Abstract

Inquiry-based learning (IBL) and 21st-century skills have received significant attention from educational researchers and practitioners in the field of physics education. With numerous studies affirming the positive effects of IBL, an increasing number of researchers are exploring IBL to foster various competencies within schools. However, little is known about how IBL in digital environments can influence students' 21st-century skills. This paper reviews recent literature on IBL and identifies a substantial body of research targeting enhancements in 21st-century skills resulting from IBL in digital settings. Findings indicate that integrating IBL with digital elements holds considerable potential to enrich learning experiences and develop 21st-century skills. The conceptual framework of such learning is grounded in theories of learning such as constructivism, cognitive theory, experiential learning, and connectivism. The instructional structure should be configured to has a balance between scientific processes and technological integration. This study also offers valuable insights for researchers, instructional designers, and educators in the field of physics education involved in the design and implementation of IBL in digital environments.

Abstract

Science Lesson is a subject that demands a lot of conceptual understanding, because in science learning, many students are faced with abstract concepts. Teachers need to direct the students through meaningful learning process that they experience themselves so as to apply knowledge in everyday life. Thus the use of science-based learning-based learning module is expected to increase student activity and learning outcomes. The research development model is a 3-D development model (tree D). The purpose of research is to produce learning module science- based project based learning on the material of organic and inorganic waste is effective. Data collection using validation sheet, practical and module effectiveness. The technique of data analysis is descriptive data, that is by describing the practicality of using science-based learning process-based learning module. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that the learning module of IPA on organic and inorganic waste processing materials oriented project based learning including effective category in terms of student activity, student motivation and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive augmented reality media in science learning for students with special needs that are valid and practical. To achieve the goal, the method used is the research and development method, adopting the ADDIE model, namely 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. The instrument used is the validity observation sheet and the practicality observation sheet. Based on data analysis, it was found that the validity of the Augmented Reality-based learning media for fifth grade elementary school students that was developed was declared valid with an average score of 3.32. Therefore, this learning media can be used as a supporting tool in the learning process in class V elementary school. Practicality The learning media based on Augmented Reality for grade V Elementary School students that was developed was stated to be very practical with a percentage of 91.8% consisting of 90.6% of teacher response questionnaires and 93.2% of student response questionnaires, so that augmented reality-based learning media developed belongs to the very practical category, so this media can be used as one of the learning materials, especially in science subjects on the water cycle material for fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the utilization of Integrated Instrument Component media (KIT) in science learning in several SD Negeri Siulak Mukai Sub districts. The method used is descriptive method with the survey research firm. Instruments used include observation sheets, questionnaires, and interview guides. Based on data analysis, it is found that the utilization of Integrated Instrument Component media (KIT) science in some SD Negeri Siulak Mukai sub-districts is not maximal yet. This is due to the lack of knowledge and skills of teachers in utilizing Integrated Instrument Component media (KIT) science, elusive and applicable guidebooks, inadequate teaching hours because the labs require a relatively long time, have not been trained in the use of Instrument Component media (KIT) science.

Abstract

The project based learning (PjBL) model is expected to be able to change students' learning styles by increasing motivation in learning, creativity in work, generating creative ideas, and being able to think critically. The meta-analysis research aims to find out how big the effect of the PjBL model is on the creativity and science learning outcomes of elementary school students?; Does the implementation of the PjBL model affect the creativity and science learning outcomes of elementary school students? Collecting articles using the publish or perish application with the keywords PjBL model, creativity, and elementary science learning outcomes. The data obtained was analyzed by calculating the effect size of each journal. Analysis of the average effect size of 0.92 is in the large category. The PjBL model influences the creativity and learning outcomes of elementary school students with r RE = 0.925 in the high category. This shows that the PjBL model can increase student creativity and learning outcomes in elementary school science learning. The PjBL model can improve and develop creativity and high-level thinking skills based on the demands of the 4.0 era.
