Abstract

The emergence of the Saudi government's policy of allowing women to drive alone these days has become an interesting phenomenon to be examined, since before they forbid women to drive without a mahram. Since the appointment of the crown prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Saudi government appears more dynamic and moderate. This new policy is in place to promote the development of the country with and to give women the right to participate freely in it. Observers see this as a political agenda of government, where with the political interest is expected Saudi Arabia can compete in the increasingly tight global economic competition. This article examines the policies of the Saudi Arabian government thoroughly from a social, economic, and political standpoint.Munculnya kebijakan pemerintahan Saudi Arabia yang membolehkan perempuan untuk berkendara sendiri akhir-akhir ini menjadi fenomena yang menarik untuk diteliti, sebab sebelumnya mereka melarang perempuan berkendara tanpa mahram. Semenjak diangkatnya putera mahkota Salman bin Abdul Aziz, pemerintahan Saudi tampil lebih dinamis dan moderat. Kebijakan baru ini diberlakukan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan negara dengan dan untuk memberikan hak terhadap perempuan agar dapat berperan bebas di dalamnya. Para pengamat melihat ini sebagai agenda politik pemerintahan, dimana dengan kepentingan politik tersebut diharapkan Saudi Arabia dapat ikut bersaing dalam kompetisi ekonomi global yang semakin ketat. Artikel ini mengamati kebijakan pemerintah Saudi Arabia ini secara menyeluruh dari sudut pandang sosial, ekonomi, dan politik.

Abstract

Learning Arabic always presents something that needs to be studied in depth, so the researcher researched in depth the concept of learning Arabic. This is because there are many versions of the concept of learning Arabic, so the researcher formulated the problem of how the concept of learning Arabic according to Ibn Khaldun and Azhar Arsyad, with The aim of the research is to find out in detail the similarities and differences regarding the concept of learning Arabic according to the two figures, through library research analysis with a comparative approach which is intended to compare the concepts of learning Arabic between the two figures, using the documentation method, based on the researcher's analysis, it was found that the similarities are found in the discussion. About language itself, and agreed about language as a means of communication, and guidance for students, while the results of the analysis of the differences are in the readiness of students, and the experience of students in previous sciences that students have obtained, with these results the researcher concludes Ibn Khaldun is more selective in the concept of learning Arabic, in the sense that religious knowledge and Arabic should not be combined into one unit, while Azhar Arsyad is exactly the opposite of what Ibn Khaldun expressed, Azhar Arsyad is of the view that students must first know their background. Knowledge, whether it is related to religion or not, it certainly cannot be separated between Arabic language knowledge and religion

Abstract

Learning Arabic is learning a foreign language which is considered difficult by most students, even though learning Arabic is actually easy. A lesson requires the use of learning strategies so that students do not find it difficult. Arabic learning strategies are carried out so that students can receive material more effectively and efficiently. The choice of strategy must be based on the language proficiency taught to students. This type of research is research that uses a qualitative approach conducted at the Nahdlatul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School. In this study, data was collected through observation and documentation. The results obtained in the research field are In designing learning strategies there are several components that must be considered, namely preliminary learning activities, information delivery, student participation, tests, and follow-up activities. Arabic language learning strategies based on language proficiency are divided into six, namely mufradat learning strategies, tarkib learning strategies, istima' learning strategies, kalam learning strategies, qira'ah learning strategies, and kitabah learning strategies.

Abstract

Reading skill is one of main skills in Arabic learning. The problems of learning in Arabic Language Education Study Program in Islamic Institute of Ma’arif NU Metro Lampung isthe method and its use in teaching the skill of reading.It is still taught in grammar translation method and direct method, which were categorized as traditional approach and method.This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of reading skill material based on experiential learning model to improve the students' reading comprehension. Quantitative research was used in this research. This research emphasized on the result of students' abilities from the specific and field experience, and conducting the pretest and post test.The objectives of this researchwas to measure the effectiveness reading skill material based on Experiential Learning model in improving the reading comprehension with 25 participants from students. The results was found thatthe reading material which is developed based on experiental learning model has given significant influence for the improvement in reading skill of student, it could be seen from the reading study result improvement of Arabic Language Education in Islamic Instituteof Ma’arif NU Metro Lampung. This research found thatExperiential Learninghas the significant impact to improve basic reading skill of students.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Edmodo-based e-learning media integrated with Macromedia Flash 08 for middle school students on sequences and series. The development of this media used a 3-D model (Define, Design, Develop) and focused on assessing the resulting product's validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Validation results showed that the developed learning media were highly valid, with a validity score of 4.68 from media experts and 4.62 from material experts. Regarding practicality, this media was deemed easy to use by teachers (score 4.53) and students (score 4.48). The media's effectiveness was also evident in the student learning achievement rate of 95% and the average positive student response rate of 89%. This learning media increased student interest and motivation in learning mathematics and made learning more engaging and interactive. However, there are challenges such as internet connection stability and the time required to access materials through Edmodo and Macromedia Flash. Overall, Edmodo-based e-learning media combined with Macromedia Flash 08 is a suitable alternative to support mathematics learning in the digital age.
