Abstract

After learning Indonesian sentences, it can be concluded that students are less focused on learning. When the researcher explained the material, some students were not interested in listening to the explanation. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the Cooperative Learning learning model using video media to increase learning motivation. This Class Action Research was conducted in 2 cycles. Based on The test results obtained at the end of each cycle, shows that there is a significant increase in Indonesian learning outcomes. Starting from the pre-cycle, initially 22.22% achieved completeness or above the KKM, then in cycle, I there was an increase of 66.67%, and in cycle II there was an increase of 88.89% in fulfilling the KKM. So it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning models with video media can increase student motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of digital-based counseling services on students' character development and academic achievement in Jember Regency. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative method, the study involved 250 junior and senior high school students selected through stratified random sampling. The research instruments included the Emotional Intelligence Scale (EIS) to measure character development and the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS) to assess learning motivation and academic performance. The results revealed significant improvements in students' character dimensions, with empathy scoring the highest (4.3), followed by emotional regulation (4.1) and self-awareness (4.2). On the academic side, the students' average grades increased from 75.4 to 82.1, supported by a 16.7% increase in intrinsic motivation. The study also highlighted challenges such as technological infrastructure disparities in rural areas, affecting access to digital counseling services. This research concludes that digital-based counseling services effectively support holistic student development, both in character and academic achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Gambaran Student Well-Being dalam Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling pada Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dan bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep kesejahteraan siswa dalam penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) di Kabupaten Bondowoso. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh topik pertemuan MGBK di Kabupaten Bondowoso terkait kondisi siswa di sekolah dengan adanya pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, serta kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan dampak positif pada kesejahteraan siswa dengan meningkatkan fleksibilitas pembelajaran dan metode interaktif yang mengurangi beban tugas serta kegiatan belajar praktik di luar kelas. Dukungan sekolah yang memadai dan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif sangat penting untuk efektivitas kurikulum ini. Meskipun penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka berjalan dengan baik, terdapat kendala dalam pengalaman dan penyesuaian peran guru BK serta dukungan dari wali siswa dalam mendukung perkembangan siswa secara optimal. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran mengenai dampak dari implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka terhadap kesejahteraan siswa dan diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar untuk pengambilan kebijakan atau penelitian lebih lanjut dalam bidang terkait. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teori dan dapat bermanfaat bagi pemerintah serta akademisi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan layanan bimbingan konseling.

Abstract

Someone with high self-confidence tends to believe they can find answers to the obstacles they face. On the other hand, individuals with low self-confidence will feel that they cannot solve the problems they face. Based on the phenomenon found at SMPN 02 Silo school, some students have low levels of self-confidence, including being nervous when meeting new people, shy when asked questions, and not daring to express opinions. With this phenomenon, the research aims to increase students' self-confidence. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a PTBK design. The respondents studied were 28 students, with 6 students selected using purposive sampling as samples. The data collection method was carried out using a questionnaire. From the results of observations of the service action process, it was discovered that the level of student self-confidence increased in each research cycle, in cycle I it reached a percentage of 66% of the sample in the medium category (81-120), then in the second cycle the percentage of students had reached 83% of the sample in the high category (121-160), so it can be said that providing guidance services for the reframing technique group was able to increase the self-confidence of class VIII B students at SMPN 02 Silo. __________________________________________________________________Seseorang dengan Self-confidence tinggi cenderung yakin bahwa mereka mampu untuk mencari jawaban atas kendala yang mereka hadapi. Sebaliknya, seseorang dengan Self-confidence rendah sering merasa tidak mampu untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi. Berdasarkan fenomena yang ditemukan di sekolah SMPN 02 Silo bahwa sebagian siswa memiliki tingkat Self-confidence yang rendah diantaranya gugup ketika bertemu orang baru, malu ketika ditanya, serta tidak berani mengungkapkan pendapat. Dengan adanya fenomena tersebut maka tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan Self-confidence siswa. Metode penelitian menggunaakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain PTBK. Responden yang diteliti berjumlah 28 siswa, dengan 6 siswa dipilih secara purposive sampling sebagai sampel. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner. Pada hasil pengamatan proses tindakan layanan diketahui bahwa tingkat Self-confidence siswa meningkat pada tiap siklus penelitian, pada siklus I mencapai persentase 66% sampel dalam kategori sedang (81-120), kemudian pada siklus ke II persentase siswa telah mencapai 83% sampel dalam kategori tinggi (121-160), Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan layanan bimbingan kelompok teknik reframing mampu meningkatkan Self-confidence siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 02 Silo.
