Abstract

Amarilis waterfall is in the area of Forest Park (Tahura) Nipa-Nipa mountains in addition to serve as a natural tourist spot as well as upstream sources of clean water by people around the flow of waterfalls lasting ± 30 years. The problem is that in the last two years water entering the community began to blur during the rainy season and reduced, none other than the problem of discharge and many other tourism potentials to be observed by visitors. So the researchers analyzed the flow of waterfall flow Amarilis and identify the potential tourist attraction waterfalls. After measuring the flow of Amarilis waterfall flow of 0.315 m3 / sec (instantaneous measurement). Waterfalls in addition to the potential of natural tourism there is another potential that is; peak viktor camp area, flora there are various types of plants, fauna there are various types of animals and natural panorama that has the appeal of the pengujung and observe the expanse of Kendari and Kendari Bay.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of the concept of students on mechanical wave material for students in class XI SMAN 1 Mawasangka Tengah. This type of research is a type of quantitative descriptive research. In this study, the authors wanted to analyze the students' conceptual understanding using the Four-tier diagnostic test instrument. The object of this research is the students of class XI IPA (1) and XI IPA (2) at SMAN 1 Mawasangka Tengah. The data in this study are primary data collected using four-tier diagnostic tests and documentation. The results of the data analysis showed that the average value of the percentage level of understanding of sub-concept students (1) the factors that influence the speed of the wave propagation, namely 4.4% understanding the concept, 81.4% misconception and 14.2% not understanding the concept (2) The current wave period is 23.5% understanding the concept, 64.4% misconception and 13.1% not understanding the concept (3) The frequency of the traveling wave is 32.2% understanding the concept, 51.4% misconception and 16.4 % do not understand the concept (4) Frequency on stationary waves is 36.6% understand the concept, 48.6% misconception and 14.7% do not understand the concept and (5) Wavelength on stationary waves is 15.8% understand the concept, 69 , 9% had misconceptions and 14.2% did not understand the concept. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that: 1) The students' understanding of the concept of mechanical waves was included in the low category. Students who understood the concept were 22.5%, most of the students' understanding of the criteria did not understand the concept of 14.7% and 62.8% indicated that they had misconceptions. 2) Misconception of the high category found in the concept of factors that affect the speed of wave propagation by 81.4%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya limbah tandan aren yang sampai saat ini belum dapat ditangani dengan baik. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menghilangkan zat pencemar dari air limbah adalah adsorpsi. Material yang biasa digunakan sebagai penyerap yaitu arang aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi ukuran bulir dan waktu aktivasi terhadap daya adsorpsi Iodium dan Metilen Blue dari arang aktif tandar aren. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah arang aktif yang memiliki variasi ukuran bulir 60 mesh, 100 mesh dan 200 mesh dan diaktivasi dengan temperatur 7000 C serta waktu aktivasi yang bervariasi yaitu 60 menit, 90 menit dan 120 menit. Uji daya adsorpsi Iodium menggunkan Metode Titrasi Iodimetri, sedangkan uji adsorpsi Metile Blue menggunakan Spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa daya adsorpsi Iodium dan Metilen Blue maksimum pada ukuran partikel 200 mesh dengan waktu aktivasi 120 menit yaitu masing-masing sebesar 448,38 mg/g dan 117,744 mg/g.

Abstract

The research aims to visualize the Fraunhofer Diffraction Equation in the Circle Slit using Excel Spreadsheets and Macro Visual Basic for Application (VBA). The results of this study indicate that Microsoft Excel is able to display a visualization of fraunhofer diffraction shapes on the circle slit. The results of this study can also show a simulation of the formation of fraunhofer diffraction in a slit circle with a gap width (a) and a different wavelength (λ).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui morfologi permukaan arang aktif yang diaktivasi secara kimia dengan agen aktivasi potassium silikat (K2SiO3) dan secara fisika dengan variasi temperatur aktivasi. Karbon aktif tandan aren diperoleh dari tahap karbonasi pada suhu (300 oC -400 oC) dan perendaman dengan K2SiO3 selama 12 jam serta aktivasi fisika selama 30 menit dengan variasi temperatur 600oC,700oC, dan 800 oC. morfologi permukaan arang aktif dikarakterisasi menggunakan SEM dan di analysis menggunakan Software Image-J untuk mengetahui luas permukaan pori. Dari analisis, diperoleh luas pori permukaan  arang aktif yang hanya diaktivasi secara kimia sebesar 510 nm. Sedangkan dengan aktivasi kimia dilanjutkan dengan pemanasan pada temperatur 600 oC,700 oC, dan 800 oC memiliki luas pori permukaan masing-masing sebesar 535 nm, 628 nm, dan 520 nm.  Hasil analisis menunjukan luas pori permukaan pada karbon aktif yang paling besar terdapat pada aktivasi 700 oC yang mencapai 628 nm dan  dikategorikan dalam macropori.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan agar dapat memperoleh media pembelajaran fisikayang menarik mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik serta  guru dalam menyajikan pelajaran dan memperoleh media pembelajaran fisika yang layak di gunakan dalam pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembanagan (Resesrch and Development) dengan mengacu pada model pengembanagan ADDIE yaitu Analysis (Analisis), Design (Desain), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Media pembelajaran ini di buat menggunakan software Adobe Flash CS6 kemudian divalidasi oleh 2 ahli media dengan rata-rata persentase penilaian 87%,2 ahli materi dengan dengan rata-rata persentase penilaian 87,5% dan 2 ahli pembelajaran dengan rata-rata persentase penilaian 89% serta ujicoba terbatas oleh 2 orang guru dan 23 siswa SMAN 1 Barangka yang masing-masing diperoleh hasil rata-rata persentase penilaian sebesar 96,6% dan 86,23%. Hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis Adobe Flash CS6 pada materi pokok fluida statis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dengan hasil validasi oleh ahli pembelajaran, ahli materi, ahli media masuk dalam kategori “valid” serta hasil dari uji coba terbatas oleh guru dan siswa dengan rata-rata persentase penilaian masuk dalam kategori “ praktis”. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan media pembelajaran berbasis Adobe Flash CS6 pada materi pokok fluida statis  sangat layak digunakan pada pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the misconceptions of unidirectional electric circuit material in elementary school students of the city of Kendari using a four-tier test. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique with the consideration of taking schools that have the same vocational training so that they get 4 classes from the Department of Computer and Network Engineering totaling 110 people. The population of this research is all students of SMK Negeri Kendari City. Data collection was carried out by providing a test instrument in the form of four-tier diagnostic test questions totaling 15 numbers, which were adopted from the 2018 Tami Beniarti questions and interviews. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis to obtain a percentage of concept understanding, misconception, partial understanding, not understanding the concept and cannot be coded to students so that conclusions are obtained: (1) the average percentage of concept understanding is 12.8%, misconceptions are 24.1 %, do not understand the concept of 23.4%, understand partially by 37.5%, and cannot be coded as much as 2.2%, (2) Students' misconceptions of each sub-concept are successively electric current and potential difference (34) , 24%), electrical resistance and circuit resistance (23.94%), simple circuit analysis (17.88%), Ohm's law (21.82%), and Kirchoff's law (22.73%), (3) percentage of misconceptions among students in each vocational high school namely at SMKN 1 Kendari the percentage of misconceptions was 18.0%, for SMKN 3 Kendari the percentage of misconceptions was 19.7%, for SMKN 4 Kendari the percentage of misconceptions was 29.9%, whereas for SMKN 5 Kendari the percentage of misconceptions of 29.3%. Overall the percentage obtained for each school is of low category.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the magnetic susceptibility of the soil and the rate of evapotranspiration in Ranooha Village, Ranomeeto District, Konawe Selatan District. Soil magnetic susceptibility was measured using Bartington Susceptibility MS2B meter while evapotranspiration rate was measured using Lycimeter. Soil magnetic susceptibility analyzed consisted of three sampling points, each consisting of vegetation (grass) and non-vegetation (without grass) sites, with the same depth variations namely 0 cm, 10 cm, 20 cm, 30 cm, 40 cm and 50 cm. Each sample is coded V00, V10, V20, V30, V40, V50 for sampling at vegetation (grass) sites, and NV00, NV10, NV20, NV30, NV40, and NV50 for sampling at non-vegetation (without grass) sites. The measurement results show that variations in values of χLF range from a minimum value of 0.8 x 10-8 m3/ kg toa maximum value of 3.8 x 10-8 m3/ kg at point 1, minimum value of 0.8 x 10-8 m3/ kg up to a maximum value of 3.9 x 10-8 m3/ kg at point 2, and a minimum value of 0.9 x 10-8 m3/ kg up to a maximum value of 2.6 x 10-8 m3/ kg at point 3 for vegetation (grass). While variations in values of χLF rangefrom a minimum value of 1.7 x 10-8 m3/ kg to a maximum value of 2.4 x 10-8 m3/ kg at point 1, a minimum value of 1.6 x 10-8 m3/ kg up to a maximum value of 2.9 x 10-8 m3/ kg at point 2, and a minimum value of 1.6 x 10-8 m3/ kg up to a maximum value of 2.9 x 10-8 m3/ kg at point 3 for non vegetation (without grass). While the maximum rate of evapotranspiration occurs in November for 2018 which is 5.3 mm / day, while the maximum rate of evapotranspiration in 2019 also occurs in November which is 6.1 mm / day for vegetation (grass) sites. While the maximum rate of evapotranspiration occurs in October for 2018 which is 4.3 mm / day, while the maximum rate of evapotranspiration in 2019 occurs in November which is 5.7 mm / day for non-vegetation (without grass)  sites

Abstract

In this study aims to describe the ability and difficulty profile of students in solving graphic motion concept problems using diagnostic tests on grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 10 Kendari. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class VIII3 of Junior High School 10 Kendari in the 2018/2019 school year and conducted in May 2019. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by providing research instruments in the form of description tests. Data analysis techniques in the form of analysis of the results of tests of ability and difficulty associated with solving graphical problems. The results of this study indicate that the average ability of students in solving graphic motion concepts is less category with each interpretation ability of 10.14%, interpolation of 30%, extractpolation of 16.66% and transformation ability of 19, 11%. To profile the difficulties of students based on the KKM achievement, students still experience difficulties for all indicators with the average category being the weak category. While the difficulty profile is based on the material profile, students still experience difficulties for all sub materials with an average weak category.

Abstract

The aim of study is to investigate the impact whatsapp-blended learning implementation of SMKN 2 Kendari student’s understanding of electricity learning. The study is quantitative research with pre-experimental way while using one group pretest-posttest design of research. Moreover, a research sample is taken by the method of probability sampling which is kind of simple random sampling. A technique of data collecting uses to test and non-test (questioner). A technique of data analysis uses descriptive statistic and inferential statistic. The results of this study show that the average value of student’s abilities to understand the physic concept on pre-test which is representatively 43.72, while in the post-test it is 88.00 while in the post-test it is 88.00 with an average n-gain of 0.78. The study shows that blended learning application generally takes a great response of students, which stood on 64.48% of the average scores.
