Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya limbah tandan aren yang sampai saat ini belum dapat ditangani dengan baik. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menghilangkan zat pencemar dari air limbah adalah adsorpsi. Material yang biasa digunakan sebagai penyerap yaitu arang aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi ukuran bulir dan waktu aktivasi terhadap daya adsorpsi Iodium dan Metilen Blue dari arang aktif tandar aren. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah arang aktif yang memiliki variasi ukuran bulir 60 mesh, 100 mesh dan 200 mesh dan diaktivasi dengan temperatur 7000 C serta waktu aktivasi yang bervariasi yaitu 60 menit, 90 menit dan 120 menit. Uji daya adsorpsi Iodium menggunkan Metode Titrasi Iodimetri, sedangkan uji adsorpsi Metile Blue menggunakan Spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa daya adsorpsi Iodium dan Metilen Blue maksimum pada ukuran partikel 200 mesh dengan waktu aktivasi 120 menit yaitu masing-masing sebesar 448,38 mg/g dan 117,744 mg/g.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency is a nutritional disorder that is still experienced by many pregnant women. The purpose of the study is to provide benefits to pregnant women, especially for pregnant women who are still experiencing CED so that they can maintain their balanced nutrition and can reduce the incidence of CED in the next years. The research design used was analytic with a cross sectional approach with samples of 27 pregnant women who carried out Integrated ANC at the their Tragah Health Center Bangkalan. The Independent variable was parity and fulfillment of balanced nutrition, while the dependent variable was CED. The result of this research shows us that majority of pregnant women were multigravida and those who well- fulfilled and sufficient balanced nutrition, did not experience CED. So it can be concluded that there was no relationship between parity and balanced nutrition fulfilment with the incidence of CED in pregnant women (ρ-value 0.689). It is necessary for the health workers to provide supplementary food, increase services in the field of counseling, and provide education related to balanced and nutritious food, especially for pregnant women to prevent CED.

Abstract

DAMIU (Refill Drinking Water Depot) is an individual or group business that manages refill drinking water for public consumption directly filled on the spot and not in packaged form, this water must meet the standardization of drinking water quality requirements with one of its parameters, namely physical parameters that do not directly related to health, namely temperature, pH, total dissolved solids and electrical conductivity. This research was conducted to determine the quality of refill drinking water in Tanjung Redeb Subdistrict, whether it complies with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 concerning drinking water quality requirements and to determine the effect of the duration of water storage on drinking water quality with parameters physical. This research was conducted in Tanjung Redeb District, Berau Regency and was carried out with 2 different water sources, namely drilled wells and PDAM. Water quality is measured using a TDS meter. Based on the research that has been done, the results of measuring the quality of refill drinking water in Tanjung Redeb District, Berau Regency, namely the water quality meets the standardization of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 concerning drinking water quality requirements and the result is that the storage time for 15 days had an effect on changes in the values ​​of the parameters pH, TDS and DHL and even though they were stored for 15 days the quality still met drinking water quality standards while the temperature parameter had no effect.
