Abstract

This study investigates the Mamaca tradition, a prominent oral literary heritage of the Madurese and Pandalungan communities in East Java, characterized by the melodic chanting of ancient didactic texts. The research aims to analyze the socio-ideological role of Mamaca in instilling moral and ethical values, such as filial piety and respect for educators. Employing semiotic and ethnolinguistic approaches, the study explores the structural and symbolic meanings embedded in various genres, including epics and hagiographies of the prophets. Despite its significance as a vehicle for philosophical and religious transmission, the tradition faces potential extinction due to the proliferation of modern entertainment and a critical lack of regeneration among the youth. The findings highlight current revitalization efforts by customary institutions, academics, and the government to reintegrate Mamaca into formal education, specifically within local language curricula, to preserve regional etiquette (tata krama). The study concludes that the integration of Mamaca’s aesthetic and ethical values into the educational sphere is a vital strategy for cultural sustainability. This approach ensures that local wisdom remains a relevant foundation for character building amidst the shifting sociocultural landscape of contemporary Indonesia.

Abstract

Anti-corruption education has become a strategic instrument in strengthening integrity values among university students, particularly in the digital era characterized by rapid information flows, data transparency, and technology-based social interactions. However, existing studies indicate that the implementation of anti-corruption education in higher education institutions still faces several challenges, including the dominance of cognitive-oriented approaches, limited pedagogical innovation, and inconsistencies between taught values and social realities experienced by students. This article aims to comprehensively examine the transformation of anti-corruption education in strengthening students’ integrity values in the digital era through a literature review approach. The scope of this study focuses on anti-corruption learning strategies, the utilization of digital media, the integration of local cultural values, and the influence of social environments on integrity internalization. The method employed is a literature review by identifying, reviewing, and critically analyzing selected articles from relevant national and international journals published within the last ten years. The findings indicate that effective transformation of anti-corruption education requires an integrated approach that combines digital technology utilization, character education, and contextually grounded socio-cultural values. Anti-corruption education should not merely function as knowledge transmission but as a continuous process of shaping ethical attitudes and behaviors. Therefore, strengthening literature-based anti-corruption education is expected to foster students’ critical awareness, moral commitment, and strong integrity in addressing global challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

Korupsi merupakan permasalahan serius yang berdampak luas terhadap kehidupan sosial, ekonomi, dan moral bangsa. Upaya pemberantasan korupsi tidak dapat hanya mengandalkan penindakan hukum, tetapi memerlukan langkah preventif yang berkelanjutan melalui pendidikan. Pendidikan antikorupsi menjadi strategi penting dalam membentuk generasi yang berintegritas, berkarakter, dan memiliki kesadaran moral yang kuat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran pendidikan antikorupsi sebagai upaya membangun generasi berintegritas melalui telaah terhadap berbagai penelitian terdahulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis sembilan jurnal ilmiah yang relevan dengan topik pendidikan antikorupsi dan integritas. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan antikorupsi efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan kepedulian sosial apabila diintegrasikan secara sistematis dalam kurikulum, budaya sekolah, serta keteladanan pendidik. Pendidikan antikorupsi juga berperan sebagai langkah preventif yang mampu membentuk sikap kritis dan keberanian peserta didik dalam menolak perilaku koruptif. Dengan demikian, pendidikan antikorupsi memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun generasi berintegritas dan menciptakan budaya antikorupsi yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pendidikan antikorupsi dalam pembentukan karakter siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di salah satu SMK Negeri di Kabupaten Bondowoso, Jawa Timur. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan antikorupsi diimplementasikan melalui dua jalur utama, yaitu pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) serta kegiatan non-formal sekolah, khususnya upacara bendera. Pembelajaran PPKn berperan dalam menanamkan nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, dan integritas melalui pendekatan kontekstual dan reflektif, sementara kegiatan non-formal memperkuat internalisasi nilai melalui pembiasaan dan keteladanan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa sinergi antara pembelajaran formal dan budaya sekolah merupakan faktor kunci dalam membangun karakter antikorupsi siswa secara berkelanjutan
