Abstract

Regular monitoring of microplastics contamination in marine biota have been concerned in the world, since its tiny size can be swallowed direct or indirectly and lead health problems. Tuban waters is the one of Indonesia's coastal and marine fisheries areas with high risk of microplastic pollution due to their highly anthropogenic activities. We investigated the microplastic in the digestive tracts of pelagic and demersal fishes in Tuban sea waters.  Microplastic in fish sample guts were observed under microscope and the type of polymer were examined using FT-IR. This study reveals that number of microplastic in digestive tract of pelagic fishes were higher than demersal fishes. The dominant form was fiber (62%) with black color and dominant size ranging from 100-500 um (72%). The types of polymers found were polyethylene and polyamide.

Abstract

The results showed that there was an increase in thematic learning outcomes that were pursued through the example non example learning model. This research was conducted in two cycles. This is indicated by the increase in learning outcomes based on the teacher's observation sheet, namely in the first cycle the student observation results at the first meeting were 70.31%, the second meeting was 71.87%, the third meeting was 75% and already in the second meeting. categorized as good and in the second cycle the increase in the first meeting was 78.12%, the second meeting was 79.68%, the third meeting was 84.37% and was categorized as very good. Student observation sheets, namely in the first cycle the results of student observations at the first meeting were 60%, the second meeting was 71.66%, the third meeting was 75% and was categorized as good and in the second cycle the increase in the first meeting was 75%, the second meeting was 78.33%, the third meeting is 83.33% and has been categorized as very good. Completeness in the final test is the number of students who completed before the action as many as 15 students (60% of all students). After being given action. in the first cycle, the number of students who completed learning increased to 16 students (64% of all students), and in the second cycle the number of students who completed the study increased to 20 students (80% of all students). Based on the results of the research above, students must focus on the learning process using example non example, this is an alternative model that can be used by teachers in the learning process to be able to improve learning outcomes and student activity in the classroom.

Abstract

Based on the observation, the teacher has not used interesting learning media, the learning media used is only in the form of whiteboard media and powerpoint media, where the media used has not been able to help deliver the material accurately and clearly so that students do not understand the material being taught. Limited material sources are only in the form of textbooks that are no longer suitable for use and are only owned by the teacher, so students have difficulty reviewing the material independently. Based on these problems, this research aims to develop interactive learning media based on Adobe Animate that is valid, practical, and effective in 2-dimensional animation subjects. This type of development research is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D (four-D) development model which consists of four stages, namely, (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, and (4) Disseminate. The results of this development research are obtained based on the results of the development test. (1) Validity test, the results obtained were 0.79 (media aspects) and 0.82 (material aspects) with valid categories. (2) Practicality test, with a teacher response of 82.35% and a student response of 81.32% with a practical category. (3) Effectiveness test, obtained from student learning outcomes that reached 86.7% KKM classically and the results of paired t test data analysis showed an increase between Pretest and Posttest of -9.9604. Based on the test results obtained, it is concluded that the interactive media is effective.
