Abstract

PT SMC Co-Design merupakan suatu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang research and development sistem mikroelektonika. Dalam menjalankan bisnisnya PT SMC Co-Design belum merencanakan menggunakan dan pemanfaatan SI/TI secara tepat sehingga divisi SI/TI tidak terarah dalam mendukung strategi bisnis perusahaan. Strategi bisnis dan strategi SI/TI sangatlah dibutuhkan untuk menunjang operasional bisnis perusahaan. Perencanaan strategi sistem informasi merupakan salah satu kunci dalam pencapaian sasaran peru Model perencanaan strategis sistem informasi yang dibahas dalam tesis ini adalah menggunakan pendekatan metode Ward and Peppard. Metode Ward and Peppard merupakan sebuah model yang digunakan untuk menyusun sebuah perencanaan strategis sistem informasi pada suatu perusahaan industri. Dengan menggunakan metode ini berbagai faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap organisasi, baik internal maupun eksternal dianalisis untuk mendapatkan sebuah formula yang menjadi dasar dalam penyusunan strategi SI/TI dalam bentuk portofolio aplikasi PT SMC Co-Design mendatang. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan pada tahap pengumpulan data yaitu dengan melakukan studi pustaka, observasi langsung, melakukan wawancara, dan memberikan kuesioner kepada pihak yang terkait di perusahaan. Kemudian tahap analisis menggunakan metode analisis PEST, analisis Five Competitive Forces Porter, analisis value chain, analisis BCG Matriks, analisis MOST, analisis Resource Audit, analisis SWOT, analisis Critical Success Factors dan analisis McFarlan Strategic Grid. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini yaitu usulan perumusan visi dan misi bisnis mendatang, perumusan visi dan misi SI/TI mendatang, pemetaan struktur organisasi mendatang, perumusan kebutuhan sistem informasi/aplikasi mendatang, dan portofolio aplikasi mendatang. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu mengembangkan PT SMC Co-Design dalam menjalankan bisnis perusahaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis game simulasi. Simulasi pada dasarnya untuk mewakili benda atau sistem kerja yang sesungguhnya secara visual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada tahap pengumpulan data yaitu dengan melakukan studi pustaka, pembuatan objek 3 dimensi berdasarkan bentuk sistem yang sesungguhnya, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengintegrasian objek agar dapat dioperasikan. Peneliti mengembangkan media pembelajaran simulasi Tata Surya Pada Pembelajaran Astronomi menggunakan software Blender 3D dan dikombinasikan dengan software Unity. Blender 3D dipilih karena kemudahan dan kebutuhan sistem yang relatif kecil, sedangankan software Unity dipilih karena kemudahan Interface. Hasil dari penilitian ini adalah simulasi pergerakan dari sistem Tata Surya dalam bentuk animasi 3D. Keunggulan secara teknis, siswa dapat menggunakan aplikasi ini untuk melihat bagaimanan sistem Tata Surya berjalan, dapat mengetahui nama-nama planet dan keterangannya. Dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis game simulasi ini, diharapkan siswa mampu memahami tentang planet-planet dan cara kerja sistem Tata Surya dengan lebih mudah.

Abstract

Efficient electricity management remains one of the primary challenges in operating modern apartments and residential complexes. The prepaid KWH meter system offers an effective solution by enabling residents to monitor and control their electricity consumption independently. This study aims to develop a Prepaid KWH Meter Token Vending Application to enhance electricity management efficiency in such environments. The application is designed to help property managers generate, distribute, and monitor electricity tokens accurately and in an integrated manner. The research methodology includes five main stages: (1) Needs analysis, conducted through interviews and direct observation to identify problems and system requirements; (2) System design, including software architecture, user interface (UI/UX), and database design; (3) Web-based application development using the CodeIgniter framework and PHP; (4) Functionality test of the application was conducted using black box testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to gather user feedback; and (5) Performance evaluation to measure the efficiency improvements achieved through the application. The testing results show that the application can deliver tokens quickly and accurately, supporting effective electricity monitoring by management. This application is expected to improve operational efficiency, optimize electricity costs, and enhance comfort for residents

Abstract

Advances in science and technology are very helpful in human work. One of them is technological advances in the field of control systems. The use of microcontrollers really helps humans in carrying out their activities in daily life. One of its uses is in making tools to assist the blind in carrying out their activities. The blind hat with 3 Arduino-based ultrasound accesses is a tool for detecting distance with a range of 3 accesses, namely front, right side and left side. The components used in this tool include the Arduino Uno microcontroller, HC-SR 04 Ultrasound Sensor and DF Player and speakers. The Arduino Uno microcontroller is used as a data processor for both sensor input and actuator output. The use of the HC-SR04 Ultrasound sensor is used as a sensor for detecting obstacle distances. Meanwhile, the DF Player and Speaker are used as actuators. If the obstacle distance of the HC-SR04 sensor is under 40CM, the speaker will emit a sound according to the detected location so that the obstacle distance of an object can be detected by the blind from 3 access controls, namely the front, right side and left side.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi khususnya komputer sudah demikian majunya merambah setiap bidang kehidupan. Hampir semua aktifitas kegiatan manusia menggunakan teknologi modern, mulai dari dunia industri, rumah tangga bahkan bidang pertanian. Mikrokontroler sebagai salah satu perkembangan teknologi sebagai kontrol sistem otomatis. Yang diharapkan dapat mempermudah setiap kegiatan yang ingin dilakukan Pembuatan prototipe penyiram tanaman otomatis menggunakan kendali relay berfungsi mengotomatisasi penyiram pada tanaman. Penyiraman di dasarkan kebutuhan tanaman akan air melalui kelembaban tanah sehingga penyiraman yang dilakukan akan lebih efisien saat tanah mencapai kelembaban tertentu yang membutuhkan air maka secara otomatis pompa air akan melakukan penyiraman dan berhenti secara otomatis saat kelembaban menurun melewati batas maksimum. Perancangan prototipe penyiram tanaman otomatis menggunakan beberapa komponen utama sebagai input, control dan output. Untuk input menggunakan sensor kelembaban Soil Moisture YL-69, ultrasonik HC-SR04. Kontrol utama menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno. Dan output utama menggunakan pompa air dan tampilan LCD 16x2. Selain itu ada juga beberapa komponen pendukung seperti resistor sebagai penghambat untuk reset pada kontrol mikrokontroler Arduino Uno, Integrated Circuit sebagai pengatur blackligth pada LCD 16x2. Relay sebagai pemicu pompa air yang diproses dari kontrol mikrokontroler.

Abstract

Industry Four Point Zero manufacturing has transformed conventional production systems into intelligent, interconnected environments in which smart products play a central role. These smart products rely heavily on embedded systems to enable sensing, real-time control, communication, and autonomous decision-making under strict industrial constraints. This study aims to examine how embedded systems design influences the performance of smart products in Industry Four Point Zero manufacturing contexts, with particular attention to design attributes that support efficiency, adaptability, and reliability. A mixed-methods research design was employed, combining quantitative analysis of survey data collected from industrial practitioners with qualitative insights derived from case-based observations in manufacturing settings. The instruments focused on key embedded system design dimensions, including modularity, real-time responsiveness, communication efficiency, and system reliability, as well as corresponding smart product performance indicators. The results reveal that embedded systems design has a significant and positive effect on smart product performance, with communication efficiency and system reliability emerging as the strongest predictors of operational efficiency and fault tolerance. The findings demonstrate that smart manufacturing effectiveness is strongly determined by device-level design decisions rather than by higher-level digital infrastructures alone. In conclusion, the study highlights embedded systems design as a strategic foundation for smart products and underscores its critical role in achieving sustainable and resilient Industry Four Point Zero manufacturing.

Abstract

The increasing use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) in modern networks poses significant challenges for network monitoring and traffic management, particularly in accurately and efficiently distinguishing VPN and non-VPN traffic. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the SelectKBest feature selection method in improving VPN traffic classification performance using Random Forest and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms. The dataset used in this study is the CIC VPN-NonVPN Traffic Dataset provided by the Canadian Institute for Cybersecurity (CIC), which is widely recognized as a standard benchmark in network security research. Feature selection was performed using SelectKBest with the ANOVA (f_classif) scoring function, reducing the original feature set to 15 most relevant features. Experimental results show that the Random Forest classifier achieved a test accuracy of 84.94%, along with high F1-score and ROC-AUC values, and an average cross-validation accuracy of 95.18% with low variance. In contrast, the SVM model demonstrated relatively poor performance, with a test accuracy of approximately 62%, indicating its limitation in capturing the complex patterns of network traffic data. Further analysis using ROC curves, Precision–Recall curves, confusion matrices, and learning curves confirms that Random Forest exhibits superior generalization capability compared to SVM. These findings indicate that the combination of SelectKBest and Random Forest not only delivers high classification performance but also improves computational efficiency through feature dimensionality reduction, making it suitable for large-scale VPN traffic classification scenarios.

Abstract

Digital transformation has fundamentally reshaped communication patterns in higher education institutions in building and maintaining their reputations. Media disruption—characterized by platform convergence, accelerated information flows, and increased public participation—requires universities to develop adaptive and data-driven digital communication management strategies. This study aims to analyze digital communication management strategies in enhancing the reputation of higher education institutions and to formulate a conceptual model relevant to the dynamics of the digital era.The research employs a qualitative approach with a multiple case study design involving three higher education institutions in Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, social media observation, and analysis of communication policy documents. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, including open, axial, and selective coding procedures. The findings reveal that effective digital communication strategies consist of four main stages: strategic planning based on institutional positioning, narrative content production through academic storytelling, management of two-way engagement, and reputation monitoring based on digital analytics. The results also indicate that the integration of communication management and social media data analysis significantly contributes to strengthening public trust and enhancing institutional image.This study proposes the “Adaptive Digital Communication Strategy Model” as a conceptual contribution to the development of communication management in higher education institutions.
