In the perspective attitude theory, the Muslim family's response to the MUI fatwa falls within the moderate range and leans towards an emotional rather than cognitive and behavioral inclination. In the Maqashid perspective, they tend to fight for the value of human protection (hifdh an-nafs) for themselves and their families. On the one hand they also condemn Israel's crimes against Palestinians. Here it can be stated that their attitude and legal consciousness in the cognitive aspect is not comparable to the practical aspect.

Abstract

The family context in the strengthening religious moderation policy by the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) has not become a top priority compared to the social and educational contexts. In the research context as well, the theme of the method of developing the religious moderation value in the family context remains limited. Therefore, this study aims to explore those themes for mapping the previous research and drawing opportunities for future research. This research is library research based on books and previous research. The results show that the methods for developing religious moderation values in the family remain limited in the mean of the number of studies, method diversity, and research type. The implications of these findings are discussed further. [Konteks keluarga dalam policy penguatan moderasi beragama oleh Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) belum menjadi prioritas utama dibandingkan konteks sosial dan pendidikan. Demikian pula dalam konteks penelitian, tema metode pengembangan nilai moderasi beragama dalam konteks keluarga masih sangat terbatas. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi hasil-hasil penelitian dari tema tersebut untuk memetakan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dan peluang bagi peneliti-peneliti berikutnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka berdasarkan buku dan penelitian terdahulu. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penelitian-penelitian bertema metode pengembangan nilai moderasi beragama dalam keluarga masih terbatas dalam hal jumlah penelitian, ragam metode, dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan. Abstract

Education of values in children in the family is essential in forming future generations' character and morality. In the context of Indonesian society, knowledge of educational values in Muslim families is critical because of their position as majority community members. Apart from that, efforts to examine the results of empirical research on the theme of values education in Muslim families in Indonesia are still limited. Therefore, this article aims to explore the results of empirical research on the theme of values education in Muslim families and compile them into a narrative. This research uses the scoping review method. Literature exploration sourced from Google Scholar (scholar.google.co.id) with a search range of the last ten years (2013-2023) on 09 November 2023. The literature was selected based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA) steps. These steps resulted in 23 articles that met the criteria for review. The results of empirical research related to values education for children in Muslim families focus on four themes: implementation of values in the family environment, children's environment, internal family relationships, and the urgency of teaching religion to children. The implications of the results are discussed further.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of academic burnout among university students in Indonesia necessitates a deeper understanding of its associated factors. This study aims to examine the relationship between hardiness, grit, and academic burnout among architecture students in Surabaya. Utilizing a quantitative correlational approach, the research involved 245 architecture students enrolled in public universities across Surabaya, selected through disproportionate stratified random sampling. The Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) was employed to measure academic burnout, while hardiness was assessed using the Dispositional Resilience Scale (DRS-15-Revised), and grit was measured through Angela Duckworth’s Grit Scale (2009). The findings indicate that hardiness and grit are simultaneously negatively associated with academic burnout. The regression analysis revealed a negative coefficient, suggesting that higher levels of hardiness and grit are associated with lower levels of academic burnout.
