Abstract

This research aims to find out the strategy for winning the Plaza Senayan social media marketing pitch by Clay Creative House. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive study approach and data collection is carried out through in-depth interviews and documentation. The research results show that in responding to the social media marketing brief provided by Plaza Senayan, Clay Creative House went through previous research stages to ensure that Clay Creative House had prepared itself with sufficient background information to better understand the client's needs. Apart from that, in preparing the process of working on Plaza Senayan's social media marketing pitch deck, Clay Creative House organized it by carefully analyzing the social media marketing brief provided by Plaza Senayan to then translate it into specific tasks and job descriptions. As for carrying out the idea filtering process while working on Plaza Senayan's social media marketing pitch deck, Clay Creative House filters the ideas that have been raised by implementing a combination of control and creativity carried out by the project manager. There are several activities carried out by Clay Creative House during the process of working on Plaza Senayan's social media marketing pitch deck which are categorized into a creative process which includes initiation, knowledge distribution, polyphony, imagination, idea formulation, and consolidation. The structure of content preparation in the pitch deck proposal presentation slides is also prepared based on the AIDA approach where the introductory part of the proposal uses a persuasive approach through narrative storytelling to get attention, then uses data descriptions and strategy visualization to attract interest, after that a presentation of strategy implementation and content mockups to build a sense urgency, needs and desires of the client, and finally the implementation of the slogan in the closing as a form of CTA to encourage action (conversion). Meanwhile, in direct presentations to clients, Clay Creative House implements aspects of mutual attentiveness, positivity and coordination which enable them to implement adjustments to the character and interaction style of the interlocutor, namely Plaza Senayan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the motives of teenagers in purchasing and using virtual products in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang online game, teenagers' communication experience in using virtual products in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and teenagers' communication behavior with parents in using virtual products in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. This research uses a qualitative phenomenological approach with Phenomenology Theory. Data collection techniques in this research is using in-depth interviews and observation. Informant selection in this research is using purposive sampling technique. Then, data analysis in this research is using the Miles & Huberman interactive analysis technique. The results showed that there are two motives for teenagers to buy and use virtual products in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, namely because-motive which includes the appearance and aesthetics of virtual products, playing and liking heroes from virtual products, not wanting to be inferior to the surrounding environment, and in-order-to motive which includes to improve playing skills, to show off their virtual products, and to gain a sense of prestige and recognition from the surrounding environment. Communication experiences experienced by teenagers in using virtual products are divided into three, namely with parents, the environment, and themselves, all three of which tend to be positive communication experiences. Then, there are meanings about virtual products and relationships between teenagers and parents formed from communication behavior between them regarding the use of virtual products, teenagers interpret virtual products as pride, self-reward, investment, personalization, hobbies, lifestyle, and teenagers interpret their relationship with their parents as encouragement, good communication, parental affection, and reciprocal relationships.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the management strategies of the educational TikTok account @buiramira from the planning, implementation and activation stages, to the optimization of the management of the educational TikTok account @buiramira. This study is a qualitative research employing a descriptive case study method. The results of this research are to determine the social media management strategy carried out by the educational TikTok account @buiramira. There are three strategies involved in the process. First, in the planning stage, Mrs Ira identifies target audiences, analyzes their needs and interests, and sets goals for content creation. Next, in the activation and monitoring stage, Mrs Ira prepares equipment for content creation, followed by editing processes, ensuring the quality of content, and evaluating the production results, culminating in scheduling content publication. Finally, in the evaluation stage, Mrs Ira assesses the production results again, and upon uploading content, evaluates its performance.

Abstract

In view of the increased impact of social media, non-profit organization (NPOs) should review their communication strategies in social media to manage their relation with followers. This papers aims to examine which non profit organizational type of content that enhance high public engagement in Twitter. Using a quantitative content analysis of aniesbubble, tweets during campaign election period with 78 tweets are being classified into three different message function; information-community-action. One-way ANOVA was applied to test the effects of these message function and public engagement on Twitter which is likes and retweet. Findings revealed a significant effects among non profit message function and engagement in Twitter. The findings shows that community message function achieve the highest engagement among the others.

Abstract

The rise in the phenomenon of using Artificial Intelligence such as ChatGPT and the very high trust of the Indonesian people in the development of Artificial Intelligence, especially the Gen Z generation group with Higher Education status (students), has given rise to debate in terms of the impact of its uses as a technology that helps the learning process. On the positive side, ChatGPT can provide personalized and interactive learning, while on the negative side, ChatGPT can provide incorrect and inaccurate information. Meanwhile, penetration of its uses can no longer be avoided because it is easy to access, so the good and bad sides will continue to be felt, especially for its users. Moreover, until now there is still very little research on how this technology can help fulfill the needs of students within the research campus, especially the most important need for them as someone who is pursuing higher education, namely the need for satisfying learning. Therefore, this research aims to explain the relationship between the uses of ChatGPT and the fulfillment of learning needs for students at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University with the help of the Uses and Gratification theory approach. The research method usesd is a quantitative method with a type of correlational study design using the Spearman Rank correlation test The results of this study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the uses of ChatGPT and fulfilling the learning needs of students at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University with a correlation coefficient of 0.834. So, it can be concluded that the higher the uses of ChatGPT, the higher the fulfillment of students' learning needs, which means that frequent uses of ChatGPT can indicate that it is closely related to satisfying learning needs.

Abstract

Nowaday there is widespread coverage in the mass media regarding one of the institutions tasked with enforcing the law in the country of Indonesia related to cases of law violations committed by its own members, namely the Indonesian National Police. The police whose duty is to protect, protect and serve the community in carrying out their work must be directed to the community they serve so that their work can run well. However, the fact is that there are many cases of law violations committed by unscrupulous members of the police as well as the abuse of the functions and duties of the Police which have been regulated in the law which directly tarnishes the name of the Police tasked with protecting, nurturing and serving the community. Purpose: This research aims to determine the level of trustworthiness, expertise, and attractiveness of the Police in the eyes of students. Method: The method in this study is a quantitative descriptive methods. The data uses primary data through the distribution of questionnaires and literature studies such as books, journals and literature sources. Results: There are three aspects examined in source credibility, namely trustworthiness, expertise and attractiveness. The interval scale of the trustworthiness aspect is at a low level of trust where the dominant respondent who answered 54.72%. A total of 51.18% of respondents considered that the expertise aspect fell into a high category.. Regarding the attractiveness aspect of Polri, 61.02% of respondents considered that this aspect of Polri's attractiveness was in the moderate category.

Abstract

“Kabaret: Seni Berbica, Bahasa Berkarya” is a video feature that highlights cabaret as a medium for developing language and artistic skills, particularly among students. This work focuses on the role of the Director of Photograohy (DoP) in shaping visual quality that suppots narrative and emotional element in performing arts documentation. Tehe video combines documentation of cabaret performances, rehearsals, and interview with kwy figures as the main storytelling components. The applied cinematographic concept includes visual composition , lighting, camera angle selection, and movement techniques to create a dynamic and immersive visual presentation. The purpose of this report is to explain the responsibilities and contributions of the DoP across all production. This video successful applies key principles of cinematography, resulting in a work is not only visual aesthetic but also informative and inspiring for a broader audience.

Abstract

This final project is a video feature focusing on cabaret as a platform for developing language and artistic expression among its members. The video presents several interviewees as the primary content, offering insights into their experiences. In its creation, the directing process plays a crucial and inseparable role. This video feature applies a directing concept that significantly influences the production process, resulting in a well-structured piece. In general, directing is the process of translating a script into a visual form that aligns with the creative vision. The purpose of this report is to explain the directing concept applied in the making of the video, covering the video feature style, the chosen approach, and the structure of its presentation. The director holds a central role in overseeing all stages of production—pre-production, production, and post-production. The directing style used in this video adopts an expository approach, aiming to convey the story and message through voice-over narration and interviews with key sources. The video feature “Kabaret Bandung: The Art of Speaking, the Language of Creation” successfully implements key directing principles, both in terms of style and approach. The application of these concepts allows the video to be crafted in line with the director's vision and the intended target audience.
