Abstract

Information Technology and Communication played a important role in the execution of tasks by the Agricultural Extension and Research Agency (BPP). BPP Air Sijorman, located in Asahan Regency, was previously without a website. A community service initiative was undertaken to design a website for BPP Air Sijorman, serving as a platform for agricultural extension and the dissemination of information. The process commenced with socialization and the identification of system needs, followed by website design, implementation, and user training.  The website was conceptualized using CorelDRAW and physically designed by aligning the graphics with the source code on the website. The implemented system resulted in the creation of the BPP Air Sijorman website, which was accessible via both desktop and mobile devices at http://bpp-airjoman.website/beranda.html. The website offered information on farming guidelines, the latest news, agricultural policies, and the BPP profile, accessible through various menus. The response from both BPP and farmers to the BPP Air Sijorman website was highly positive. On average, participants in the training sessions demonstrated the ability to operationalize and effectively use the website. Participants also expressed satisfaction with the website's visually appealing design, user-friendly interface, informative content, simplicity, and easily understandable instructions. This positive feedback underscored the effectiveness of the implemented website, making it a valuable tool for agricultural extension and information dissemination.

Abstract

Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) is one of the main plantation commodities which plays an important role in the Indonesian economy, and 3rd ranked in the world for cocoa producers. One effort to increase cocoa productivity was the use of biological fertilizer. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of using rhizosphere bacterial microcapsules as biofertilizer on the vegetative growth of cocoa leaves. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design, with two factors, the first was immersion the cocoa beans using a rhizosphere bacterial suspension consisting of A0=0 hours; A1= 8 hours; A2=16 hours and A3=32 hours and the second factor is the addition of microcapsules consisting of C0=0 gram( g ); C1=10gr, C2=20gr, C3=30gr. Combination The treatment was repeated twice so that 32 plants were obtained. For the parameter of observing the number of leaves, the best results were shown in the 8 hour immersion treatment with an average number of leaves of 12.63, followed by the treatment of giving 20 grams of capsules with an average number of leaves of 11.75. The lowest number of leaves was shown in the 16-hour and 32-hour immersion treatments at 10.75. Meanwhile, for the observation parameters of leaf area, the best results were shown in the 32 hour immersion treatment with an average leaf area of 73.49 cm 2 and the lowest results were shown in the non-immersion treatment with an average leaf area of 59.88 cm 2 . The results of the analysis of variance showed that all treatments had no significant effect

Abstract

Abstrak Padi merupakan bahan pangan utama di Indonesia. Varietas padi Inpari merupakan varietas unggul yang berumur genjah dan produksinya yang tinggi serta respon terhadap pemupukan. Pupuk merupakan bahan unsur hara yang terpenting untuk pertumbuhan tanaman padi tetapi ketersediaanya sering terjadi kelangkaan sehingga diperlukan terobosan untuk mengatasi kebutuhan pupuk kimia, dengan melakukan inovasi teknologi tepat guna yang dapat memanfaatkan pupuk hayati yang bisa didapat dari hasil sisa tanaman. mendapatkan Varietas padi yang tepat untuk dikembangkan di Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2023 sampai Januari 2024 di Batang Kuis Medan. Metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok factorial dengan dua perlakuan yang diteliti faktor pertama yakni Pupuk Organik Hayati dengan taraf 1.5 L/air (H0), 2 L/air (H1) dan 2,5 (H2) sedangkan faktor kedua Varietas dengan taraf  varietas Inpari 32 (I1), Inpari 33 (I2) dan Inpari (I3). Pemberian pupuk organik hayati dan varietas memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan produksi ubinan sedangkan interkasi pupuk organik Hayati dan varietas tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan dan produksi ubinan.

Abstract

Produksi kacang panjang (Vigna sinensis L.) dipengaruhi oleh teknik pemupukan dan jenis pupuk yang dipakai. Penggunaan dosis yang tepat serta waktu yang tepat akan memaksimalkan produktivitas buah yang dihasilkan. Penelitian tentang penggunaan pupuk cair limbah tahu dan kotoran kambing terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi kacang panjang untuk mengetahui efektivitas dosis pupuk dan pengaruhnya masing-masing. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan perlakuan penambahan pupuk organik cair limbah tahu dan kotoran kambing. Faktor pertama adalah pemberian pupuk kendang kambing, yaitu konsentrasi 0 g (PK0), 200 g (PK1), 400 g (PK2), dan 600 g (PK3).  Faktor kedua adalah POC air tahu, yaitu konsentrasi 0 ml/l (PC0), 10 ml/l (PC1),  20 ml/l (PC2), dan 30 ml/l (PC3). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan perlakuan terbaik parameter tinggi tanaman dengan dosis PC1 (233,7 cm), parameter jumlah daun perlakuan terbaik pada PC2 (46,66) dan parameter berat buah terbaik pada perlakuan PK2 (465,50 gr). Penggunaan pupuk organik cair limbah tahu dan kotoran kambing efektif memacu pertumbuhan dana produksi kacang panjang.
