Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic impacts the learning which it shifts face-to-face learning to distance learning. The shift insists the schools, particularly teachers to apply the effective and efficient learning medium. The principal of SMPIT Laa Tazhan Citra mentioned his teachers need the effective, efficient, and interesting learning medium during Covid-19 situation. Besides, they need to develop their knowledge and skill to assess students’ tasks or performance effectively. Their needs could be facilitated through training of online class development and authentic assessment using Moodle. The methods undertaken were presentation, discussion, and simulation. The result showed that the training provided teachers insight, knowledge, and skill to build online class and authentic assessment using Moodle. They are expected to apply their knowledge and skills in their own class referring to their students’ need and characteristics as well their learning objectives.  Keywords: online class, Moodle, authentic assessment, rubric

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze further the relationship and influence of price, customer experience on purchase intentions which is mediated by customer satisfaction on purchase intentions at the HaiDiLao restaurant. The method used in this research is a quantitative method and was processed using AMOS. The survey was conducted on 155 respondents who met the respondent criteria using non-probability sampling. The research found that price perception, customer experience, and customer satisfaction did not significantly influence the purchase intention. Meanwhile, price perception and customer experience had a significant influence on customer satisfaction. On the other hand, price perception and customer experience also did not significantly influence purchase intention. The limitation of the research was the limited respondents, with 155 respondents domiciled in Jakarta who have visited HaiDiLao restaurant in Jakarta. This research could be generalized more widely if the samples were taken not only from Jakarta City. The implications of this research provided managerial contributions to the food and beverages industry, especially an overview of customer experience and an understanding of the factors influencing increased purchase intentions, such as price perception, customer experience, customer satisfaction, and purchase intention. So, managers can develop a business strategic plan that aligns with internal and external company conditions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the condition of the Mata Kucing Tourist Forest as one of the natural tourist attractions in Batam City, Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative analysis approach and a SWOT analysis tool, this research evaluates the internal and external factors that influence the management and development of the Mata Kucing Tourism Forest area. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires and observations. The research results show that the area has strengths in its strategic location, adequate facilities and attractive natural environment. However, several weaknesses such as lack of promotion and sufficient supervision are challenges. Opportunities for development include the use of public transport, affordability and animal diversity. The threat is mainly related to the prices of food and drinks in tourist forests. Based on the SWOT analysis, a development strategy is proposed to exploit internal strengths and external opportunities while overcoming internal weaknesses and anticipating external threats.
