This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of self-instruction and reframing group counselling techniques to improve students' self-confidence. Those techniques were done twice in each group counselling service. To cover up the implementation of the techniques, this study used randomized pretest-posttest comparison group design involving 14 students having low self-confidence chosen from 99 students by using purposive sampling technique. Once the data collection and data analysis were done, this study found that both self-instruction and reframing group counselling techniques have the same effectiveness in improving the self-confidence of the tenth grade students of Online Business and Marketing Department of State Vocational High School (SMK Negeri) 4 Jember. At last, the discussion of this paper is focused on examining the possibilities of the implementation of self-instruction and reframing group counselling techniques in SMK Negeri 4 Jember

This study aims to determine the relationship between parents’ democratic parenting and students’ career decision-making ability at SMAN 3 Jember. This quantitative descriptive correlational research sampled 100 students out of 152 population of class XII student at SMAN 3 Jember using proportionate random sampling technique. From the results of the descriptive analysis, the average level of students’ career decision-making ability is included in the high category with a percentage of 70.94% and the average level of parents’ democratic parenting is included in the good category of 76.08%. The results of the correlation statistical analysis obtained the correlation coefficient r = 0.481 (r> 0.195) with a significance of p = 0.000 (p <0.05). The discussion in this study was directed to find out the applications of parents’ democratic parenting with career decision-making abilitiy in class XII of SMAN 3 Jember. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengklarifikasi hasil temuan terdahulu berkaitan dengan pengaruh kemampuan perencanaan karir terdapat motivasi belajar peserta didik yang ditinjau dari faktor budaya. Penelitian saat ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei desain cross-sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMK di Kabupaten Jember. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 346 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen skala psikologis Kemampuan Perencanaan Karir (KPK) dan Skala Motivasi Belajar (SMB). Analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi linier dengan bantuan aplikasi pengolah data statistik IBM SPSS Statistics. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar merupakan prediktor dari kemampuan perencaanaan karir peserta didik. Layanan konseling karir sangat dibutuhkan untuk menyamakan persepsi anak dan orang tua terhadap pilihan karir anak. ___________________________________________________________________ The purpose of this study was to clarify the results of previousfindings related to the influence of career planning abilities on students learning motivation in terms of cultural factors. The current study applies a quantitative approach through a cross sectional survey design. The population in this study were SMK students in Jember regency. The sample of this study amounted to 346 people. The sampling technique used is cross sectional sampling. The data collection technique used the psychological scale instrument of career palnning ability and learning motivation scale. Data analysis used linear regression technique with the help of statistical data processing application IBM SPSS statistics. The result showed that learning motivation is a predictor of students career planning abilities. Career counseling services are urgently needed to equalize the perception of children and parents on childrens career choices

Penelitian tentang Implementasi layanan Bimbingan Kelompok dengan Teknik Self Management dalam meningkatkan Self Control siswa kelas VIII MTs Ma’arif Annur Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 dengan sampel sebanyak 7 siswa dari 25 siswa yang dipilih berdasarkan Random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, serta tes. Dan analisa data dengan model Miles & Huberman melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Self Control dari pra siklus di peroleh skor 387 dengan rata-rata presentase 45% berada pada kategori rendah, siklus I memperoleh skor total 504 dengan rata-rata presentase 64% berada pada kategori sedang, dan pada siklus II memperoleh skor total 642 berada pada presentase 78% berada pada kategori sedang tinggi, jadi dari pra siklus, siklus I, siklus II hasilnya 45% menjadi 78% ada peningkatan 33%. Berdasarkan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik Self Management dapat meningkatkan Self Control siswa kelas VIII MTs Ma’arif Annur Jember Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022.

Independence of career decision making is independent attitude in making career decisions. Independent attitudes are confidence, responsibility, do not need helping to each other, turn and develop themselves, to be diligent, creative, initiative people. Classical career guidance service is career guidance service in the class. This research goal is to know the increase of students’ total that having the high independence level of career decision making. This research uses counseling guide action research as research type and questionnaire as research method. Data analyst use percentage formula. The research subject is XI TSM2 student of SMK Berdikari Jember with 11 students. The result of the research is 4 students (37%) in before cycle I, 5 students (46%) in after cycle I, 6 students (55%) in before cycle II and 8 students (73%) in after cycle II. This shows that students’ total that having high independence level of career decision making is increase. Keywords: career decision making; career guidance.

Outreach Counseling Group to lose the aggressive behaviour of the students In Class VII A MTs Al - Ma'arif Wuluhan Jember Years 2017/2018 Lessons. with the respondents examined as many as 26 students. Data collection methods used are observation and question form, data analysis used are descriptive data analsis. Based on the results of preliminary observations by the now major data and obtain the percentage by number of self concept of students in all schools amounted to 73%, after being given the action cycle I aggressive behavior of students in schools has decreased by a large percentage 42%, having resumed on cycle II level of aggressive behavior has decreased with a large percentage of 20%. Thus the conclusion, delivery of counselling services group indicates that aggressive behavior of students in schools has decreased. Research activities have been successfully categorized karna percentages under the indicators of success that has been set by 25% percentage of aggressive behavior in schools. Thus with the granting of group counseling services can reduce aggressive behavior of students in Class VII A in MTs Al - Ma'arif Dukuh Dempok Wuluhan school year 2017/2018. Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) is acounseling approach designeg to solve counsclee problems at this time by way of cognitive restructuring and deviant behavior. Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) counseling techniques used in indonesia are mind capture, reality testing, cognitive exercices and alternatif search while the motivation to learn is a factor that is unique to arouse or enthusiasm of learning so have a lot of energy to do learning activities. Learning motivation is devided in to namely intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. This recearch was conduected in class VIII B MTs ASHRI Jember with the research subject of 30 famale students, but the researcher can only study 10 students who have low learning motivation. Based on analysis show that there is an increase in motivation to learn class VIII B MTs ASHRI Jember after getting counseling service Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT)with percentage of 71%. This study was conducted to determine the extent of the effectiveness of home room engineering group guidance services to improve cohesiveness of students in class XII Science 2 of SMA Negeri 3 Jember. The research method used is an experimental method with one group pretest and posttest design research design. The method of determining the sample using purposive sampling, namely determining the sample based on specified criteria. Based on the results of the pretest conducted, obtained 6 counselees who will be the research sample. The data analysis method uses t-test analysis. This research was conducted by providing home room engineering group guidance services 5 times, with materials that have been prepared in accordance with indicators of cohesiveness and analysis of student needs. Based on the data analysis, the results of the t-test sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.05. So Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, with the conclusion that the home room engineering group guidance service was effective in increasing the cohesiveness of students of class XII Science 2 of SMA Negeri 3 Jember. Bullying that occurs in a school environment can cause psychological problems for victims in their social life. Researchers conducted research in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Jember and the analysis results obtained rxy value is 0.7178. This figure is greater than the r table at the 0.05 significance level, namely 0.1809, with the number of respondents (N) = 118. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational research, using a purposive random sampling technique of 118 samples consisting of 5 classes. By using a significance level of 0.05 with the questionnaire research method, interviews and documentation, data analysis using the product moment correlation formula. These results provide an understanding that the null hypothesis (Ho) which reads "There is no effect of bullying on the psychosocial condition of class XI IPA students of SMA Negeri 3 Jember" is rejected. Meanwhile, the working hypothesis (Ha, which reads "There is an effect of bullying on the psychosocial condition of class XI IPA students of SMA Negeri 3 Jember" can be accepted. Penelitian tentang Upaya menurunkan Burnout Belajar melalui Konseling Kelompok Teknik Reframing pada siswa kelas VII Mts. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi serta angket. Untuk analisis datanya menggunakan analisis deskritptif persentase dan data kualitatif untuk mengetahui penuruanan burnout yang dialami siswa kelas VII Mts Bustanul Ulum Panti Jember. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian layanan konseling kelompok teknik reframing pada siswa mampu menurunkan burnout belajar yang dialami siswa kelas VII Mts. Bustanul Ulum Panti Jember Tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Dalam skripsi ini juga memberikan saran demi kesempurnaan penelitian selanjutnya dan penutup merupakan akhir dari laporan penelitian skirpsi ini
