Abstract

The Human Centered Design method is a method used to better understand the user's comfort and convenience in using a service. In this research, the case study for applying this method is psychology services for students of the Faculty of Science and Technology. This method is usually used in creating UI/UX designs to help designers get to know users better through the level of comfort and convenience that users want when using the services they create. This research aims to apply and test whether the Human Centered Design method is good or not in designing psychological services. It is hoped that the implementation of the Human Centered Design method will be able to test whether this method is suitable for use in designing psychological services for Faculty of Science and Technology students. It is hoped that the results of this research will become new knowledge regarding the application of the Human Centered Design method in case studies of psychological services for students of the Faculty of Science and Technology and can be applied in other case studies.

Abstract

Aquaponic is an important aquaculture technique because it is easy to apply, saves water, and allows the integration of plant roots to absorb waste nitrogen from fish waste as nutrients. However, temperature, pH, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and water level greatly affect plant growth. This research aims to design a control system to monitor plant nutrition and development in real-time using temperature, pH, TDS, and ultrasonic sensors and apply Tsukamoto Fuzzy model to overcome uncertainty in decision making based on sensor data. This research uses a quantitative approach with a design and development method. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with aquaponic farmers, and related literature studies. The designed system successfully fulfills the need to control and monitor nutrients in aquaponic systems effectively. The system utilizes an ESP8266 module and various sensors (pH, TDS/PPM, temperature, and water level) to monitor water conditions in real-time and send the data to Firebase, which is then displayed on the application interface. Automatic control allows for quick adjustments to changing environmental conditions, ensuring an optimal environment for plant growth.

Abstract

The process of selecting students for educational assistance in schools is still frequently performed manually by comparing individual student data. This approach is time-consuming and vulnerable to subjectivity and human error. To address this issue, this study developed a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) algorithm to cluster students based on their eligibility level for aid. FCM is chosen due to its capability to categorize data into multiple clusters based on data similarity. Seven evaluation criteria were employed: father's income, mother's income, father's education, mother's education, birth order, number of siblings, and type of transportation to school. The dataset consists of student information that was preprocessed and weighted based on a predefined scale. Clustering was conducted with a maximum iteration of 100 and an error tolerance of 0.00001. The results indicate that FCM successfully grouped the students into two clusters, with 487 students classified as eligible for assistance and 202 students as ineligible. To validate the clustering, the results were compared with the official Dapodik dataset, which demonstrated a high degree of consistency. Therefore, the implementation of FCM in this decision support system has proven to be effective in producing objective, accurate, and efficient classifications.

Abstract

Abstrak - Proses penentuan kelayakan penerima zakat, infaq, dan sedekah (ZIS) di BAZNAS Kabupaten Bone sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manual, yang memerlukan waktu lama, rawan kesalahan, dan kurang transparan. Penelitian ini membangun sebuah Sistem Informasi Penentuan Kelayakan Mustahik berbasis metode Višekriterijumsko Kompromisno Rangiranje (VIKOR) untuk membantu proses perangkingan mustahik secara objektif dan efisien. Sistem ini menggunakan sebelas kriteria utama yang meliputi aspek ekonomi, sosial, dan kondisi keluarga mustahik. Pengembangan sistem menerapkan pendekatan prototype sehingga pengguna dapat memberikan masukan secara langsung pada setiap tahap perancangan, evaluasi, dan penyempurnaan sistem. Hasil pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa seluruh modul termasuk login, tambah data mustahik, detail data, halaman data, dan perhitungan perangkingan VIKOR berfungsi sesuai harapan, menghasilkan output yang akurat, mudah dipahami, dan mendukung keputusan penyaluran ZIS. Sistem terbukti mampu menyederhanakan proses verifikasi data, mengurangi potensi kesalahan manusia, dan mempercepat waktu seleksi hingga 80%. Mustahik yang berada pada peringkat prioritas tinggi sesuai dengan kondisi nyata di lapangan, menunjukkan bahwa perangkingan sistem selaras dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, sistem ini meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan ZIS di BAZNAS Kabupaten Bone. Kata kunci : VIKOR; Sistem Pendukung Keputusan; ZIS; Baznas;   Abstract - The process of determining the eligibility of zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) recipients at BAZNAS Bone Regency was previously conducted manually, which was time-consuming, error-prone, and lacked transparency. This research develops a Mustahik Eligibility Determination Information System based on the Višekriterijumsko Kompromisno Rangiranje (VIKOR) method to facilitate an objective and efficient ranking process. The system utilizes eleven key criteria encompassing economic, social, and family conditions of the mustahik. The system development follows a prototype approach, allowing users to provide direct input during the design, evaluation, and refinement stages. System testing results indicate that all modules—including login, add mustahik data, data details, data pages, and VIKOR ranking calculations—function as expected, producing accurate, comprehensible output that supports ZIS distribution decisions. The system is proven to simplify the data verification process, reduce potential human errors, and accelerate selection time by up to 80%. Mustahik at high priority ranks align with actual field conditions, demonstrating that the system's ranking is consistent with community needs. Consequently, this system enhances the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of ZIS management at BAZNAS Bone Regency. Keywords: VIKOR; Decision Support System; ZIS;
