Abstract

The demands of the digital era 4.0 for pre-school and school-age children reap many challenges that must be faced, including in the world of education. Saturation and low literacy at the child level cannot be avoided because the material presented is inadequate and not packaged in an attractive way so that it is still unable to compete with various content and online games on the internet which are attractive but not educational. Lack of information about expertise, skills and politeness in digital literacy on social media, to avoid hoaxes that are increasingly widespread. The methods we use to find and solve this problem are interviews, observation and literature study. This method uses the help of a qualitative and psychoeducational approach. This new innovation with wayang animation media is expected to be able to answer one form of increasing literacy in children which is carried out both online with digital platforms, and offline, namely face to face by reading stories through performances similar to wayang shows. The results showed that 92% of respondents rated education from the content presented by Aniway which was able to increase children's literacy in learning and creativity.

Abstract

This article explores the vital role of Islamic libraries in transmitting scientific knowledge during the European Renaissance, contributing to Europe's modern-era advancement. Utilizing a qualitative approach with a historical literature review, the study analyzes data from various historical documents through heuristics, criticism, verification, interpretation, and historiography. It identifies three main channels for knowledge transfer from the East to the West: Andalusia, Sicily, and the Crusades. Andalusia, in particular, became a hub of scholarship and civilization, resulting in the translation and dissemination of diverse books, ultimately leading to the establishment of European universities. A parallel transformation occurred in Sicily, where an Islamic system persisted under Christian rule. The introduction of paper and the printing press facilitated the widespread dissemination of knowledge. Averroism, influenced by these developments, played a pivotal role in catalyzing the Renaissance, shaping Europe's trajectory towards exploration and global leadership in modern civilization. Islamic libraries' contributions in transmitting scientific knowledge significantly influenced the Renaissance, laying the foundation for Europe's subsequent achievements and leadership in the modern world.

Abstract

This study explores the archival collections of the Muhammadiyah Museum as a medium for transmitting and reflecting the organization’s ideology. The research aims to analyze how Muhammadiyah’s ideological values are constructed and articulated through the visual elements embedded in its museum archives. A qualitative approach was employed, incorporating visual content analysis, ethnographic observation, and in-depth interviews with curators and visitors. The findings reveal that the museum’s archives actively construct ideological narratives of Islamic modernism and nationalism through carefully curated visual frameworks. Representations of Muhammadiyah leaders, educational initiatives, and social movements are displayed with an aesthetic that underscores values such as progress, rationality, and reform. The curatorial practices demonstrate processes of selection and interpretation that mirror the organization’s contemporary ideological orientation in navigating Indonesia’s socio-political landscape. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of museums as ideological agents and highlights the importance of visual literacy in interpreting embedded messages within historical archives. The findings further illustrate how religious organizations utilize visual representation to preserve and transmit ideological identities across generations.
