Abstract

To contribute and lead the future, the young generation is an agent of change and a determinant of the future survival of the nation. They should be able to communicate well, including speaking in public. Speaking in public is not the same as speaking at home. Although not everyone has the ability to speak in public, everyone has a ability to talk. Just like today's younger generation, which needs guidance and attention to be able to perform with confidence in public. Early adolescence is an important period in a person's development, including the ability to speak in public. This ability will be very useful to them. Many high school students, especially the ninth grade, still feel distressed and nervous when speaking in public. This can cause them difficulties in conveying their ideas and ideas clearly. As a result, public speaking training should be designed specifically for ninth-grade high school students, especially in Sinjai 15th grade high school. The aim is to provide early supplies to students who will enter high school, as they will speak more often in public, such as in discussions in classes, presentations, and other events related to speaking in public.

Abstract

Da'wah is a religious duty that requires every Muslim person to play a role in inviting or calling others to the right path. In preaching, it takes courage and confidence to appear in public. Therefore, public speaking skills are very necessary, especially for children who have the desire and courage to appear in public. One way that can be used to build children's public speaking skills is to conduct da'wah training from an early age, including training to deliver lectures. This training was conducted at the kindergarten / TPA in Erabaru village and aims to help develop children's skills to dare to appear in public speaking and train students to foster self-confidence, In this training, the method used is the method of approach and motivation. The approach methods used include observation, socialization, implementation of activities and evaluation. The result of this training is that some students are brave and confident to appear to deliver lectures and try to memorize lecture scripts so that they can be smoother when performing in front of their friends.

Abstract

Da'wah rhetoric is the art of conveying da'wah messages, this art aims so that the messages conveyed by the preacher can be well received by listeners in an effort to prevent radicalism in Tassililu village, especially to youth or mosque youth, da'wah rhetoric training activities are certainly an alternative that can be done so that young people or young people in the mosque can understand and accept sentences or da'wah messages conveyed by a da'i so that later when they grow up they can distinguish between sentences that can lead to actions that contain elements of radicalism. The method used Delivery of material and discussion and practice. The attitude of the youth of the mosque when carrying out preaching practices, the smooth process of communication in preaching, is a method used by humans in an effort to share meaning through the transmission of symbolic messages which is very important.

Abstract

Debat antaragama bukan sekadar pertukaran argumentasi, tetapi juga menjadi ajang untuk memahami perspektif yang berbeda dan menemukan titik temu yang dapat menghindari konflik berkepanjangan Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk Menganalisis strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh Dondy Tan dalam debat antaragama serta Mengidentifikasi metode retorika dan teknik persuasi yang diterapkan oleh Dondy Tan dalam menyampaikan argumennya, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk menganalisis strategi komunikasi yang digunakan dalam debat antaragama, Teknik Pengumpulan Data dalam penelitian ini adalah Observasi Non-Partisipatif diamna Peneliti mengamati rekaman debat untuk mengidentifikasi pola komunikasi yang digunakan, termasuk teknik argumentasi, retorika, serta strategi dalam merespons pernyataan lawan debat, Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis (Critical Discourse Analysis/CDA) untuk memahami bagaimana strategi komunikasi mempengaruhi jalannya debat dan reaksi audiens. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Strategi komunikasi Dondy Tan berakar pada pendekatan logis dan rasional. Ia kerap menyusun argumen dalam bentuk yang sistematis dan berbasis data, baik dari teks-teks Kitab suci maupun dari referensi akademik, Salah satu kekuatan utama dalam komunikasi Dondy Tan adalah penggunaan metode retorika klasik: ethos, pathos, dan logos. Ia membangun kredibilitas (ethos) melalui pengetahuan terhadap kitab suci dan literatur keagamaan.

Abstract

Public speaking dapat didefinisikan sebagai kegiatan menyampaikan pesan dari pembicara tertentu kepada audiens tertentu (public) dalam konteks yang formal dan telah direncanakan sebelumnya. Mempelajari lebih dalam mengenai public speaking tentu tidak dapat dilepaskan dari teori-teorikomunikasi yang berada di sekitarnya. Adapun tujuan diadakannya seminar Public Speaking adalah agar pemuda /kalangan pelajar mampu berbicara di depan umum/publik. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan sosialisasi. Hasil dari seminar public speaking adalah peserta mampu berbicara did epan umum tanpa ada rasa gugup
